Mandarin

Mandarin laughed. "I get lost all the time. It's Zori with the sense of direction." She replied, slipping down into the water.
She blushed as the water pulled her skirt up, and she hurriedly brushed it back down underneath the water, glancing back at Raven to make sure he hadn't seen anything.
Boys were so difficult to talk to. She'd rather not make things uncomfortable between herself and one of the few who she COULD talk to.

Raven would have gladly continued speaking on topic, but a bit of a distraction got in his mind instead. Quickly turning his head to the side to make it look as if he had not seen anything the Lucario proceeded to casually dip his feet into the water while he recuperated and thought of something to say.
"I guess that makes sense, she's a very good leader in any scenario..."
He noted, finally bringing his attention back to the Kirlia after all problems were fortunately solved. This only lead to another trouble though; the water felt amazing to him and he was dying to join his company. The only restriction being the fact that he was kinda' wearing his only pair of pants and jeans with large water never mixed well. Thinking over this conundrum it only took him a moment to come up with a verdict; and probably not the best for all in attendance. Meeting Rin's show and raising her a few chips, Raven stood up from his seat and without hesitation unzipped himself from his pants. It was well known by the rest of his team that there was a constant lack of modesty courtesy of the said Lucario; but for someone new like Mandarin there may be a little concern for his sanity. With one swift motion he dropped himself carefully in the water without making too much of a splash.

Mandarin

Rin's jaw dropped. Had he really just done that?!
She turned her head silently away, focusing on getting rid of the blush that had spread across her face.
So much for not feeling awkward around him.
As Raven was safely concealed underwater, the Kirlia got a brilliant idea. She smiled to herself, using her psychic powers to shift the Lucario's pants under a nearby bush, and out of sight. It took a tremendous amount of concentration and energy, but it was soooo worth it.

Raven looked around curiously as it seemed Rin was staring at something directly behind him; but as he turned around to look her little trick was over and he hadn't noticed anything out of the norm.
"Are you alright?"
He had to ask after the slew of peculiar actions he sat through and watched without explanation. Needless to say by this point he was simply dense to all the recent happenings.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just dozed off for a moment there." She waved a hand dismissively, stepping slowly deeper into the water.
"This is some sort of hot springs, right? That's why the water's so warm?" She questioned. "I mean, I'm up to my waist; normally I'd be cold by now." She waved a hand, gesturing to the height of the water.
It was a generic, boring topic, but she had to draw attention away from her actions onshore.

Raven let himself sink down into the water and let his head come to rest on the bank. Once in this position the Kirlia's excuse became all the more understandable as he too was about to fall asleep right on the spot. All that was keeping him awake for now was the light conversation which he was content to go along with.
"I guess..."
He shrugged in response to Rin's question.
"Honestly never been here myself. Not gonna' complain if I was ever forced to come back though."
He noted, though curiosity got the best of him and he felt the need to delve a bit. Sure conversation about natural hot springs was completely fine and exhilarating, but there were just some things he needed to know.
"So, uhm, what made you join our team?..."
He just had to ask.

Mandarin

Mandarin turned once again to look at the Lucario, stepping deeper into the water. It was now up to her neck, and the Kirlia felt comfortable half-floating there in the warm waters.
"To be with Zori; although I wasn't expecting to have to share my sister with so many others." The Kirlia made a face. "When I first set out in search of her, I didn't know she'd joined the guild. I always thought she'd become a healer or something, so I went around checking hospitals and clinics of sorts. Didn't take long when I came to the one here. They directed me right quick to your team room. Needless to say I was a little shocked."
Rin paused, realizing that she'd rambled off topic. "But yeah; I missed my sister. If I have family out there, I don't know who or where they are; Zori's the only one I've got."

Raven listened and nodded along with deep intrigue. Finding it strange how well each of their stories coincided, he couldn't help but then share his own.
"I guess we have a lot in common."
He chucked out.
"Zori's team adopted me awhile back and I owed my life to her ever since. So really the entire team is like my family..."
He noted, taking a moment to sigh before continuing his speech. He was attempting to match the Kirlia's in length but it seemed that his past just wasn't as interesting; nor did he know if he could take a breath as big either...
"... And recently we just found out that we're actually both half-siblings through our father. Kinda' weird but at least it explains my generic overprotective brother symptoms."

