-------------------------------- [enter from apartments] All of a sudden a dark figure that Sora couldn't recognize appeared out of nowhere before Sora and caught her eye. "Tenjou Gyakumodori!" it said in a dark voice, and then vanished as if it never was. Sora would find herself hanging upside down. She would fear that the moment she moved she would break free of the earth and fall into nothingness. Which in a strange coincidence was the perfect chance to use the jutsu she had just been taught. If she were to move she would be free, but that would be the boring method to use, and she probably didnt know about it. When applied on an opponent or a test subject, they will feel as if they are upside down with their feet still on the ground but feeling as if the direction of “down” is the direction of the sky. This genjutsu puts much stress on the mind of an opponent, since there is a strong feeling (mainly because the user has suggested it into the opponent’s mind) that if heshe would move one of their legs, heshe will “fall” into the sky. This genjutsu is superb at testing which genin or academy student has the bravery of taking a calculated risk, and is most used by academy teachers, rather than in combat. There is a very easy way to defeat this genjutsu, hence its simplicity and the common use of it as a test: you only have to move one of your legs and the directions of up and down automatically right themselves.

First, the girl copied the seal and began circulating her chakra through it. Sora thought, She felt the way the handsign she was holding morphed her chakra, changed it into something else that could be used and directed. The girl imagined how it would feel like if she burst her chakra out, messing it up to release the hold of whatever genjutsu she happened to be caught in. [2/5]

Then, Sora worked on exploding her chakra, sending it out in all directions. All of it had to be internal, of course, and all of it had to be strong enough to break her out of a genjutsu. That was the hard part, gauging how much was "strong enough". With no real example she could go by, Sora was stuck with simply disorienting her chakra to the best of her abilities and hoping that it would be enough.[3/5]

Just as she was practicing on bursting her chakra, her eyes closed, she suddenly felt a sickening feeling of vertigo. Instinctively, her eyes opened, simply making her feeling of vertigo even worse as she saw the sky below her and the ground above. "A-ah!" the girl shouted with fear as she closed her eyes once more while mentally chanting, Sora remained still for several more seconds as she attempted to calm herself. [4/5]

Finally, the girl, who had been frozen to her spot from free, managed to think clearly. Sora thought, finding the silver lining in the dark cloud of starting to feel sick from feeling as if she was about to fall from the face of the Earth at any second. Concentrating on what she had just practiced with no real situation, the girl concentrated on the hand seal and then burst her chakra through it, distorting the energy throughout her body and thus releasing herself from the genjutsu. As the feeling of vertigo went away as quickly as it had come, Sora knelt on the ground, glad to be back to not feeling as if she was going to fall off into infinity. Ken took Sosay's hand and led her away from Sora and Nagisa. He didn't want this overheard.
Once alone a good ways away, he sat against a rock with her, looking over. "This is going to seem...sudden. And I know." he said softly, closing his two different coloured eyes. He sighed.
"I love you, Sosay. You know that." he said, opening his eyes. He looked into hers. "I know you do too. Now, we could be going to our deaths here...but even if we die, we're going into the history books. And...I don't like what my current title would be...Ken Raite, shinobi, boyfriend of the Raikage, Sosay Uchiha." he said. He closed his eyes again.
"I don't have a ring. We don't need to do the ceremony until we get back safely from all of this. But Sosay, I want to be remembered, if I die, or known as, if I come back, as Ken Raite...fiance of Sosay Uchiha." he said softly, opening his eyes.
"What do you think? I understand if you want to say no...I know this is a horrible time to ask that." he said quietly.

Nagisa Bunshin smiled. "What's up with you?" she asked as if she didnt know any of what just happened. She could tell Nagisa was already back at the training field. It was a fun lesson on Nagisa's side, and hopefully a useful one for Sora. Hopefully it helped her learn to keep a level head. Of course, it would probably be hard for her to fight her old allies, and Nagisa knew that pain all too well. She would have to conquer that on her own... Nagisa thought a moment. There was one thing that might just help this situation, one thing that Sora would not like her for. She drew her greatsword and slashed at Sora, slow enough that Sora could react, but fast enough it still seemed like she was attacking. Yes, Sora would indeed hate her. "You dissapoint me." She declared, and prepared herself to swing it again.
((I hope you don't mind, Nagisa is developing more quirks than i can control. Guess you gotta fight.))

His hand was the comfort she would always seek when times seemed tough and right now it felt nice and comforting. As they sat down, she remained quiet, being a good person and listening to what he had to say. Title?! Who cared about a title, as long as you existed you were a important person, no matter what, but what he said next set her into a state of shock. Her fiance... The words themselves brought a certain happiness to stir within Sosay. By the time he had reopened his eye's, he would have no choice but to stare into her face. Red and tear streaked. As soon as he mentioned ring, she had begun to weep silently. She wanted forever to be with Ken, but right now his way of putting it hurt her, just because something made her worry about a situation he didn't really cover.

