Chris
As he walks along, Chris nods in recognition of Robyn's words, speaking up to say "Tournament for me too" when asked what he would sign up for. The more time he spent with her, the more comfortable and natural the conversation became. But not only that, he was starting to realize that there was something more to it. She wasn't just some girl he was attracted to, there was something more.

As the two walked along toward the dome, they continued talking about their pasts as trainers. Chris was pleased to discover they had so much in common, even hailing from the same region. Eventually the pair arrived at the dome, and a short time later were registered in the tournament.

Upon exiting the building Chris looked off into the distance, there was a small secluded beach that he decided would be perfect. In a momentary burst of confidence created by his growing emotions, Chris reaches over and takes Robyn by her hand. He nervously asks her, "Do you wanna go over there?" A smile crosses his face.


Ryuken
Ryuken walks through the cave, it was very dark, cut off from sunlight at it's well hidden entrance. I can feel the aura, something is here. But I can't see, there's no way I can keep going. I'll get lost. But whatever that aura is, it's underground. Could there be a network of caves under this island? Doesn't matter, I can explore them without light. Maybe I should just head back.

Just then, Ryuken heard a voice coming from deep inside the cave. He stood listening for a moment as it drew closer and closer. It belong to a human, or two humans rather. The Lucario quickly dashes toward the entrance, stopping once he gets outside to back-flip up and plant himself against the wall of stone above the entrance. Holding his body against the stone with pure aura energy, he waits for the owners of the voices to show themselves.

Thomas nodded and walked up to sign up the card, "Yes, I will like to sign in too. I'm signing in Jigglypuff, Ninetales, Staraptor, and Gengar." He wrote their names on the card along with his and handed the person his card. "I will wait around for the announcement."

Thomas blushed a little and then nodded, "Sure, I don't see why not." Then Thomas turned away and called out to his pokemon, "Everyone, we are going to eat." Soon all his pokemon came heading toward Thomas and Runt was riding on Tail's head. Soon everyone surrounded them and then he turned to Johnny, "Are you going to release your pokemon?"

Thomas smiled, "I don't do the contest and stuff, though I have been thinking I should start doing it. I been to a few and I enjoy watching, but normally, I'm just a trainer. My first pokemon was actually Angel. Right buddy?" Jigglypuff ran over to Thomas and jumped on his shoulder, "Jiggly!" "She saved me when I went to get my first pokemon, so I chose her. What about you?"

Ortus Island

Kerri smiled at Roland's agreement to go to the Pokecenter. "Now, if I were a Pokecenter," she wondered aloud, slowly spinning in a circle to look around, "where would I be?" She stopped spinning thoughtfully as her gazed crossed the Battle Arena. "There, I think. There's gonna be an awful lot of injured Pokemon over there. It'd be the logical place to put it. And we can register for the tournament while we're there." Her grin widened, and she gently took Roland's hand once more, and began leading him there.

"Heal my Pokemon, please," she requested of the nurse once they found their way to the Pokecenter. The nurse took the proffered Pokeballs and told Kerri they'd be ready in a couple minutes. Kerri spent the time whistling cheerfully and twiddling her thumbs, before shrugging at Roland, blushing with an embarrassed smile on her face. "I normally wait for my Pokemon to be healed alone," she explained. "Just a habit; I have to entertain myself."

"Your Pokemon are healed and all ready to go," the nurse told Kerri, and the girl gratefully accepted her Pokeballs back.

"Thank you!" she called as they left the Pokecenter. Once outside and in the Battle Arena again, Kerri looked around at the many trainers waiting to register or battle. They all look so confident and competent, she thought to herself worriedly. I don't know if I can match up. "Pretty fierce competition," she told Roland, nervousness leaking into her voice despite her efforts to hide it.

Thomas laughed, "Am I really that obvious about being gay?" Jigglypuff giggled while still on Thomas's shoulder. "Well, hard to really say. I guess I want a guy that is sweet and caring. Someone honest who I can trust and someone that can make me laugh. I really don't know what else to say." He looked over to his pokemon and it looked like Tails was teaching Runt how to fight. Runt shot out his vine and started to whip Tails but he was easily dodging. Then Tails opened his mouth, sending a stream of fire. Runt jumped and barely dodged the attack. Thomas smiled and called out, "Good job Runt. Tails, you are a great teacher." The blue Ninetales nodded, "Ninetales!" Thomas suddenly got an idea, "Hey. while we are waiting, how about we give my little bulbasaur a look at real battling? Four on four?"

Thomas turned bright red when he said this, "I usually don't do bets but I think I can do it this one time. I don't really know what I want to do for my side of the bet." He looked into the sky, and trying to decide whom to bring out first. "Well Raptor, let me see what you can do." Staraptor flew up beside Thomas, "Star-Raptor!" Thomas nodded and turned to Johnny, "Ready?"
