"Mm..." mumbled Bryce. "What, guy can't poke a little fun? Just because the world might die out soon..." He pondered again for a moment. "Isn't that just a better reason to laugh more often?"

After a while, Bryce grunted. "Fine, fine..." he got up and dusted himself off, then walked over to Jinx. "Whatever I said wrong, I'm sorry."

"More tightly packed group makes for a better fight, in my experience." Said Bryce, looking around the ship. The man with the battleaxe and one eye from the bar was helping the crew hoist the sails, and there was a halflings inside one of the heavy cannon barrels, cleaning it out.

"I'd rather just law low and strike when they're not looking, it's a way better fight if you win and don't go losin' anyone in the process." Jinx sat on the ground and played with her hair while she talked.