Ken put his hand gently on her cheek. "I said that wrong, I'm sorry. This isn't about how I'm remembered, Sosay. It's about more than that. I love you, and that's why I asked that." he said softly. He kissed her on the cheek. "We're going into dark times. If you want to hold the ceremony before we hunt for Ukiyo we could do that...maybe improve the morale of the villagers, and of us...and you don't have to worry about me...I can take care of myself. Ukiyo is no stronger than me or you...his only true weapon is fear, and he holds no sway over me with that." he said. He kissed her on the lips, closing his eyes. "Will you do it, Sosay? Will you marry me?"

Let him know what she was feeling and thinking. As he kissed her she looked back at him, tears still falling down her cheeks. "You said nothing wrong Ken. It's what may come that leaves me like this. You make it seem as if your the only one with a chance of dying. If I were to die, then I'm leaving you behind, in pain. The chances of me not surviving are greater then anyone in this village, and you know that as much as you lie and tell yourself its not true." she paused to suck in a deep breath of air, helping to calm herself down before she continued on. "I will marry you but if I don't make it, the pain you will bear after frightens me..." she finished rather quietly. Pictures rang throughout her mind and she didn't like the thought of dying and leaving him behind to suffer.

She didn't hate the bunshin, she was just shocked. "N-Nagisa?" the girl asked as she watched carefully for any sudden movements, "I-I'm sorry?". Sora really didn't understand what was going on. How she had managed to disappoint Nagisa to the point that she was being attacked. Nagisa bunshin threw the blade at Sora, and performed a quick set of seals. "Aburame secret technique, shadow shuriken!" she declared. It was of course not a real jutsu. She merely used her bug manipulation to make an oversized shuriken and threw it at Sora. She then sprinted forward and grabbed the blade. All of this was done just slow enough that Sora could avoid it. Nagisa didn't respond to Sora's questions not wanting to do more damage than was absolutely necessary. She needed to get Sora to fight back, If she wouldnt attack someone who was visibly trying to kill her then she would be useless in the mission.

It was for the same reason that she was devastated to find out, to force herself to accept, the fact that Aoi and Sarukin had left the village. She didn't want to kill them, even now. No, she simply wanted to stop having them be her enemies. "P-please," Sora asked, fearfully. Within her, the Rokubi was reacting to the confusion that Sora was feeling, her fear, and it began to awaken, providing the girl with yet another thing to worry about.

As Sora worked on dodging the blade and then dodging the shuriken, a duck for the first attack and then a roll to the side for the next, the girl tried to figure out what she should do next. Nagisa's stony silence seemed to emphasize just how serious the fight was, simply raising Sora's fear level. Nagisa's Kage bunshin appeared and hid in a tree watching the battle between Sora and the Mushi bunshin. It was difficult for her, she could not communicate with either the mushi bunshin or the original Nagisa. She would haveto pay attention and wait for her chance.
Nagisa Bunshin slowly took the form of Dark Nagisa, and her stare became angrier. If she looked slightly less like a friend it might be enough to teach the final lesson. She noticed something was changing in Sora, but wasn't quite sure what. She decided to push on, pretty soon Sora would need to fight back. She swung the blade again, this time slightly faster than before. Sora could dodge it, but only just. Even though Nagisa had fought friends before this was incredibly hard on her. This time it was her who was playing the traitor, and even if it was for Sora's good it pained her. She didn't let it show however, and she continued to fight. "You are weak!" She declared coldly "Not everyone can be saved. Show me your strength!"

Ken sighed. He brushed some tears off her face. "Don't think about it. What is it I always say?" he asked softly. "When you think about it, it becomes true. If you think, and believe, that you're not going to make it, you won't. But if you believe that you'll make it...then you will. We can do this, Sosay. You're stronger than Ukiyo." he said softly. "Not just physically. You're stronger in every other way...in your courage, your inner strength, your compassion...all of that." he said. He kissed her gently on the lips. "We'll make it. And then we'll come back to our village and we can make sure it prospers...together." he said.
"Sosay...I don't want you to die. But I know you won't. I can feel it in my heart. And if, by some chance, you don't make it...I'll never stop loving you and I'll never, ever, forget you." he promised. He kissed her once more, and it was a long time before he spoke again because of that kiss.
"Do you want to have the ceremony before our search, or after?" he asked softly.

She knew he always believed her and that was one thing that kept her going strong. "I promise not to think that way Ken." she muttered before his kissed her again. Leaning in close, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling herself in so she could be closer. "Please wait till after." she whispered. The thoughts never left like he wanted, they would remain there planted in her mind.

Ken nodded. He moved her so she was in his lap, and watched the sun twinkle off the lake.
It was a long time before he spoke again.
"Sosay...Tell me the whole story behind you and Ukiyo's relationship...don't worry, I don't care what happened in the past, I won't be jealous or anything...I'm just curious."
