Ray had paused once inside the room and frowned. She closed her eyes and held out her hands as her fingers moved down the unkempt shelves. “I feel something here.” She murmured softly. It was a shiver down her spine, one that told her she knew something but she didn’t know it yet. Like Déjà vu or something. She opened her eyes and moved across the room, just fallowing her instincts. R eyes scanned book after book, object after object but it was no where to be found. Probably because she knew what she was looking for was not hers alone and Yune wasn’t present to help her find such things.

Mayumi shook her head. She was a mmere amateur and they wanted her helping out with this. Her hint of a smile leftover from the last bit of the conversation spread out across her face. She was glad she was handling the armies... the weaker ones. Taking on anything near Hokyo would be overwhelming. Fun, yes. But overwhelming; and most definately deadly.
When she caught Dark looking at her, she spoke."Dark.."She said in a lower voice. "When you said be ready to kill those who may be your friends; back in the hallway? Were you actually talking to me, or yourself? Because from what I hear... you are very fond of Hokyo. It's obvious." She shrugged. He would do anything but deny it. The truth was written around his and Daton's faces. They were very fond of their Hokyo. But at the same time, destroying him seemed like the biggest accomplishment they could success in yet. Mayumi was going back and forth between if it was odd in her mind or not for them to hold such feelings. Smiling at teh memory of their companionship. Smiling at the vision of killing their biggest and only real threat. She glanced at Blake. Her face was always blank. She never understood Her lack of emotion.
Jealousy filled Mayumi. Blake had such power, the other soldiers were forced to respect her. And the fact that she wasn't afraid to kill them at the first sign of disrespect. That was the one thing very feminine about her. She hated how sexist men were when it came to battle. She knew half the men that would take the time to talk to her could be taken down in a second. She doubted they even had any unique abilities. Speaking of, she wanted a reason to use hers. She looked down at her hand, where she still clutched her bag of arrows and her bow. Mayumi looked back up at Dark, awaiting the answer to her question.
Then, along came a fourth party. She knew his face, he was very high-up in status.. A pillar... She thought. Then it came to her. That's right! Kai, one of Daton's pillars! She thought to herself. What she did not know about Kai, was how much of a... charmer I suppose you could say. She was appauled at the nerve he had to touch Blake like that. Then the comment about Mayumi herself along with Blake. She was slightly too chocked to be charmed by him, but her face was already flushed. Her eyebrows furrowed. She could only imagine Dark's approach.

Bandi was equally amazed as the others. He was expecting a refuge, but it seemed that he found a shrine of some sort.
Ray mentioned that she felt something, and then he noticed it himself. There was some force that was calling upon them. At least, that's what he thought.
He walked over to the relics as Evan was looking over the books.
He recognized the symbols such as the red swirl of Hokyo's seat and the green firefly on his seat. There were others as well, such as a black wolf and another of the sun and moon together.
He naturally approached his own symbol. It had an odd looking staff that looked like a bronze helix, topped by a red orb which had a pair of blades attached like wings. "The green healer's staff..."

Dark glanced at Mayumi, she was the questioning the type. “I meant both because one day you may have to kill me.” He said without a single regret, he knew the truth of battle. That no matter how loyal you were to someone, you would likely face them one day that was the rule of soldiers. He watched Kai with a rather amused look, another man that he had found an interest in. “Well I would gladly let you take Blake, she is a bit too cold for my liking, but I fear my women chasing has given change to me having a son.” Dark remarked, his eyes starring calmly at the other man.
Daton laughed at the three of them. “If you were on time Kai I would’ve allowed you to dance with any woman you would like, if you like I can still suggest Blake have another dance.” He spoke with a joking manner in his voice, his true colors were a mixture between his humor and that of the mad driven King he was. Though he did find humor in keeping his Five on their toes, it was hard to keep Dark surprised so in finding the information about his son. Blake was a rather easy target, provide kindness and she becomes lost, Kai was similar to deal with insults. Hokyo was one of the few that were hard to find what pushed his buttons without ruining his relationship with him. Though he guessed that didn’t matter either, even not doing anything he ruined it.

Kei could not help but chuckle “you know me, M’lordship. If I’m not late then I’m early.” He half a** saluted the man because that was how he was. Many would probably fear for their lives if they acted the way he did around Daton or Blake…. And hell even Dark sometimes but that was just his personality. He broke the ice, then the spines. He looked to the other generals and then their boss and shrugged his shoulders “nah, it’s no fun if they’re given to me. I like a good fight.” Blake could only stare at the man with utter distaste but that didn’t’ stop him.
He looked to the birthday girl…er that wasn’t it, ah the welcoming ,that was what it was right? He gave a low bow to the woman and offered her nothing but the purest of smiled “welcome to our ranks madam, it is always nice to see a woman with a fighter’s spirit.” He was so use to dealing with Blake that he was beginning to think all women were like the ice queen but he wouldn’t let that show.
He turned back to Daton and tilted his head “You said no attacking or attempted assassination, correct? What about a visit? I’d like to get a good look before we go into power savin mode.” He held up his hands, wrists together and tilted his head to the side ”I promise to be a good boy boss.” He moved one hand and made a blue X across his heart. It remained there for a moment before fading “cross me beatin heart.”

