[The river roared as the fierce current rushed over the sharp bolders of the river bed. The snow continued to fall gracefully, so beautiful yet so cold. There was a splash of movement from the icy mirror of the river surface, disturbing the tranquil ice. Suddenly a figure busted through the thin layer and crawled up onto the edge, shivering from the cold. Gasping for breath and warmth the loner crawled through the white snow to the safety of the shadows where he belonged, his home. Through blurred and exhausted eyes he looked around desperately for a familiar figure, no where to be found.] "Thunderclaw? Thunderclaw! Where are you?" [A look of horror came to life on the cat's face.] No, what if she didnt make it! What if it was all in vain!? No. Stay calm, it is not like a warrior of the shadows to get so worked up. I will find her, and everything will be alright... [The lone warrior whispered something to himself as he tried to warm himself in peace.

[The warrior looked up from blurred eyes to see a sleek, large, dark form standing over a still raven, Her ice blue eyes were strong and cool, just like the cruel ice he had escaped. He lit up at the sight of the she cat, a feeling of joy building up, his heart fluttering like a bird. All seemed right with the world again. The shadow warrior watched silently from the darkness as he cautiously crept forward, not a sound.] Its her! It HAS to be! "Thunderclaw!!!" [He cried out as he lept forth from the shadows and pounced.] "What happened! You could have killed yourself!! Why did you do that! One of us could have died Thunderclaw! Please please please promise me you will never do that again!" [The tom mewed with a mix of affection and worry. The stranger's pelt was cold as ice as his touched hers. A lulling purr humming in his chest.]]

[The warrior continued to smile despite her angry rant. His goofy grin stretched across his face as he tilted his head.] "Whats the matter Thunderclaw, i thought you would be happy to see me? Oh... is see. I made you drop your hard earned pray. Dont worry my love! Im already freezing, i will go get it!" [Without hesitation the strange cat dove into the icy prison once more. A few bubbles rose and then stillness for what seemed like a long time. Eventually the tom broke the surface with the frozen bird in his jaws as he crawled out of the icy water and place the bird at his beloved's paws.] "Here you go, sorry that i surprised you. I thought you would have been used to it by now, you know?" [He smiled kindly and shivered hard from the ice forming on his wet fur. He shook his body to shake off some of the remaining water. Despite being freezing cold once again he purred and rubbed up against the beautiful black she cat.] "Lets go home Thunderclaw. Im sure our clan is wondering where we have been for so long! I just hope that things turned out alright..."

[The odd cat purred as he held her close.] "You feel very warm~" [He mewed with joy to hear that he was finally going home!] "Alright! I AM freezing! I have been traped in that watery prison for Starclan knows how long!" [Quickly and without warning he disapeard into the shadows, almost like magic. After a short time Thunderflight could hear a voice on her right side.] "Wait... Moonblaze? What happened to Hauntedheart? Is she ok? Is everything alright Thunderclaw? You have been acting a little off. Home is this way silly?"[He purred looking at her with a kind, doubtless look on his shadowy face.] "Come with me, i know the way." [Again he seemingly dissapeared into the darkness, without a trace. She could still hear his voice.] "Are you coming? I hope you will forgive my slowness, i cant stop shivering."

[The stranger tilted his head to her sudden shuddering, confused by his beloved's sudden odd behavior.] "Your home is that way? What do you mean? You dont live with us anymore!?" [He said with a surprised tone to his voice, shocked by the news! But what she said next shocked him even more, electrified him.] "..... your not Thunderclaw? Who are you then? [He stepped closer to get a good look at her eyes, they were a deep blue, instead of the bright golden color he had loved so.] "oh..... oh no. I, I am so very sorry! I must have made such a fool of myself. I never meant to be such a bother. You look like someone i know and who is very close and dear to me. You shouldn't even know i exist! This is bad... How long was i gone!?" [n uproar of questions sprung up in his head, begging for answers he could not provide. A look of sadness and dispar was now where his peaceful smile had been. ] "Forgive me." If this isnt Thunderclaw then where is she? Is she alright? I must find her! I have to know she is well even if it kills me!

[The stranger turned and looked at the she cat in surprise at her open invitation to her camp.] And she thought i was crazy!? Fathom would have had a fit if i brought another clan cat home from one of my missions! [His heart sunk to hear the news. His search was to continue. He tried to put on a kind, blissful face for the beautiful she cat before him, letting out a weak laugh.] "heheh I guess how you could have thought i was delirious. ACHOO!" [he sniffled abit after his sneeze and muttered.] I hope that wont be a reoccurring thing. Will make sneaking a troublesome task. But she is right, I will freeze to death but its to dangerous to enter another clan's camp. But then again whasnt that my main mission? I cant ever be seen! [The tom slipped back into the shadows. Blending in well with his dark coat.] "It has been made forbidden to give out my name to any unknown cat. But you have shown me great kindness despite my blunder. I hope you can take my name as an apology. My name is Whisperblade. It is an honor to meet you." [The darkness whispered.]
