Veronica dismissed the whole serious conversation. Mostly because now they were on the topic of strippers. Male strippers.
Okay, well. "Maybe you're bi? To hell if I know." She shrugged, walking towards town still, at a normal pace. Or normal for humans- That is.
"Hunter doesn't have to know? Seriously? What? Is this some sort of trap, lead me into a strip bar...get some dirt on me and break me and Hunter up?" Veronica rolled her eyes as he gave her a look. "He really can't get that mad, right? Honestly, most strippers are gay anyways. And they are just strippers. I'm not ******** anyone of them. I wouldn't want to. Its just for fun, get your mind off things? Right?"
Okay, so Veronica was probably one of the most indecisive people in the world. She could go from thinking one thing about a situation to a totally different thing in a heartbeat.

Raffaele and Veronica had both left. Quick, fast, and in a hurry. Hunter was still in the kitchen freaking out over nothing (man had to learn to keep his cool.... then again if he did David would be out a job... anyways) Amelia was patting Max on the shoulder and that left him standing in the middle of the room. Where he very seldom liked to be. He was more of a, in the shadows till someone needs me or something interesting popes up, kind of guy. So, he just dissapeared.
Although... what did happen when a demon dissapeared? Did they just become invisible? Did the go to another place? In all actuality, they just phased over into their own little plane of space. Directly parallel with the one Hunter and Veronica inhabited but a place where only demons (and those they chose to bring ) existed. Sure, they could teleport all over the place, but the... Well lets just call it the demon realm to make it simple... was the place they spent most of their time.
So David was now going to his own home, directly parallel to Hunters house, only it was a three bedroom cabin that just kind of moved around with the demon. It was quiet, which most people wouldn't expect, but it was usually that way. After all, this was a place of escape from many of their tedious jobs. Most demons were in the "supernatural game" they hunted, took care of, protected, the more supernatural beings of the other realms. Just like David, and Amelia's soon to be, job was demanding and sometimes quiet difficult depending on the charge, so were the others.

Everyone has an opinion about love, what it is, what it is not,
how, why and when. Everyone, from the breastfed babe to the
night creature. Love is as personal, and as universal, as we
desire to create it. For me, love is defined by my immortal beloved,
whom I sought for centuries. Hunter, oblivious to Veronica and Raffaele's conversation about strippers, was still grumbling around the kitchen. He didn't even know why he was so on edge. He hated people... and there were a lot of people... a lot of drama inducing people here. And Hunter hated drama, didn't deal with it very well either....
So, he was gonna be the good little vampire and focus on the pasta, bringing a bowl from the cupboard out big enough to serve a families meal out of, he filled it to the top and poked his hand out of the kitchen door, pasta bowl held tantalizingly in his hand. It was for Max.
Veronica, my soul, my eternal beloved.

XOh hey, Veronica had thought to criminalize herself before Raffaele even got the chance to think.
He stuck a finger to the corner of his mouth, and very thoughtfully said, "You're right I should probably do that." Then the versipellis gave the vampire a look that basically said 'don't be stupid'.
Raffaele shrugged as he continued in the direction of town.
"I mean in theory I have a "boyfriend", but that doesn't mean I can't go to strip clubs get lap dances and have drunken hook ups." Those were the best weren't they? "If you want a happy marriage I wouldn't go sleeping around but if you're freaked out about what Hunter will say just keep him in the dark...he's a dumb blonde as it is, he won't figure it out!" Well...as mean as that was, it was really true. Besides, Raffaele figured he deserved a lap dance right now and dammit he was not getting one alone!
"Veronica I'll tell you exactly what's going to happen." He turned to her, apparently confident that he was psychic now.
"We are going to go to a club that I know. We are going to get drinks. I am going to get really drunk then both you and I are going to sit by the stripper with the nicest a**. After we throw him some singles or whatever I will pay for two lap dances." He stuck two fingers out, "One for me and one for you. After that, because I will be very tipsy I will flirt relentlessly with the stripper till he decides I'm cute enough to make out with...you'll either be uncomfortable or turned on by our sexy man on maness then we'll both be horny and we will come back to your house. You'll probably want to go do it with your man or some s**t, and I'll be too drunk to deal with good old Max."
Wow Raffaele had this really figured out.