Daton's smile spread across his face and looked around the room, it seems many people were watching them. They had not seen this many of the Five in a single room in a while, or at least to those that didn't belong in the land of which Daton only showed his loves. "Kei I feel that you are going to lie to me, but I will allow you to go as you are, however I warn you now my little boy, that you need to remain the treaty, we don't want to give Hokyo any reason proceed before my own plans are completely set." He said as the little boy, all the while enjoying the looks of excitement from the Lords. If they knew more about the army of the rebels then they would likely have a better chance.

The man laughed and placed a hand on his stomach to contain his excitement “Don’t worry Ma’Lord, I promise I will no touch a hair on any of their heads.” he just wanted to say hi, see what Hokyo was doing and maybe find a good looking girl to spend his night with. Of course one look at Dark made him grin a bit more “and that is why the adults always said to use protective methods before sleeping with a woman. I thought you were the smart one Dark!.” His tone said he was joking and in all actuality he was. But he turned and gave another boy to Daton before heading towards the door.
He wondered briefly if Hokyo would play a game of chess with him, but he actually couldn’t remember if he knew how, either of them. Kei had put on so many masks, become so many different people that sometimes it was hard to find himself but he always did in the end and he supposed that was the good. He paused and ran back to the group “Sorry Blakie, I don’t wanna walk so I’ll barrow a bit of your power kay?” He didn’t’ want for her to answer, he just placed his hand on her shoulder, held up a peace sign and vanished in a gust of snow.
Blake was left behind, her expression as plain as ever and she slowly looked up at Daton. “you would trust him to go, but not me?” As simple as the statement seemed it bothered her somewhere deep inside that Daton wold trust the other to just run off where ever he wanted while Blake, who had unquestionable loyalty, was stuck here. But she shook it off, called over one of her men and stole his glass of wine. She downed this and went to join her men, accepting the path fate had brought her.

Daton smiled and looked at Blake with a rather amused mood. "My dear Blake, its cause I trust you I don't let you go, you would not harm a single person, you wouldn't do anything to cause Hokyo trouble but being there." He said with a wave of his hand and a servant placed another glass of wine in his hand and he looked over the edge towards Blake.
"I don't want to cause a war, but I want Hokyo to assume we have the ability to corner him at any given time and our dear Kei will make sure that the Red Rebels remember their place." Daton said setting the glass down on his throne's arm rest. He had never planned for Kei to be a good child.

Blake blinked a few times with unease before she gave in and nodded. She would never understand Daton. He told them not to fight but sent Kai knowing that he would start something. Of course knowing Kai he would keep his promise and he wouldn’t physically touch any hair but he had chosen his words carefully and it was truly unknown what he had planned. But she tilted her head and closed her eyes. “That is why you are the leader, and we, your subordinates.” He had the plan and she was there simply to carry it out. The stronger prayed upon the weaker and they preyed upon the defenseless. What a wonderful world she lived in.
When his feet touched ground Kai shivered “Lordy. Lordy Lordy. Now where bees i?” He spoke with almost a southern draw but it was most likely yet another mask he had set in place. He had no idea where the blizzard had taken him but upon asking one of the elderly ladies he got his answer. He was in Esta, there for he was in the right place. After that he didn’t bother with asking anyone. Anything. He could find Hokyo on his own, he just wasn’t going to bother looking if it was the wrong town.
His fingers came together and he made a few signs, circling his fingers in the air and tracing some invisible pattern. To many he looked insane but to those who knew, well that was another story. Tattoos on his arms burned with the need to be exposed but he ignored them. He had a feeling of what Daton had planned thus far so when a blue light shone before him in a halo like pattern he grinned. The red head set out in search of the other “oh me, oh my. Looks as if he got you good Ho~Key~O” Trust kei to make fun of the situation with the pronunciation of someone’s name, In his defense that was how it was spelled…. Without the E of course.
When he got close enough the circle grew in size but he did not advance. There was another in his path. He would let that guy have his time with Hokyo for now. Kei used some slight of hand to steal himself an apple and leaned against a tree, choosing to watch from afar.

