DO THEY GET MINERAL NAMES OR SENSHI NAMES OR DO THEY GET BOTH OR WHAT DO I DO??
Because I think it changes depending on how you're awakened, and I want to knowwww.

You were already awakened: your senshi name.
If you were unawakened: a mineral name.

QUESTION TIME ;;
For Quail, should I wait for the meta-letter before trying to figure much out? I'd really hate to post a profile and go totally the wrong way xD but I also don't want to hold up my fellow Eyes if we're supposed to be making a profile first.
I AM FINE WITH EITHER. Just curious, thanks!
codalion: Try and be patient for your letter -- we're trying to get them out as quickly as possible! <3 It's just that the letters will have some really crucial info for how to build your characters and we'd hate to make you redo bits of your whole concept.

I got the frisbee Lt from the raffle, currently she's attending Crystal. If I managed to grab one of Lizzy's Civilian RL slots could I say she's graduating in June and get her on the SHP/Destiny City adult template?

In the Negaverse, corruption enhances / brings to the forefront characteristics that allows them to best serve the Negaverse, e.g. Obsidian's sadism, Uranophane's tactical thinking and srs bsns attitude. PHRASED IN THE FORM OF A QUESTION. I'm helping someone out with their character concept and want to make sure this is correct! Prophet: Correct, but it does a few other things as well.
Corruption's main purpose is to power a Negaverse character and desensitize them, so that they are better suited for their purpose - taking starseeds, taking orders, and killing anyone who opposes the Dark Kingdom. The more corrupted someone is, the more twisted their personality gets. Taken from the Guild/Info FAQ:

I have a real quick question about the character i won in the raffle and a plot myself and Skye are working out.
My boy is going to be Cordy's cousin and we were planing to have him be from another city and had to move to Destiny City to live with his aunt/uncle after his parents die. So he got sent to Hillworth because Cordy's at a boarding school and they figured he should be at one too.
I was wondering if it would be alright, since he's 17, to have him just at Hillworth to finish up his last semester? So he'd either graduate in June, if that was allowable, or at the end of the fall semester? After that he'd be going to Sovereign Heights.
Question phrasing, i fail at it: Can he graduate in June? Or is that a no because i just got him or would that be relegated to nabbing a RL slot from lizzy for Sovereign Height art
rosemilk: Hi! We'd ask that unless you plan on getting a RL slot from Lizzy, you not graduate any characters as of yet -- though you might want to ask her retemplating rates. I'd also say that if Cordelia's parents are now your character's legal guardians, he wouldn't actually get sent to Hillworth unless he'd been recommended by a school for behavioural issues. Hillworth is a military-style boarding school, and I don't think your guy would qualify due to deceased parents unless there seriously was nobody else to take him, and even then.
I'd have there be money or behavioural issues in place for Hillworth's purposes.
Cordy's parents didn't plan on being his legal guardians since he's 17 and would be out on his own soon anyway so they wouldn't so much have 'adopted' him as he would have been sent to Destiny City for lack of any other family to go to.
The personality i have for him currently doesn't have behavioral issues, him being a bad kid just didn't seem to fit, so would lots of cash handed to the right people work? Otherwise i need tweek my profile to give him some sort of issue (cause he doesn't have one like that atm). My choice wouldn't have been to put him at Hillworth but i wasn't sure if we were allowed to get them re-templated onto different schools. SO if that's possible i'm more than willing to pay Lizzy to re-template him onto a different school

rosemilk: At this point after talking with Lizzy and the RP managers, we're laying this down: you cannot get out of the school you're currently at by RL commissioning Lizzy (if you're a new raffle predrawn or whatever) until after August/June, and you'd have to RP your character going to summer school to be able to graduate. Predrawn unfortunately includes the school you've got to go to, so you'll have to justify that however. It's unfair for new characters to get to just swing to graduation with a commission when other characters can't. Sorry about any stress, but you'll have to do some RP work over the summer for your character to switch schools -- other people have been waiting much longer a time, and the BP kids got shoved back too. We have to make things fair.
So, summary: you can't commission Lizzy and have your character 'graduate' until after August and June, and you have to apply through us and her to do so.
Lizzy gave me an idea how to make Hillworth work for my character so i've already added that into my profile and hopefully it's acceptable.
I figured at the earliest he could finish when the BP kids did (after the extra semester) since he probably missed some school where he was previously due to his parent's deaths. So some cram school during summer and regular classes for the fall semester and he graduates quietly as everyone is going to christmas break

Could a character be homeschooled? If we can explain this well, even if they're Crystal/Meadowview/Hillworth-age, would their art be on the civilian template?

