"I love basketball," Morgan replies. "As for what my powers are, no, I don't mind talking about them. I was actually waiting for someone to ask. My abilities are of a darker nature. Literally. They revolve around the manipulation of shadow, and a general absence of light. Part of it is a bit of the opposite of Matt here. I can form shadow into corporeal objects, but nothing complicated.
My other ability involves moving through shadows, sort of like teleporting, but completely silent. I can also see a lot better in the dark than most people. Shadow powers are useless if all you end up doingis bumping into walls and stepping on toes.
As for agility or stuff like that, for me, it came from years of Ninjutsu practice. Without shadow, my powers are kind of useless, so it helps to have some sort of martial arts training."

"I'm up for a game of basketball. But Penny has an unfair advantage. Oh yeah, it seems like I've got a great group to work with here." He glanced at Matt. "Pretty much, I can control light. Amplify it, absorb it, bend it. If you ever need more light to do something, just give me a yell. And we've got a nice medical facility here, so if you want X-Rays, just ask Mr. McCoy. And I think I've got a ball somewhere, give me a second to go find it." He said, exited about getting to do something were he wouldn't have to use his powers, and he might get to feel normal. He ran off towards the mansion and appeared a second later, bouncing a ball around. "I'm not so great, but I love to play." He said just as the ball slipped away from him.

Penny snickered a bit when Jamie said she had an unfair advantage.
"I could always play with one hand behind my back," She smiled, "Or I can give the other team my Rogue clone to keep it fair."
They nodded around and decided it would only be fair since Penny couldn't exactly turn off her abilities. Jamie bounced the ball around between them.
"Who wants to be a captain?" Penny asked.

The girls entered a nice appartment in a nice and peaceful neighborhood. Wanda never thought she could live in a place like that. Actually, she was wondering if it was all a dream and what was the catch. But it was neither.
The cloaked figure removed her hooded cape and threw it on the sofa. She had long blond hair and deep green eyes. She and Wanda were about the same age.
"Well that was quite a meeting," said the blond girl to Wanda with a smile. "I knew you would try to kill him but I'm glad you didn't."
Anger filled Wanda's eyes at the mention of her failure to kill Pietro. "He deserves to die. He abandonned me! Just like him!!"
"You hate him because of his ressemblance with your father. Wanda, he was a child just like you back then. I don't ask you to forgive him. But you have to control those urges to kill him in public. It would be best to kill him in private."
Wanda was confused. "You're weird. One second, you say to let him live and after that, you say I can kill him. Make up your mind Freya!"
Freya smiled to the Scarlet Witch. "You make your own future Wanda. I can't stop you from following the path you chose. But I can help you to choose what's best for you. There are many things you don't know that I cannot tell you. However, the last thing I want you to become is a murderer."
"Then you don't understand me," answered Wanda. "You lied to me. Just like everyone else!!!" The furniture started to shake but Freya moved her hand and everything returned to normal.
"I wasn't lying when I told you I was understanding you. I'm just not saying what you wanted me to say. That's all."
"This isn't going to be a normal relationship..." said Wanda with a long sigh.

OOC: Well, I guess I'll go explore the mansion...

Victor sighed as hurried over to another set of hallways, having been wonder for a while and totally lost about this place, he wonders who was talking to him before in his head. Seriously... I might be going nuts... Walking down the hallway, he opened doors and look in, finding no one inside, he closed the door. "Hello?" Wondering how she's doing, Victor sighed again. "Anyone home?" This place is hugh... Walking out into an open space, he found himself back where he started from, the foyer area. "Oh great." He muttered as he made his way up the grand set of staircase and poked around at the rooms. "No one here?" He called out again as he just decided to go back down to the foyer area.
Once there, he walked over to the side wall and lean against it. Closing his eyes as he tries to seek out a network connection like he did before but without an actual computer or eelctronical device to focus on it got pretty hard trying to maintain his mind over the computer network he had discovered before. Deciding to give up, Victor slumped down against the wall, staring in front of him blankly, wondering if all this is a dream and that he was actually inside like a mental institude or even a prison because he's a mutant. Life is over really... What more can I do?

Matt watched stood there for a few moments before nodding, he may have never played basketball before but he had watched it quiet a few times and it seemed fun.
"I'll play but no way am I being a captain."
What Jamie had said to him was still bouncing around in his skull, seems like maybe he would fit in here.

Sierra leaned against the outside wall of her apartment, eyes closed as she mentally berated herself for a number of things that couldn't exactly be listed. The mutants she had seen earlier had left and she was now alone outside with police sirens wailing in the distance. With a sigh, she stood up straight and walked back into her apartment where she immediately went back into her bedroom, locking the door behind her. She flopped down on her bed with a soft thump and stared up at the ceiling as she recalled the events of the past hour. This didn't exactly improve her mood any.
"Let's go over the facts," she muttered, her voice only heard by the half-packed boxes in her room. "Fact number one, this apartment bites. Fact number two, the gas station across the street is on fire because of some mutants who obviously live around here. Fact number three, one of them noticed me. Not good."
She reached up, grabbed a pillow from the top of her bed and tossed it up towards the ceiling only to have it fall back on her face with a muffled thud.
"Fact number four, gravity stinks."

"I'll be a captain," Kurt said after he and his brimstone odor popped onto the scene, "I'll take Matt on my team."
Kurt stole the basketball out of Jamie's hands with his tail and spin in on the point.
"And you think I have an unfair advantage," Penny put her hand on her hip and then thought for a moment, "Hey guys, I'll be right back. Just tell me who's team I'm on. I'm goign to go inside and get us some water bottles."
Penny ran into the house and stopped short when she saw a young man sitting against the wall. He seemed completely lost. She stooped down in front of him, "Hey, I'm Penny. What's your name?"

Matt couldn't help it, he was staring. The tail thing was not something he had ever seen and it had deffinetly shocked him.
"Ok then unknown one."
He walked over to Kurt, standing beside him and waiting to see who would end up on which team.
ooc: Meh, just wanted to post quickly before I had to get off to the hospital.

"I choose Rogue for my team," Morgan says as he quickly grabs the ball from the tip of Kurt's tail, rolls it along his shoulders, then spins it on the tip of his finger.
"Showoff," Kurt muttered under his breath.
Rogue silently walked over to stand beside Morgan.
"Your pick," he says to Kurt.
"All right, I pick Penny when she gets back," he says, grinning.
"Fair enough."
