Amber was able to slightly open her eyes. She was in so much pain, and everything was blurry. Then, she was able to make out something above her, it looked like...the nurse that had shocked her into unconsciousness. And in her hand was some kind of syringe. As if all her ailments suddenly disappeared, Amber shot up and glared up at Toppan.

"Don't you dare try to pump me full of some unknown drugs you weird nurse lady!"

The second after Amber said that, she realized it was Toppan who had electrocuted her in the first place, and if she yelled at her like that, it was probable that she'd do it again.

"Umm...t-that is...err...I mean...t-thank you for offering to help me with my wounds, but I believe I will be fine without that. And please, forgive me for the disturbance I made earlier..."

All it took was a little fear in her heart, and Amber seemed to actually become respectful and polite... She didn't know what whatever the nurse was going to use on her was, but she felt it better not to find out.

Amber turned to the other girl that was in the room, the one who seemed to be a little confused. It seemed like her name was Sally, but the girl didn't seem to recognize it; amnesia, maybe?

"You need a cane to move on your feet? What happened, some kind of accident?"

"Sousuke huh? Well, that sure is a weird name. I mean, its a boy's name, isn't it? I'm not really up on japanese names like that, but that sounds like a boy name. I don't know why your parents would give their daughter a boy name..."

Amber really didn't understand some people. There were plenty of people like than in california and probably all over the rest of the US too. Parents who wanted their children's names too unique and ended up doing stupid things like naming their sons Mary.

"I've never heard of your clan before, but I'm really into guns myself! You should see the collection I have at home...but I never really get to use them. That's why I'm here, I was told I'd be able to get a partner that's a gun and we'd be able to shoot demons and witches and stuff...*sigh* but I haven't found a partner yet, and nobody will tell me who I have to speak to in order to find one..."

"Umm, yeah, you're definitely a girl...unless you happen to be hiding something down below...Did you get hit in the head or something?"

Amber reached into her pocket and pulled out a compact mirror, one that was of course durable enough to withstand combat (cause even in a fight, Amber needed to look good!) and handed it to Sally...or Sousuke...or whatever she was called. Amber didn't know why she thought she was a boy, but maybe seeing herself would make her wake up. Then, she heard the girl talk about being a weapon.

"Are you serious?! You're a weapon, and a gun to boot!? This is great! You don't have a partner already, do you?"

As Sousuke began to try to transform however, it was clear that the ability had somehow been blocked or something.

"Okay, something must have messed you up real bad. But I'm sure the nurse or someone could help you get back to normal. Then when you do, maybe we could be partners!"

"Hmm...I guess those witches must have done something to you then...maybe changed your gender and sealed your ability to transform...but can witches really do all that? Well, I guess you're the proof. Wow, these witches are scary, I don't want to end up as some dude, I'd never get away with anything if it wasn't for my feminine cuteness..."

Amber may have said that she was scared, but that was far from the truth. She was excited, these witches were these evil enemies for her to defeat, and now that she found Sousuke...or Sally...she had a way to fight them. It was like a dream come true, she'd be in real combat.

"You don't have a partner either? Well how about this, I help you find a way to change back to normal, and then we can be partners! I'm sure we'd make a great team, especially since you seem to be the only sensible person that I've met so far..."

Amber thought about what she said, and then quickly turned to the nurse. She had almost forgotten she was in this infirmary.

"Except for you, of course, nurse...umm...Toppan, right? You of course seem like a very sensible person as well!"

Yeah, she was sucking up. Much better than getting shocked again...

Amber held out a hand to Sousuka, as to help her get up. She figured that she'd have to help her walk as well, but that was a small price to pay in order to finally have a weapon. Even if she couldn't transform yet, it was much better than continuing to wander the school.

"Oh, don't worry about shopping for clothes, I have a ton of them at home that I've never even worn before. But wait, home is a little far...I'll just phone home and have someone fly my wardrobe over here. Actually, a helicopter would be much more expensive than a new outfit...and of course mom and dad would take it out of my allowance...so shopping it is!"

Amber hadn't had a chance to check out the stores here anyway. She was sure they wouldn't have anything near as much choices as she could get back home, but who knew what interesting things they could find here.

"First thing's first, though, lets get you home. I'm sure you're family will freak since you're a girl now and everything..."



((If you want to RP his family or something, I suppose we could go to Sousuke's house, otherwise I suggest we just assume they got a cane and went shopping so we could go to Death and he can help fix Sousuke.))
