"Still....he did a pretty decent job at the stitches and it shouldn't be that much, don't you think?" Nariko wondered, as lost as he was. She could tell for a moment that the whole issue that his wound wasn't as easily exposed as hers made her lips crack in a smile. Turning her head away out of decency since he had given her plenty of it during their time together in the house, she figured it would only be fair.
However, his shocked tone of voice worried her when he was finally comfortable under the blanket. "What is it.................NO WAY!" She hissed in a breath of her own shocked disbelief, rising to her knees and pulling his leg over a bit so she could see as well. There was nothing, that horrible gash was just....gone. "It's like.....it was never there....." Amazing. Simply amazing.
"How do you feel?" Looking up to his face, her brow rose; since it was obvious he hadn't been feeling any kind of good since yesterday.

Still completely baffled he just stared at his exposed leg as if it wasn't his..it couldn't have been his. His leg had a huge gash on the side...
All he could do was stare in disbelief. He looked at the leg's feet and toes. He commanded them to move, and sure enough they did. It was his leg...but how did it heal?
The question of Nariko's finally latched on to his brain as he snapped out of his stupor, and tried to find an answer. Despite it being healed..he still felt the throb and now the nausea was back, but there was a bit more reason behind that..
"Still the same." he finally uttered, looking under the blanket trying to see if there was just some kind of trick going on or if that was in fact his own right leg he was looking at. He just refused to believe it healed literally in a few minutes

Feeling the leg move under her hold she looked to his toes as he tested out his movements, still in a shock herself. Makes me almost wish I got bit instead... She thought in amusement, reminded how he was oozing out in horrible places and decided to still side with the burns.
"Wild..." Was all she could mutter, staring down at the leg as she parted the fur a bit. "Not even a scar...." Even the fur seemed to have come back the same colour as she trailed a nail down his leg as if maybe the skin which was obviously lost was different. Yet....it was still the same. Easing herself back to a sitting position, she tapped her chin and leaned her head back to think. It just really didn't make sense.
"Was that all the stuff that was in you....maybe....but your still Ill; that doesn't make sense then." God, she hated riddles.

The little nail that went down the side of his leg..it sent strange signals to his brain..half were saying 'that feels good' and the other were saying 'what is she doing?' He sat up and put his leg back under the covers, maneuvering his pants back up and buttoning them once more.
He kicked the blanket off as he already felt unbearable heat over take him and he laid back, just staring.
Then..he heard a voice call. He looked over at Nariko. "Yes?" he asked, swearing it could have been her and pretty much..hoping that as well

Looking away for another few moments as he got dressed once again, Nariko remained mostly in her own thoughts even after he'd settled back. She was aware she'd have to add them to her notes, for anything at this point was better than nothing when it came to such a strange creature. Besides, it would make a good report to send up to her father just in case he ever happened to run into it.
"Hmm?" Nariko looked back, one brow raised as it was her turn to give him the strange look. "I didn't say anything." Well, she had, but nothing in the past few moments in her silence.
Unless he really was feeling ill enough to be delayed a few minutes.

He frowned as she told him that he didn't hear her..."Then who did I hear...." he thought out loud. Figuring it was just a fever, he shrugged it off and sat up again.
He wanted to say something, but the words were just at the tip of his tongue. Instead he only ended up staring at the space ahead of him, lost in thought. I wish I knew what that stuff was. There's an infinite number of poisons and elements that can do this, but without knowing which one it is, I won't know what to expect he thought to himself as he brought a paw to his chin in thought. Again he heard a faint whisper, but he ignored it.
"The doctor...when did he say he was coming back?" he asked out loud. Already he was loosing his sense of time, but it was nothing new. He was never able to grasp the concept since his arrival to the place. To him what felt like days could have only been hours

Stopping for a moment and listening carefully, she couldn't hear anyone else in the house. It was rather quiet aside from the outdoor songbirds singing for the day, keeping her eyes on him she wondered what exactly was going on in that mind of his. Seeing him space out before her very eyes, she allowed her own mind to drift back to her parents since she had no answers she could give Dutch.
That is until he piped back up, focusing back on the male as she pondered for a moment. "He said a few days...would give us a call if he discovered anything with that blood sample. I'd assume that could mean tomorrow or the next day."
Crossing her legs and resting her hands on her ankles, she felt like asking what he was thinking....but figured it might be best to let him work out whatever he was thinking.

He sighed at the thought that it would still be a few more days until the doctor came back. Time was moving so slowly for him, he only wondered why he hadn't adjusted after being around for so long. Perhaps it was just impatience that made things seem to take longer. He wasn't sure but whatever the case, he secretly hoped the doctor would arrive the following day. But he still had one issue. What was he going to do until then?
He brought his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around his shins, and placed his head on one of his knees. While thankful he was flexible again, he still felt cold and vaguely his head pounding from some unknown force. He remained silent for a moment while lost in thought of what he could do. Leaving wasn't an option...not now at least, but what else was there to do?

