Background
Born to the most loving family a herla could ask for, Hecate spent most of her youth with her siblings and parents. After a few scary encounters (mostly because she didn't have the skills to converse with other herla), she decided to focus on her magic and herb lore, retreating into the deep forest. Eventually missing her family overcame her want to study and she returned to the hartlands.
