Sweet, the helicopter was back in. Looked like it was just about time for Peter to get a piece of the action, as it were.
Removing a rubberband, a sheet of paper, and a roll of printer paper siding from his bag, he got to work. The paper was quickly folded into something resembling a barbed spear, its end looped so he could easily tie the tailing end of the printer siding around it. That done, he stuffed the roll up his sleeve and stretched the rubberband between the thumb and pinky of his right hand while bending his two middle fingers in toward his palm.
As the spear was loaded into the makeshift slingshot, he moved into the best mimicry of his favorite comicbook character he could manage.
Off went the spear, flying straight across the distance between the helicopter and the building, puncturing the side of the construction. A few test tugs and Peter Gibbons made like Peter Parker.
He had just forgotten one thing.
He sucked.
"AHHHHH!" He screamed like a girl a third his age as he swung toward the office that Gizmo had inhabited until only a few moments before.
Tucking himself into a ball, he flew through the window. At least his calculations were correct. That being the only comforting thought he held as he bounced along the floor, developing quite possibly the worst rug burn of his life along the way.
Finally his tumble halted and he shakily stood up.
...
"WHAT THE ******** WAS I THINKING?!"
A few slaps across the face to hopefully put some sense back into him, he headed after Gizmo. That was an all time low act of stupidity. Hopefully his concious would let him live it down eventually...

((I figured it was better than auto death/incapacitation...
Roll for Counter attack. And there goes my luck. 22.))
Gizmo's shot tore into his back, well aimed, well placed, it tore a section about the size of a spread out hand in the armor, revealing some of the circuits and parts below, and giving it a nice weak spot for further attacks.
From the Robot's mouth, came a string of expletives that could only be known and uttered by a soldier with some experience, and frankly, even hinting at what they are would get the powers that be pissed at this line.
One was down, another was coming, and his friend arrived, "Leave me alone already!" he screamed while firing down the hallway towards Gizmo and Peter with another fire shot.

Systems check complete. The Worker unit had lost some small bits of data from it's memory files, but beyond the lost fragments all systems seemed to be funtioning normally.
It moved out of Standby mode and slowly picked itself up, turning towards the legless Squadron.
"Data files show you to be Lt. Grabowski. I am A~E prototype 450. I have been sent to provide assistance."

Gizmo heard a string of unutterables spew forth from his opponent's mouth, and had just enough time to think, Thats odd, for a robot. When he remembered to duck around a corner in the hallway, as the fireball soared past him. He turned back out, and fired another few shots at his enemy, getting ready to reload.

((I'd like to note that while Arc had a bad roll, it's not like -our- team is having good ones. And now for my post...which doesn't actually matter.))
"Oh god! Oh god! Pain! Argh!" is what Vincent probably should have been screaming like a little girl, similar to Peter's girl scream from moments before. But Vincent was a manly man. He simply took his damage like a man and did not scream. This was to his advantage, as his manliness increased his power slightly and made it easier to bear the pain. Instead, he cursed in his native language at his uselessness. If only he could help his team. He shouted at the robot, "Curse you robot! Why you not come peacefully? No hurting for anyone, and food for my family!"

"WHA!" Peter yelled, his feet skidding ineffectively on the floor as he desperately attempted to reverse his momentum. Instead he simply halted and fell over. Not quite dodging the blast as it roared over his legs.
"AGH!" He yelped as he experienced quite possibly the worst hanollulu hotfoot known to mankind. He had little time to blow on his toes, however. Instead, he decided upon a more satisfying way of dealing with his pain. Revenge.
Rolling back out of the doorframe and into a crouch, he pointed an accusing finger at the robot. "YOU SHUT UP! You've set me on fire ONE too many times! I ain't letting you go until I've uploaded my foot up your a**!"
Heh, nice one.
He mentally patted himself on the back as he removed a stack of paper from his bag and simply chucked it at the robot. The papers split apart and spun riggidly like one might expect from a plate. Except the surface area of their point of impact would be quite a bit thinner and harder.
Meanwhile, he fell back on his a**. His feet hurt. A lot. Now while the robot was blinded, his true attack would come. He fitted a paperclip into the rubberband still suspended between his thumb and pinky, took careful aim, pulled back as hard as he could, and fired. It didn't look like the robot was too set to be moving around all that much. A good shot for center mass seemed like a safe bet.

((Roll for, well, rollin'. wink ))
Without legs, there was no way Squadron could dodge the attack. However as the storm of paper came in at him, he tried to roll to one side, getting more glancing blows, than solid blows. As the paper clip came in, he was hopefully in a position where his desert eagle wound was out of the line of fire, and only a glancing blow would be dealt.