Bandi looked to his two companions in the chamber.
"I'm going to go inform Hokyo about this space. I think it would be important that I inform him of the existence of this shrine."
He carefully place the staff back in it's place.
"I must ask that you refrain from touching anything too much."
With that, he reached the foot of the stairs. But before he ascended the stairs, he paused. He slowly turned around and eyed Evan and Ray with a suspicious eye.
"I may leave you two alone, but I trust you two would behave yourselves."
Before any of them could protest, Bandi sped up the stairs.

Ray took a slow breath ’Yun she reached out to her other half as they always had that kind of connection. It was as if they were of one mind and body just two separate beings. This is why they sought to find out the truth of their past, who they were and who they were meant to be. Back in the town, strangely enough Yunari heard her call and she stopped in mid step, closed her eyes and tried to find Ray. Once the darker woman felt the presence on her mind she could also feel the strength of something else. She turned and her fingers reached out as they tingled with a new power. If one were to really look at Ray during this very moment they would see the blond haired spirit right over her own body, Yune was with her in soul even when not in body.
Her pale fingers brushed over the binding of a book, atop it rested a gold seal, the sun with a crescent moon covering half of that sun. moving down below her eyes grew attached to the small symbol “ Ankh?” she questioned and the blond half of her soul nodded and spoke using Ray’s mouth “Key of life, eternal life, a symbol that links the past with the present. “ There was a pause and Ray shook her head and snatched her hand back “What is going on?” It was at that moment she lost her connection with Yune and returned to being simply herself.

Soma nodded his head once, he knew better but he couldn’t help think of this had been what he wanted; he hoped he liked his father. “Light, can we skip the bath?” He suggested, he had heard the soldiers call her something else, but as far as he cared she was just the same woman that he had met a few hours ago. He couldn’t help but feel joy, fear, and excitement. Glancing at the soldiers, they were making short work of the tents already, along with having horses; the ride to the Capital was only possibly about a day away. So with horses would speed the progress.

Soma looked around a bit, he wasn’t sure but he felt like someone had used power around him. He couldn’t help but feel aura’s though even those of the weak soldiers that were around him, so even when powers were used to travel he could feel the aura of the person. He decided to ignore the feel, whatever it was long gone. “Coming.” He shouted and ran over to Light, his hair whipping away from his face and coming over his shoulders. Slowing as he got to Light he smiled at her, as though nothing was wrong. “What is it Light?” He asked looking at the horse with a rather interesting look.

Hokyo Cumen Red Rebels
Hokyo had just slipped on his shirt when an older member of the council came running into his tent, screaming at that. Hokyo slammed his hand across the man’s face; Ameena stirred in her sleep but did not wake. This was a good thing for the other council member. Removing his hand, the man starred at Hokyo and began tearing up. He explained about how the man that had been hired had attacked him. He sighed rather annoyed with such things. Telling the man to sit in his chair and to not make a sound, Hokyo walked out from his tent.
He sure he looked odd, standing there in the way of some assassin but he could only guess what it looked like. He was unarmed, wearing not a single piece of armor and his right arm bandaged to hide the curse that Daton had placed on him. He simply stood there, having a strange feeling that the man would be able to find the him without any help, but he wasn’t going to allow him to enter the tent, if words did not work, violence would, he did this not cause he cared for the old man, but for Ameena.
Sci stopped looking straight at Hokyo. He knew this man or at least what he had been told. His description was uncanny and his bright red hair. Sci stopped for only a second it was to gauge if Hokyo would stand in his way to defend the old senile fool." Bring me the old man. He owes me a large amount of money and I owe him a stab in the calf and one inbetween his ribs." Sci wasnt stupid he was a calculating man." I dont have to enter your tent by the entrance if I had wished I could have already taken the old man from inside. I know who you are oh general of Daton. And from that I know you are not a weak man. I respect power all demons even half breeds as myself do. That is why I do not barge into your tent. I could sense your power when I entered the town. I am sorry though if I seem short with you. I am tired and I am in a mood for blood. The debt of blood to a demon is not one I wish upon any man. But I am a half breed so I am trying to be civil. BRING HIM TO ME!!"

Mayumi tried not to roll her eyes... but of course she failed. She was glad when Kei left. It was one stress not to worry about. No... stress was the wrong word. Mayumi shrugged the thought off and turned her attention to Daton. "I don't mean to sound rude or forward, but what am I to do in the meantime, My Lord? I have been training, but is that all I should do in the mean time?" She asked, hoping there was something to add. Trees were an awful past time, but then again who was she to complain? Dark chose her as his undersub, she had joined practically the highest of Daton's ranks. But to wait for aproximately a year, she might have possible difficulty.
Mayumi's mood remained light. The other people in the room seemed to all be enjoying themselves, as was she. Mayumi wanted to laugh. She could only imagine the comparison of them to the Red Rebels. They must be on their toes, waiting for Daton to strike, now that he had sent Kei in. While they themselves stood within a party. She almost felt sorry for them. Almost.
