❂Sora simply stood in place for a while as she tried to keep her emotions in check. The meeting with Sosay had been a lot more jarring than she had expected it to be and now her emotions were all in whack. Fear was rampant and it was causing the Rokubi to bristle. Sora could feel the demon fighting to get out within her . Closing her eyes, the girl forced herself to calm down, doing nothing but breathing deeply for a couple minutes.

Finally, though, Sora opened her eyes and flashed a smile at Ken. "Well," the girl suggested in a cheerful voic, "I guess we had better tell everyone to meet Sosay-sama, eh? I think it'll be best if we split up," and without even waiting for an answer, she skipped down the hallway.☪

Nagisa entered her apartment with a sense of purpose. She needed to refill her energy and then go train some more. Even though it was a scouting mission it could prove dangerous or be as simple as standing. Either way it was better to have as many tricks up ones sleeve as possible. Nagisa wouldn't fail to protect her team. The dinner she made was simple, but delicious. Pepperoni pizza, her favorite. With it she had a steaming cup of tea to wrap things up. After allowing a moment she grapped her coat and went back towards the training field. There was just one stop she needed to make first...

Nagisa walked into her apartment and left the door open. She needed to rest but first she needed to do something. She sat down at her table and scribbled out two letters.


She slipped it under Haruka's door, then returned to write the second letter.



A cloud of bugs picked up this note and took it to the Raikage's office. After shutting the door, Nagisa slipped into her bed and drifted fast asleep.

Ken's mechanical leg clunked down the hallway. The designer sat in his room, and looked up. He knew the sound. He knew the distinct sound of every mechanical device he'd ever built, from Ken's leg to the left arm of his son, before his death. Sure enough, when the designer's door opened, Ken was standing there. He pulled out his notebook from inside his jacket and put it down, a page open.
"I need you to do this." Ken said. The designer chuckled. "You took longer than most. Most shinobi who get prosthetics have them weaponized without minutes." "Yeah, it took a bit of creativity with this one, Sensei. It wasn't like I could just have a flip out blade to stab people with." he said, causing the old man to chuckle. "Fair enough. These are good ideas, very practical." "Thank you." Ken said, popping his leg out of its socket and grabbing a crutch that the old man held out.

The designer moved to his work bench and set the leg down. "This will take a while. I suggest you get some rest." he said. Ken sat down and picked up his note book, flipping through it. He dozed off, only to be roused a good few hours later. The leg was held out to him. The back was covered by a piece of metal. "It's done." the designer said, explaining the weapons and how to use them as Ken fit it. "Want to test it?" "Sure." Ken said. He thought about the toe blades, then tapped his toes twice on the floor. The blades folded out, snapping together with a soft click. "Awesome. I owe you big time." "You owe me by putting this leg to good use. You defend this village with it, and you don't use the weapons to take innocent lives." the man said. "You have my word." Ken said, standing up to leave.
"I wish you good luck." "Good fortune to you." Ken said in return with a smile, heading out.

Nagisa walked down the halls of the apartment and slipped a note under Sora's door. She had said that she was going to go rest a bit, and this would be where she would do it.

Orders from the Raikage, you have a mission.
To bring order back to Kumogakure we need to start by rebuilding. The Ramen shop is a key part of the village, it allows tired ninja to get a quick bite, and brings in just a little more income to our village. You are to report to the wreckage ASAP, the rest of your team will meet you there and assist you in the quest.

((It might be a good idea to get some mission points in. I get a feeling the chuunin exams will be sooner rather than later.))

Nagisa left the area toward the Ramen shop, assuming that was where Sora had gone as well.
