"A pleasure to meet you. And please, Fylk only. We aren't on any ship right now." He tapped his glasses once again, returning them to their normal opacity. This was an oddity, that was for sure.

"Fylk then. Can you tell me why you seem to be so interested in my scooter? Other than the fact you've likely never seen one?" Miana asked. If he had any sort of answer it might belay his fears on the matter.

"Well Duh.." Meushi elbowed Miana slightly in the side. "It's a Air SCOOTER. I've never even seen anything like it. So of COURSE he's interested. Geeez..." She rolled her eyes and then looked at the other man, Fylk. "Names Meushi." She nodded and put her hand out to shake his. "And You can ask me all the questions you want. I've been to Denia before." She eyed Miana and then smirked.

Fylk took the hand and shook it heartily.

"Nice to meet you too as well. But." He turned to look down the dock. "We should get going."

Meushi gave a sigh of relief when their hands didn't stick. "Ok ok, boys....let's see...so the university? Yeah that's a good idea." She nodded. "Lets seeeeeeeeeeee...." She did a little twirl and pointed somewhere to her right. "That away!!" She turned to hop on her ship and turned to look at the others. "Mi-Mi get your a** on or you're walking! Fly You meeting us there? I offer you a ride but you got your own ship sooooooo...GET YOUR BUTT ON!!" She shouted at Mi-Mi before giggling and running to her flight room.

Miana sighed. Meushi was nice, but perhaps not the cleverest of the pack. And her interruption had allowed Fylk to avoid the question altogether.
Having little choice in the matter at this point he'd let his suspicions of the man lay as they were for now.
He climbed into the ship as Meushi started yelling again and rolled his eyes.

"I'm sure we'll meet you there." He said to Fylk in a neutral tone.

"WEE! BYE FLY!!!" She shouted at Fylk, not noticing the odd cold shoulder Miana gave him She giggled once more and then closed all her doors. She jumped in her diver;s chair and flipped a switch. Speaking a deep but overly polite voice she began to talk. "Uh this is your flight captain for today. It uh looks like the skies are clear and we're all ready to take off. Please take a seat on one of the large cargo boxes not marked Fragile. This may be a bumpy flight so if you puke you have to clean it up...oh and one more thing...DON'T TOUCH MY STUFF!!" She shouted in her regular voice. She giggled and began to flick a bunch of different switches. Her anchor pulled it's self into her ship causing it to now slowly float up. Another switch and her wings folded out and soon they were over Fong's. She clapped her hands. "Alright." She looked back over her shoulder at Miana. "Wanna take the easy way...or the fun way?" The grin she gave him would give demons chills.

Miana cocked an eyebrow at Meushi's humorous pre-flight speech, but sat himself down on a crate close the front so he could see out the front window.

"Dare I even ask what the fun way is?" He replied. He had a feeling that she was going to do it that way no matter how he answered the question.

"Hee hee hee!" She giggled as she looked at him and then jerked forward and took off with a zoom. Instead of just flying towards the university she zipped and zapped from here to there in speedy zooms. She flew around the Port of Denia, going down below it's roots. Slowing down to view the massive life support of the port better she just missed a large falling rock that had finally become loose of one of the roots. "WOOP!" She jerked right and then left and then began to do a spiral up. Zooming right above the roofs of the town, until she had the ship pointing straight up. She could hear the objects in her back sliding some from this move but she didn't even bother to look over her shoulder. She then began to speed up flying near the trunk of the massive tree until she zoomed passed the tree's top. When they were higher than the tree itself, she straighten out again until the ship was once more level and then she began to slow down some. She noticed a few smaller objects near her were beginning to float. "WOOP! Went a little to high for gravity. Oppies!!" She giggled and then began to fly the ship in a small circle until she zipped straight down flying fast towards the school. She could feel the pressure push against her face but she didn't slow until a minute before the school came into sight. With a keep snap of her wrist on her flight whee she turn the ship, causing it to slow just a bit until she made it stop. Hovering over the school, she flipped the switch to lower her anchor. She felt her ship slowly lower until it landed on the docking area for ships.

(OOC, Im moving to the University Post now so if you would like to post there you can, or you can post here, its up to you dudes!)

Fylk shrugged, turing to walk down the dock. He had always preferred to moor a little ways away from the other ships. There really wasn't any reason for it, just the way he was. But it did give him time. Such a small C.Tree. Was such a thing really possible? Normally a tree grew in size as it aged. That was one of the theories behind what formed a Mother Tree. Once a Tree gained enough in size and age, it started to bud off smaller trees. However, a tree which perhaps did not grow in size but levitation density?

Reaching his ship, the young looking captain pushed these ponderings from his mind. Skipping lightly on the deck of the Dawn's Edge just aft of her forward drag foil mounting* he placed a hand upon her smooth rails. Leaning over the edge he checked the mooring lines and for a moment a smile crossed his lips. She was a beauty to behold. All done in silver and rosewood the ship's hull seemed to glow even in the soft light of dawn. The crew was on shore leave, but she was a small ship and her captain had no fear that he would be able to move here without help. But that would require that he was in the pilot box. Throwing off the mooring line he headed aft.

Unlike most ships, the Dawn's Edge's pilot box wasn't mounted to the deck of the ship. Instead it was set into the rear sweep, just between the two sets of stairs that carried various personal up on the sweep. To enter it, you had to go through a hatch in the sweep itself. It may have been strange, but she was a strange ship. Placing his hand upon the hatch Fylk undid the lock with his mind. It slid to the side and he slipped in. There it hang, a leather harness with countless lines running out from it. Ducking under the lines he slipped into the harness and did up the buckles.

Floating free, Fylk undid two lines clipped to his chest and fixed them to the floor. Forward the drag foil unfolded. It filled with air quickly to pull them away from the dock. As the ship came alive small glowing dials appeared on the glass dome before him. Thrust flow as good, rotational angel of the C.Tree engine was good. Wind was low and about a half knot. Good weather. Away from the dock, he pulled two gloves from the back of his harness and slipped them on. Small, slightly luminous lines ran from each finger into the sides of the pilot box. Flexing his hands the captain checked the controls. Everything checked out.

Pulling a line attached to the back of his shoulders, he opened the thrust vents on the back of his ship, loosed the aft control foils and took off.

Being alone wasn't the most exciting. It wasn't particularly fun, and it made some people go crazy. However, after so many years of solitude, Abi had become accustomed to it. She's learn to live and love the lonely lifestyle she has come used to today.

Walking into a noodle shop, full of people, she was now at odds with herself. She had never been the best at social interaction, but her paranoid nature and odd quirks didn't help. In retrospect, Abi couldn't remember precisely how she had come across the grand Port Denia. A lot like a large portion of her life, it was an odd blur of memory and fantasy that often seemed to get mixed up.

She shook her head and walked into the crowded place. The rooms acoustics allowed for a humming buzz sound to encompass the room due to the conversation. Trying not to look at the others, she sat down at a table she found to be empty. The first time being around people in, perhaps, 7 months? All she could do was mutter quietly to herself a sarcastic, "Yay."
