Jean Claude chuckled. "Mahlah is so sensitive about her age. I keep telling her she doens;t look a day over 400, btu she just doesn't listen." He shrugged. "I'll see if I can find soemthing to get her drunk enough to be fun again. SHe's a very amusing drunk." He said, and trodding off after Jizzy.

"Mishap-wise, he's a kid now. No idea how old he is in human terms. Ten, eleven maybe?" Silencer shrugged, smiling at Rex, Deimos and Lenore as they passed by.
Silencer turned her attention back to Gullien then, and grinned happily at Gullien. "I got Rex on the twenty-seventh of July, so..." The girl frowned, counting the months between back then and the present.
"About five months. Wow, has it been that long already?" Silencer smiled, and shook her head. "My, time sure flies."

Liam, suddenly alone, decided to go sit next to Ike. He did just that for a moment...sat...and then made a small attempt at figuring out why he looked realy to maim everyone.
"What's wrong?"
"Len n' Dei dun't like Ike nu more," Ike growled and turned away, only then realizing that his hatred was actually focused more toward his best friends than Rex. Weird.
Rabid dragged Julian over to a corner and leaned against the wall. She stayed silent for a moment before finding an odd bit of words to smash together.
"I'm sorry," she sighed and fiddling with the L.T.J. around her neck, refusing to make eye contact, "I only paid attention to Jean Claude 'cause...erf...fangs n' French n' never met one before...but...you...I guess...I...kinda like you....ish..." She felt the tips of her ears grow hot.
Yeah, that's real charming. Idiot.

The duo, now a trio, finnally returned to the ballroom. Chao had meant for them to only leave for a moment but things hadn't quite worked out that way....
Looking around the teen released her grip on Reid's hand, though the toddler barely noticed. He was chatting animatedly with the floating being beside him, eager to point out what he knew.
The firefly paused, taking in the new figures curiously and pointing out the familar ones, "tha's Dei's Mu and..." he tilted his head, eyes settling on the vampire near her, "an' 'ean Cla'de L'Oche." Eyes flitting away as soon as the name was out of his mouth, Reid continued to look around, wondering where Ike had gone to.
Ave nodded slowly, floating a bit higher and taking in the crowd of people with his blank eyes, tail flicking from side to side quietly.
Chao sent Reid an odd look. She was sure they'd never met the man near Jizzy. Well.. maybe Rico had taken Reid out into the HQ and met up with him, yes, that seemed logical.

Ike wasn't even tempted to call out to Reid this time, so he just sat there and patted Shammi.
"'Ey, Little Guv!" Liam called and motioned for Reid to come over, "Reid still likes you. You can be sure of that." He stood and walked away, again hoarding the buffet table.

"Ike! Li-man!" Reid grinned happily and, before Chao could stop him, hopped into the air and flew towards the duo, Ave lingering to hover alongside Chao for a moment before dropping to the ground and following on foot to better take in the sights of the room.
Luckily Reid noticed that Ike was holding a new baby before he attempted his usual pounce of his friend, opting to use Liam as a temporary landing pad instead.
Chao watched on as her son slammed into Liam's shoulder, idly noticing that he was getting quite good at recovering from those sorts of landings as he hopped back up and glided down to formally land near Ike.
Deciding he'd be fine she turned to resume a bit of wandering before she could be noticed.

Jizzy scanned the table. Booze, booze, where was the booze. "Urgh.." Nothing, no eggnog, no nothing. How was she supposed to get drunk under these conditions.
"Mahlah.. Come now. Must you be so grumpy.." Jean Claude said, gazing around. Ooh, fresh meat.
"You knew I was passing of a teenage, Jean Claude."
"But noone cared, see, no harm done. I bet you would cheer up if Mortal-boy was here."
"He has a name!"
"Right, Rick, or something of the sort."
"His name is Rico.."
"Yummy? Who would call thier child yummy?"
Jizzy gave an audible groan and started off. Maybe CHao could lighten her mood. "Hey CHao.."

Chao turned at the call of her name, "oh, hey Jizzy!" she returned the greeting warmly, grey eyes shifting over to the vampire besides her and quirking an eyebrow as pain shot through her back before looking back to Jizzy, "how're you? Enjoying the party?"

Liam sauntered over to Chao and Jizzy, not wanting to interrupt and therefore just kind of watching. If Jean CLaude tried anything...anything...
"Hi, Reid," Ike grumbled and glared off into nothingness.

Jizzy mumbled something that sounded vaugely like "I'm fine, thanks very much." but it might have been. "That's mine, I had it for brunch." Though I'm not quite sure what the second phrase would be used for at the moment.
Jean Claude didn't take long to arrive alongside the girls. "Someone I haven't met yet. Oh lovely. You must be another friend of Mahlah's." He smiled at CHao, bowing and kissing her ahnd as he had done the others.
"Go away Jean Claude." Jizzy grumbled. She was in no mood to deal with the pompous vampire.
"Oh, relax, Mahlah. It's the holidays.." He looked straight at her when he said this. Eyes boring into hers.
Jizzy yawned suddenly, pulling up a chair and sitting down. Her head lolled over a second later.
"Oh dear... I think I might have overdone it.."

Shammi's eyes almost crossed when Reid landed on Liam. "Loo. Ikee, fwen?" She asked, blinking.
Damnit. Bored again. Picking up another spork, Erishi decided to go over and play with the hungry vampire man. She walked over and smacked Liam in the back of the head with the spork. "Hello, Fluffy." She greeted.

Reid's smile, along with his glow, immediately dropped at the dismissive, angry tone his friend used, not used to it at all, espically not from Ike.
"Lo 'lil," he said to the baby in Ike's arms before giving his focus over to Ike.
"Ike?" the toddler ventured, shuffling over to get in the way of Ike's glaring gaze, "Ike ki? Wha's the matt'r?"
Chao felt a bit of heat rise in her cheeks and she smiled at the kiss on her hand, what a lovely ma~ another shot of pain over the area near her shoulderblades. Ow. Owowowow.
Praying that wasn't going to happen every time Chao struggled to regain the warm smile she'd had before, "uh, yes, I'm a friend of Mahlah's," she replied, remembering that was Jizzy's real name.
As her friend suddenly keeled she tilted her head, "what'd you do to her?"

"Vampiric eye-hypnosis," Liam explained as casually as possible to Chao, "A bit out of practice, eh, Jean Claude? AUGH!" He spun around quickly and instinctively reached out for the gun beside him, pulling it into tangibility. He struck out to grab Erishi by the neck, but stopped himself in time and turned it into an angry point.
"Never sneak up behind me," he growled, his eyes wild, "Never." He let his gun go back into nothingness and whirled back around to Chao. Perfect. Just perfect. Now he was pissed.
Jean Claude? Kindly don't make me shoot you. It's easy for you to get a girl. Leave Chao alone, hm?
Ike ignored Shammi for a moment and snapped his gaze into Reid's eyes Reid, his pupils fluctuating between normal size and tiny slits.
"Ike 'bandoned," he growled, "Heesa th'r'd weel..."

Jean Claude nodded and chuckled. "I'm afraid so... I haven't hunted in years, so I have had no need to. I assure you she is unharmed and she'll be up, and possibly in a much better mood, in no time." He said, moving ove to Jizzy and fixing her up so that she wouldn't fall off the chair.
"I am sorry about that though, but enough about her, now we know she'll be fine.' He turned back to Chao. "I haven't gotten your name.."

Plopping on the ground, Erishi giggled at Liam. "You're so silly!" She commented, looking up at everyone with an interested look on her face. Oooh. Violence forthcoming? She hoped she'd be in a good spot for blood splatter.