Poor guy... She thought to herself, finding her eyes drop to the ground as Nariko felt rather helpless; a feeling she was realizing was happening more often in her life now a days than she appreciated. Although he was better in a more literal sense, something still seemed to be plaguing him more than before...
Once his head was down she shifted her body to crouch, placing a paw on his shoulder. "I'll go give him a call, see if he can come any sooner, okay?" Standing up from where she sat, she figured at least trying might get the ball rolling a little faster.
Hopefully not too many morons had hurt themself like they had and he could try and make it earlier.

About ready to give out another sigh, he soon felt a paw on his shoulder. He looked over to see Nariko..he had forgotten that she was there.
He listened to he words which seemed oddly muffled, and smiled. "Thanks..I would appreciate that." he said in sincerity despite how his stomach decided to churn. He soon stood and something told him, the bathroom was not a good idea, so he casually, but quickly strode past her and quickly made his way outside. He tried to get a good distance away before doubling over and gagging up the blue stuff again.
"What the hell is this stuff" he panted, wiping his mouth of what remained. Already the liquid substance that came from his stomach hardened and started taking over the small expanses of it's territory...good thing he didn't go to the bathroom..Nariko would have a fit if the toilet or sink started looking like that

Nodding her head gently she was about to head out when Dutch quickly slipped past her and off down the hall. Heading to the door herself she looked down the hall but seen he had already gone. "Where did he go..?" She asked herself quietly but figured she had an important task to do first.
Making her way to the phone, she sat down at the table and pulled out the number from her mother's book. Dialing the number she leaned forward and waited for him to pick up, which thankfully he did. "Hello? Hey Doctor, its Nariko. Listen, is there any way you can some sooner? There's been some new developments you need to see."
Listening to what he had to say, she could feel her face fall when he explained about his findings, or lack there of. The best he could offer to get there was late that evening or more likely first thing in the morning. "Alright...thank you doctor, see you when you get here." Hanging up she rested her head in her paws and sighed, it was worth a shot, anyways. Standing back up, she headed to the hall and looked about, not hearing Dutch anywhere. "Dutch? Where did you go?" She called out, hoping for an answer and not let her fear get the best of her despite his making it 'clear'.

After feeling a bit better and less nauseous, he moseyed his way to the tree stump and sat down, feeling drained, but at least that was all he felt. Even his pain seemed to have ebbed away.
His ears twitched and he turned his head towards the house as he heard the vixen call for him. "I'm outside, Nariko." he shouted. He was lucky his voice was well carried, lord knows what kind of wuss he would have been had he not had a good voice

Catching his voice, she opened the door to the outside and let her eyes wander along the front of the house, spotting him under a tree. With a small sigh of relief, she made her way off the porch and steps and across the grass bare pawed. Reaching to stand at his side, she rested her hip against the tree trunk since her back just wouldn't do.
Not looking terribly excited about the news, she was sure he was tipped off before she could say a word.
"He'll maybe be able to swing by late tonight on his way home, but its looking more like tomorrow morning. Likewise, he found a substance in your blood, but he has no idea what it is. He'll bring what he has with him." Sighing softly she looked out along the path leading away from the house, knowing its route like the back of her paw. Of course this wandering in her vision lead her to see the thick and now hard pool of the blue substance, looking down to her companion.
"Got sick again?" She asked, figuring at least now they knew it wasn't all gone.

Looking to the approaching vixen, she could see she didn't have great news, but he still could hope. "Well..." he stated as she propped herself on the tree behind him.
Then she explained what he was half expecting and sighed. "Oh well...better late than never." he stated blandly as he leaned over on his knees. Still, the fact that he found something was not at all surprising. Had he said he didn't find anything, he certainly would have questioned the doctor.
"Yeah....it was building up.." he responded looking up at the hardened pool, which by now had grown small tentacles and was whipping around at the air. "I have a bad feeling about this Nariko." he commented as he watched the stuff seem full of life, but slowly recede and disappear as if it never existed

"Mnn, I suppose so." If she had known any other doctors she wouldn't have hesitated to call, but alas, the househould members had very different lives and thus didn't seem to have a need or connection anywhere. Well, other than her mother; since she obviously needed one with her and her brother. As that feeling of helplessness welled back into her chest, she looked over at the weary face of Dutch.
"It'll all work out, I know it."
She said simply, tilting her head back to look at the sky through the leaves above. It was all she had left, anyways; and the vixen refused to believe there was even a possibility she might lose him now; or else she wasn't sure what stupid thing she'd do.