Yo, what the ********!? Max was starting to wonder if this was even real life because he had no idea if this could even be possible.
Max understood that Raffaele was responsible for making him a versipellis. That made sense because hey, Hunter made Veronica a vampire, everyone had a maker these days. Okay what he didn't understand was why the second Raffaele was going to enlighten him, everyone decided to like, kick him out.
What about Max's feelings!? Max wanted Raffaele to stay and spit it out, but no! No, everyone had to go and ruin it for him.
Dumb bitches.
Mac turned to Amelia...he didn't really know what to do. A truck hat hit him in the form on information and it was really getting to him now.
Wait what was that. Out of the corner of Max's eye he saw...pasta.
PASTA!
Max jumped over to the doorway and started moving around the dish like a dog begging for scraps. He knew it was his, he just got excited.
Max snatched the bowel and quickly stuffed his face full of pasta.
Wait, there was something wrong with this picture. If Raffaele was a versipellis, and Raffaele was also Hunter's friend...what hadn't Hunter mentioned this before?
"Hey Hunter, I love you and all cuz you feed me every time I see you, but if you had a versipellis friend...why'd you like hog him all for yourself. I had a right to know!" He said comically as he shoved more pasta into his mouth.

Veronica raised an eyebrow at him. "You have a boyfriend? Why didn't you mention this!?" Well, obviously they really weren't that serious if he was okay with drunken sex with random strippers.
"Lie to him? Just keep it a secret? I mean, I dunno. I think I'd have to tell him." She shrugged. Veronica used to be the best secret keeper ever, but now she was very open with Hunter. They pretty much discussed everything. And anything.
She hooked her arm through Raffaele's and they headed off down the street further. She was listening to this whole plan. Which, okay, it didn't sound too bad. She would drink a little, but it wouldn't really do anything...at all actually.
"Wait. Are you gonna ******** him in my house?" She sighed softly. Well, the house was big enough. And she did really want Hunter.. but by the time she came home smelling like booze and cigarettes.. Who knew what he was going to think?
"Can we get me some new shoes first?" Veronica threw a pout towards Raffaele.

"You don't have to tell him everything." Raffaele had figured out the mistake in that many many years ago.
He was keeping up his face but the versipellis couldn't help but snap his head to the side at one little flawed detail.
"Wait, I never said I was gonna have sex with a stripper." He gave her a look. "Who do you think I am? Picking up random strippers who probably have weird diseases that make their semen smell....I'm way more classy than that! I mean...granted when I was younger I was naive and constantly horny but I've grown out of that!" Defensive!
Raffaele shook his head. "I haven't even been raped in over 800 years so hah!" So proud...well for some reason Raffaele associated rape with being a ho, but hey he had enough problems as it was...there was no need trying to delve into his subconscious.
"Yeah I really want some of those leather boots with the buckles all those models are wearing." Wow he changed subjects fast. Raffaele looked down at his feet then at Veronica's. He twisted his lips casually. "The other day I was in saks and I saw some cute Prada shoes for you...and some Tory Burtch wedges...and a bikini....and purple pumps...for you."
Well, someone had done a lot of browsing in the girl's section it seemed!

"Ooooh. Those are very in. But they won't last long." She shrugged. But it didn't matter, you bought them for now.. then they faded and sat in your closet for the next fifty years until they came back. Yep. The beauty of being a vampire.
"Why ... ******** it." Veronica was curious as to why he was looking through all this girl s**t when he obviously had a p***s, but she wasn't going to waste precious shopping time trying to figure out her husbands ex boytoy.
"Race ya," She giggled and kicked her shoes off and tucked them away before taking off in a full sprint towards town, arriving in just under eleven seconds.

XVampires, they were always so competitive. Did Raffaele think he could beat her, no. He knew he could get there waaaayyy faster than any vamp ever could...the question was, did he feel like it?
He wasn't used to losing..hadn't been used to it for a long time now, so that sort of drove him in a way, but he thought he'd be even more creative than that.
Once they were in town, Raffaele in the form of a tick (ironic since he had latched on to another blood sucker) jumped off of Veronica's shoulder. Thank God they were next to an ally. He transformed into a man before Veronica's very eyes and ended with a big, "Ta da!".
Brushing his hair upwards Raffaele gave her a mock snooty look.
"I think I get points for creativity." He stepped out of the ally and put on his very expensive sunglasses that had been stashed in his shirt pocket.
It was amazing how his clothes morphed with him....the joys of being old!
Hey, when he ages another thousand or so years, he'd be able to make other people shape shift with him!
"Okay, Veronica, what stores shale we hit first?" He looked around cautiously. He never paraded around town in his natural human form...it unnerved him because he didn't feel comfortable with strangers knowing who he really was.