Do senshi use the metric or imperial system to determine attack ranges?
(this is not so serious; mowse and I were just having a convo about attack ranges and she was using metric and I was not. XD )
codalion: Err, senshi attacks have the ranges that they have -- individuals are free to use the metric, imperial, or whatever other system to communicate how much this is. As for what you write down in your profile, that's up to you, but we strongly recommend everyone be on the same page for things in a planned battle story before proceeding with the battle.

Question: Someone said that Senshi and Negaverse GLOW?
I know there's an art effect on the art that gives them a 'glow', but is this really IC? This would affect some past RPs of characters hiding, since it's a lot harder to hide if you're radiating light, however dim.
Prophet: False! All powered up characters give off an aura - that is, an invisible energy vibe. It corresponds with the rank of a character; a sailor senshi and a lieutenant would give off roughly the same low level of energy, but the senshi give off a distinctly different (see: 'good') vibe than Negaverse (see: 'bad'). Characters with massive energy levels, like Guardian Cats in human form, Queen Beryl, and Wiseman, will have very noticeable auras that can be felt from quite a ways away. That's why Guardian Cats can't pass as people in their human form! The Negaverse would figure them out even if they hid their ears and tail.
TL;DR no visible glow. That's just something Natsu does with the art XD
I'm not sure if this is something civilians can sense, I'll wait on another staffer to answer that.

I'm making my raffle profile and came by a simple doubt of mine. A friend told me that senshi's can only be as old as 18. I've hear it before and read somewhere in the guild, though that's not my question. The question is: If anyone makes an 18 years old student at Sovereign Heights, is there the possibility for them to grow older as time goes by and they loose their powers? If so I'll chose Barren Pines, I don't want to loose my senshi. codalion: Once a senshi, always a senshi. (Unless you become a corrupted senshi.) (Or die.) (And even then you're still a senshi.)Prophet: Also, there is no school called Barren Pines. That was just where the victims of an organ trafficking ring exposed back in December thought they were. How were the Amazoness Quartet awakened? Did they just 'wake up' or did Diana awaken them? I know it's not my business, but it's just bothering me.
Also; how are Guardian Cats created? They don't have preexisting souls, as was stated with ********* style="color: #CD6090">rosemilk: You'll see with regards to the Amazonesses, she said irritatingly with a wink!
Guardian cats have a preexisting contract with senshi dating back to the days of Mau and the Silver Millennium. Their rebirths are pretty murky and even the guardian cats don't know a lot about it.
So the Guardian Cats in this shop-*********, Caine, Grendel, Derp-existed in the days of the Silver Millennium, just on Mau? (God, I am asking you people about a million questions.)
rosemilk: Nope, they didn't. Other guardian cats existed on Mau, but those ones are all newcomers to this game and were incarnated, not reincarnated.

It was said that Chronos glowed when she was awakened in Barren Pines, so does this still hold? Or is it just when she has the Opal Crystal? Natsube: I think it was just because it was the first time going princess-- Princess Serenity glowed the first time, but lost her new car smell as time went on. I have a question on Parallels!

I know that all of the staff are allowed to stamp Parallel Cavalier quests but who is in charge of looking over it to make it an actual character?
Is it a group effort between Shaz, Coda and Rose? Or is it just Shaz since she does all the art work?
I'm just curious. x3
codalion: Shaz and I do most of it, though all the other admins also provide their input! Ultimately no admin has official "jurisdiction" over one faction compared to another, and everyone's opinions are heard. Division of labor means it's easier for Shaz and I to do more crit and decisionmaking on the Parallels, and we also play the faction leaders and know how they might interact with prospective soldiers.

Can Guardian Cats have a different challenge or do they all have to have "To Protect and Serve"?
Cuter: I'm fairly certain that "To Protect and Serve" is the standard challenge for all Guardian Cats and it's going to stay that way for the time being - I leave it to the other gals to tell me if I'm wrong, however!