Mandarin

Mandarin seemed surprised.
She swam closer, looking carefully at the Lucario. "You certainly have the same fur; I'll give you that." She admitted. "Although I guess this makes us siblings as well, in a way." Rin noted, continuing to swim.
She wasn't really pleased with this new development. It would probably turn out to be rather irritating and confusing in the long run. She could feel it.

Raven sunk into the water to the point where his snout was barely visible after Rin had spoken; utter disappointment having sent him into this state.
"Yeah, uhm...I guess you can look at it that way."
He added with a disheartened chuckle, trying his best not to look discouraged by the realization that was now in the open air. It's not like they were blood related or anything, far from in fact. Even with this in the front of his mind though the awkwardness just wouldn't go away.
"We've been out here for quite awhile. Maybe we should get you back home if things cleared up there."
He tried to change the subject; also noting that he was discouraged enough to want to head in for the night. Turning back to the bank of the water so he could exit the Lucario ended up noting something fairly problematic though.
"Uhmm, did you see where I left my pants by any chance?"
He asked, blushing slightly. This discoloration in his fur not even more attributed to the fact he was pants-less, rather his embarrassment of misplacing them. Fortunately for the Kirlia though he did not exit the concealing pool without them just yet.

Rin tilted her golden head, watching him with curious crimson eyes. "I guess you weren't paying attention when you put them down..." The Kirlia answered quietly, having previously thought out how to word it. Secretly, she was finding this quite amusing.
She swam for shore, hauling her slim little body from the water. She shook the liquid droplets from her feet, and skipped gracefully over to where Raven's 'missing' article of clothing had last been seen.... by the Lucario. "Where'd you last see them?"
He white dress, now, thoroughly soaked, clung to her tiny frame. She could feel her face flush with warmth at the thought of anyone seeing her, but quickly turned her face so as for Raven not to see her blush. She held her arms in close to herself, trying to disguise her body a little better.

Raven gave a grumble of annoyance to the problematic situation at hand. From the looks of it there was only one way for this to be solved. Without hesitation he jumped up on shore and peered around the surrounding area without the wanted outcome; trying his best through all of this to not spend too much time staring at Rin. After the mentioned Kirlia wrapped her hands around herself though, the idiotic canine read her moments entirely wrong.
"You look cold..."
He spoke, concern strongly apparent in his voice as he stepped closer to her.
"We probably shouldn't have came out here this late, I'm so sorry."
Raven added an apology on as he took the initiative to wrap his arms around her also for the warmth that seemed to be in need. Modesty apparently not a problem as his naked and still soaking wet body was in fairly close proximity to hers. In this position he could still see well over her head and continued to scan over the surrounding area as if there was nothing entirely wrong with the position they were in.

Rin stiffened as she found herself caught in the embrace of the rather clothing-less Lucario. She felt her heart skip several beats faster with panic, and the Kirlia squeaked. Her body trembled fearfully, although she knew the Lucario didn't mean her harm.
"Pl-please d-d-don't touch m-me..." She stammered awkwardly, squirming from his grasp. The Psychic-type hid her eyes behind her delicate little hands. "Y-your cl-clothes are over th-th-there..." She motioned toward the bushes, sinking down onto her knees, and sitting in the sand, still soaked to the bone.

Raven backed away as soon as directed. He had no clue why he was told to do so for only trying to help but he felt terrible none-the-less.
"I'm sorry..."
He apologized once again in a barely audible voice as he walked away towards where he was told his clothing was. At least for the moment he safely assumed she had just spotted the pants and didn't have anything to do with them getting there in the first place. Though having a little trouble getting them over his soaked body, he was once again fully clothed for the better in moments. He was simply terrible around the opposite gender to begin with and this didn't help; he had absolutely no clue what he did wrong.
"I-I didn't mean to..."
He stuttered out, returning to her side and being very cautious not to touch her. Thinking it best to let her take the next move he outstretched a hand to help her up off the ground.

Rin flinched back fearfully as Raven extended his hand, but relaxed slightly as she realized he was waiting for her to move. He held his hand palm upward. He wanted to help. She watched him for a moment with her large, crimson eyes, before cautiously accepting the hand, rising shakily to her feet.
She drew her hands nervously to her chest, tense and nervous. "I-I'm sorry..." She echoed him quietly, staring at the ground. "I-I'm just.... I don't like being t-touched b-by... men..... It sc-scares me...." The Kirlia admitted, by now her usual, calm and airy attitude having disappeared completely, and been replaced with a shy, fearful creature who jumped at shadows and hid from the wind in the trees.
