Saileithe

Sai held her nose in the air and inhaled deeply.

“Yeah, it’s a rather confusing season but it is my favorite. I was debating on becoming a Leafeon due to it.” She replied before sitting down in the grass and stared off.
Yeah, she was still debating on what to do about that, but she thought she was mindset now… So she hoped.
“As long as it fixes this body, I don’t care what I turn into evolution wise.”
Sai, after a few moments of silence looked over at Lucy.

Sai looked at Lucy with a blank expression… What did she say? Sai couldn’t make the connection. Sure she knew Lucy was in a relationship before, but aside from that she knew nothing.

“No no it’s fine. We’ll avoid that topic from now on.”

Upon finishing her sentence, Sai’s ears stood high with a twitch and she jumped to her paws. Her hearing was fairly good.

That voice was familiar… but who?

Her eyes gave a faint glow as she backed up to Lucy and sat down in front of her. If the sun was angled correctly, you’d notice a slight shimmer surrounding them.
Unlike Epitaph’s barrier, Sai’s was transparent; almost glasslike.
Sai was a supporter after all.

“Who’s there?”

Sai’s body shook slightly, as she looked back up at Nico, she giggled.

“Kill me?”
She saw Nico before, she knew he wasn’t someone to ******** with, and in this form she knew she was far too limited but her ego would keep her mind together…

Maybe she should just be an Espeon and have her natural psych do half the work for her.

“What do you want?”
Sai’s expression turned rather strict. There was nevertheless a hint of fear regardless of her experiences here thus far.

Sai growled as she soon stood. The barrier took the assault easily, but it couldn’t handle consistent pressure.
“I do hope you have an idea. I don’t exactly have specific counters. This is just bloodline abilities… It won’t last long.”
Sai said quietly, not turning back to Lucy as she preferred to keep her focus.

What was a genius when you’re so limited?

“I don’t think he will tire quickly either.” She added with a sigh. Sure, Nico couldn’t get close. That doesn’t mean he can’t harm them.

Run. What did running do against that? Well. There was one option.

Sai silently counted down to herself as she watched Nico escape away from Lucy and by the time he got remotely close to her, Sai tensed.
The barrier gave off a pressure from the inside and expanded out for no more than a second before bursting outward. It wasn’t anything of an assault, but a shockwave was still a shockwave and stalling Nico at all was better than running right off the bat.
She sighed, ears popped and ringing, slightly dizzy, she turned and dashed off before hiding behind a tree to breathe. The shockwave should of at least given Lucy time to get at her maniac brother.

Standby.

…? What’s wrong?

Thinking ahead, clearly. I think we’ll be okay though.

…Uh huh.

Sai’s ears stopped ringing, finally.

Sai ducked. She didn’t bother looking back—she didn’t want to. After a short series of sounds, she heard Nico screech. She sighed and turned to find Nico flying off.

“Well that’s that for no—what happened?!”

Sai yelped as she came around the tree back to Lucy. Her first reaction was taking her ribbon from her tail and running around Lucy before stopping after a single run around, taking the ends of the ribbon and tying them together tightly. Her arms free, obviously. Sai sat back down in front of her and smiled slightly.

“I assume we’re going back to the hospital?”

Sai blushed and nodded.
“Yes that’d be a good idea and thank you.”
Upon finishing her response, she watched Lucy carefully… This wouldn’t work. If anything she’d just bleed out by the time they made it back.

She stood blankly for a moment, again contacting Darius before he teleported next to the Eevee with a sigh.

“That kid is back?” He asked as he picked up Lucy. He never met Nico, but Sai updated him for the most part.

Sai just closed her eyes and nodded slightly. Yup, and most likely not the last. She looked up at Lucy.
“It’s better than walking.” She explained with a giggle. “He’ll be gone when we get back.”

Darius yawned. He had nothing to do anyway.
