Dio stood there, the sand swirling around him. The dust tangling up his own hair. Was it madness for him to come out here? Fate, perhaps? No matter, he was ready for whatever may come his way. Warriors of Nocturne had finally caught onto his scent, and he would defend himself it seemed. From above, two soldiers bearing ax's came down at him. Dio crouched, and then sprung forward, away from the attack. A low growl escaped his throat as he grin and stood, running forward and pulling his fist back, bringing into the man's face. A large crack was heard as the warrior was sent sprawling out, slamming into a rock face. A grin spread upon the Anima's face as he turned around just as the next man came at him. The ax was inches away from him as he grabbed the man's arm, elbowed him in the stomach, and sent a palm into his throat. The man backed up and gagged as Dio delivered a swift kick to the man's side, causing him to fall.

"Attack!" A man called out as three archers came up behind him, followed by more ax-wielders. The archers shot their volleys, lucky for his meditations before the battle his Iron Stance was active, allowing him to charged straight through the volleys, grabbing on archer by the throat, spinning and smashing him into the ground. Unknown to the small army, his Exodus resided on his hands. Gauntlets. Plain and simple. They began to glow an iridescent purple, causing him to grin. "Enough with this idle bullshit." Dio took off in a sprint, leaping off the soldiers until he came face-to-face with the general. His mind was racing, making him restless. All he could think about was blood, the joy of killing. Watching entrails after entrails fall from the body. It excited him. Made him him alive! So without even thinking he gripped the man's head in his grasp and held him up. Grinning, he dug his fingers into the man's skull. Deeper. Deeper. And deeper, the man screamed his body began to emit a slowly fading aura. His soul was becoming a meal for Dio. "Yes... More. I want more!" Dio screamed as the blood poured from the man's skull, mouth, ears, and eyes. Seeping down until he was lifeless. Dio loosed his grip and lick his gauntlets. The black and gold meta had blood running through every part of it.

After mere seconds, he began to slowly turn around as he looked upon the frightened group of warriors as they huddled together in immense fear. The moon shone bright above as screams were heard of blood shot into the sky, obscuring Dio's fun from mortal eyes.