Veronica looked around when she stopped just inside town. But when she looked to her right she watched Raffaele pop up before her. "Thats s**t! I still technically one.. cause you were on me." She stuck her tongue out at him before sliding her feet into her heels once more.
"The boutique just around the corner is my personal favorite..but its mostly for chicks." She tossed her hair over her shoulder before looping her arm through Raffs and strutting towards the store.
"You know..you could always end up being my GBF." She laughed. "I hear its all the rage in teen girls these days." Of course, her voice was purposely snotty and she was mostly kidding.
When they stepped into the boutique she breathed in quickly. "Its been forever since I actually shopped.. in a store." Since Hunter liked to remain secluded in the middle of nowhere most of her shopping was done online.

X"Okay, you can tell yourself you won if it makes you feel better." He raised both hands in an 'I surrender' sort of way and continued on with whatever.
"Is that supposed to be gay best friend?" He asked...making sure he was up to date with the lingo. "Because I'm pretty desirable in that area so you better get a number and wait in line." He turned his head to her, puckered his already pillowy lips at her to an obnoxious level and raised both eyebrows. Well at least that expression told her he was joking around.
They entered the store and already Raffaele's super gay side was coming out. Hadn't been shopping in a real store...that's was blasphemy!
"This is an emergency!" He shouted to the whole store...who's inhabitants stopped to stare at him. "This girl hasn't shopped in a real store in five years! She's been shopping...online."
A tremendous gasp roared through the entire boutique. So Raffaele was being dramatic...he just really liked shopping.
Immediately two gay salesmen swarmed the two supernatural beings.
"Oh my Go-od. Let us help you." Which was let us help you both find this chick clothes..but was really 'I want this clearly gay hot guy's attention'. Yeah...Raffaele sometimes had that effect on people...when he wasn't yelling, threatening people, or gorging himself with ice cream to make himself feel better.

I thought he was dead for 500 years." although this time the scowl on his face was quiet evident, his dislike for drama showing through. How then did he always wind up in dramatic situations?
He didn't even try to do it. It just happened!!!
Amelia seemed to pick up on what he was saying right away. She had the same damn senses as her father!! "And all the drama it's been causing has pissed you off?" she said, her tone good natured and joking, although the look in her eyes showed that she was being quiet sympathetic to her former crush.
"Yeah, there has been enough drama this morning to last another century." which was true, long lost dead ex gay lover showing up, Veronica blowing a gasket, finding out Raffaele was now immortal, finding out Raffaele had created Max. It was all way to much for Hunter to even begin to want to handle.

Then he was making a big scene. Oh yes, she saw why Hunter was attracted to the two of them. They were a lot alike. Two gay guys were at their assistance and she couldn't help but let out a light girlish giggle. "Okay Okay," She was completely in bliss now.
Shopping, never felt so good. She was rushing around the boutique, covering her two new minuens with clothes and shoes and accessories. They were flirting with Raffaele as much as nearly possible, but she didn't care that all the attention wasn't currently on her.. it would be when she started trying stuff on.
It always was.
But.. Raffaele would make this a challenge. One she was willing to play out.
Being a vampire, she was strikingly gorgeous always. And in town, when she walked ... well, anywhere, her and Hunter were the spotlights. They were the amazingly beautiful couple that everyone envied.

X"I like this." He said plucking what had to be a 3 thousand dollar dress from the rack of things probably no one ever touched. Most people weren't wiling to spend 3 thousand dollars on a dress, Raffaele however, was not one of those people.
"Veronica?" He said flipping the dress to face his vampire companion. He turned his head to the side. "Boys, what do you think?" He said flashing them a perfect grin. Shape shifting powers meant flawless teeth...it was just a fact of life.
Both gay men nodded furiously, swooned and chattered something up grabbing accessories from all corners of the room.
Raffaele was strategically flirting. Things got done quickly when people were attracted to him!

Veronica whipped around to see the three thousand dollar dress. Her face lit up and she snatched it. "This is flipping gorgeous." The purple sequines lit up the entire dress and she beamed as she held it up to her.
"Just my size." She handed it over to one of the guys, adding it to her mountain of clothes. "Mmmks. Since I think thats most of the store, can I get a dressing room or am I gonna have to crawl under one and open it myself?"
She smiled, ready to snap. Yeah, the whole shopping thing brought out the demanding side to Veronica.
