~ Guillermo~ On the other side of the Rocky Plains, FAR AWAY from the Gardevoir and Gallade couple, Guillermo entered the scene. The tension from the night was locking up his joints and he needed some fresh air to clear his head. He sat atop a random rock and began to poke at the stars overhead, pretending each one was an individual Pokemon that would pop in a glorious rain of screams of pain and blood if he poked it. Arceus, Guillermo is really screwed up in the head, isn't he?

-Trev-
Trev had been stalking Guillermo almost the entire; waiting for a chance to attack him. He watched as the Zangoose sat upon and rock and began to poke at the stars. The Cyndaquil appeared from behind a rock with a very determined look on his face. "Are you Guillermo?" as the rather small Pokemon.

~ Guillermo~ Guillermo ceased his sadistic rampage on the stellar objects overhead long enough for him to lay back on the rock, his arms serving as a pillow. With a sigh, he regarded the small Cyndaquil, that had dared to interrupt his alone time, out of the corner of his eye. "So what if I am, el pequeño?" Guillermo didn't much enjoy being disturbed when he wanted to be alone. Especially by someone as vertically challenged as a Cyndaquil. Why was he even talking to a stranger anyway?

-Trev-Trev wasn't sure what Guillermo said, but he had a supsicion it was something about his small stature. "I'm Klash's team leader, I'm sure you remember her...?" he said casually as he approached the Zangoose. The Cyndaquil was already preparing mentally to attack Guillermo or defend against a attack. He had a slight advantage, being smaller and more agile then the larger Zangoose.

~ Guillermo~ Guillermo frowned and thought for a second. That name did sound familiar....OH! Guillermo casually stood up, his claws stretched far above his head as he yawned. Crossing his arms he laughed slightly, "Oh, that puta? So you're her team leader, eh?" He smirked slightly and began a bit of a Taunt, in anticipation for the inevitable battle to come, "I suppose I know why you're here, and let's just say that I hope your size doesn't allude to your fighting skills."

-Trev-All thoughts of strategy and strategic engagement were thrown out the window the minute Guillermo had used that move. "Trust me, it doesn't!" Trev shot a Flamethrower at the Zangoose, the Taunt at obviously induced the attack. The Cyndaquil was mentally swearing at himself for falling for the Taunt; something that he would consider a rookie mistake.

~ Guillermo~ Guillermo, having anticipated an attack to follow his Taunt, easily Detected the Flamethrower and leaped into the air as the large blast of flame barreled towards him. Mid-jump, he snickered and snapped his claws, causing an all too familiar spark to light up behind the Cyndaquil's closed eyes. By now, one should know what that meant. Gracefully he landed back on the scorched rock, a cocky smirk playing across his face, "Little fool, I'll tear you to shreds!" Eye's open wide with insane fury, he leaped at the Cyndaquil, both claws seething with dark energy. As he neared close he brought his claws down in a perfect arc, the Night Slash an almost guaranteed hit.

-Trev-Trev's mind went through a variety of different scenarios; most of which didn't end to well with him. The lack of his Flamethrower certainly put him at a disadvantage; not that it was going to stop him. He jumped back as the arc set in motion, dodging the claws easily with his small size. The Cyndaquil then used Quick Attack and followed it up with a Tackle aimed at the larger Pokemon's chest.

~ Guillermo~ Guillermo didn't let the dark power leak from his claws this time. No, instead he stood his ground, and when the Cyndaquil charged at him, he brought his claws across his chest as a makeshift shield. The impact from the small Pokemon sent him skidding back a few inches, but he then quickly slashed his claws out of their crossed position, the second Night Slash hitting point blank.

-Trev-Trev flew back from the blow and landed on his feet a little ways away. He at least felt that the Taunt had worn off, now he wouldn't blindly be attacking. He shrugged off the pain from the Night Slash, and shot a Smoke-Screen all around the area. Obviously Trev wasn't going to defeat this guy with brute force; he was relying on strategy now. Using the Smoke-Screen as a shroud, he moved around Guillermo and used the Quick Attack and Tackle combo. This time Trev was aiming for the Zangoose's spine.

~ Guillermo~ Guillermo's field of vision was soon cut off by a thick cloud of black smoke. He frowned and began to whip up the wind around him in preparation for an attack. Soon the Razor Wind was ready, and he shot it off into the darkness. The attack successfully removed the thick shroud, but it was too late, for he soon felt the Cyndaquil make contact with his back. It had been forceful, sure, but a Tackle is still a Tackle, powered up or not. He shot forward a few feet, and tumbled to the ground, but he wasn't down for long. Soon, Guillermo was at his feet, already charging at the Cyndaquil, his Claw raised high, ready for a powerful Counter.

-Trev-Trev, again, was thrown back by the attack. The Cyndaquil ignored the pain once again as he began to think up a strategy. He used Smoke-Screen once more, the whole battlefield was now covered in the thick smoke for the second time. The small fire from his back grew in size as he readied his next attack. Trev used Eruption, causing a huge high-powered flame to shoot out from his back right at Guillermo.

~ Guillermo~ The battlefield was once again covered in that rather annoying blanket of black smoke. Guillermo cursed under his breath but forced himself to remain calm. Keep an eye out for any incoming attacks, he told himself. Well let's just say he didn't have to wait for long, for soon a large beam of lava and rocks barreled through the smoke straight at him. Thankfully, the beam had been bright enough to give Guillermo more than enough warning to dodge it. The smoke may have been thick, but it wasn't so thick that no light could escape. After successfully dodging the attack, Guillermo began to do a strange sort of dance, that made his claws glow a bit. He snickered, the Swords Dance had worked perfectly. Now, where is that...Aha! Guillermo soon spotted what he was looking for, a small glint of fire off in the distance signaled the location of his rival. Using the smoke as a cover, he drew up to him, and slashed out at him with another Night Slash.

-Trev-Trev hadn't seen the Zangoose until it was far to late to dodge. He crashed against the ground again, this time the attack seemed to have dealt more obvious damage. He was breathing more heavily now from both the constant attacking and the pain throughout his body. Trev swore at himself for letting the enemy use his own Smoke-Screen against him. He readied another Eruption, this time using Quick Attack to arrive directly in front of the larger Pokemon. He fired off the powerful fire-attack, this time at almost point-blank range.

~ Guillermo~ Guillermo soon found his face too be filled with another Eruption. Thankfully, due to the Cyndaquil's weakened state, the attack wasn't as strong as it could've been. He recovered after skidding back a few feet and rose his claw in the air, the Eruption had blown a hole straight through the Smokescreen, and a clear path to the Cyndaquil was revealed. Guillermo soon began charging at the Cyndaquil, a Swords Dance infused Crush Claw ready to deal a powerful blow to his skull.
