He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her as close as he possibly could. He didn't want Autumn to leave his side.
Riddle opened the door and walked inside.
"We're back."
"I take it everything went well sweetie?"
"Yes mother."

Once Autumn heard that everything had gone well, she paid even more attention to Takato, snuggling her face into Takato's stomach since she was only waist high to him.
Kitty walked in right behind Riddle, nodding to Shona as she came in. She looked over and saw Takato and Autumn in a tight embrace, causing her to smile.
"Adorable.... So young.... Yet filled with so much joy."

Autumn looked up at Takato, smiling.
"Autumn likes Takato's hugs... They're nice and cool."

Riddle nodded, heading towards the kitchen.
"What do you expect from a Water Nymph?"
He laughed a little.

Kitty followed Riddle into the kitchen, standing over in the corner of the kitchen.
"Riddle..... I have something I've been wanting to talk to you about for a few years now..."
Autumn giggled and hugged his waist some more, looking back up at him.
"A Water Nymph Takato? What is a Water Nymph?"
She had apparently not seen his ears or the mark on the left side of his neck that indicated him being a Nymph.

He laughed again.

Riddle was confused, especially that she'd hold something from him for a few years, but better late than never.

"Takato knows what Autumn means! Autumn does not know of why you are a Water Nymph."
She cocked her head to the side, confused.
She sighed, knowing that this could either go well or horribly wrong.
"Riddle, for the past few years now.... I've been telling everyone that I have a fiance' and all... Well, the truth is, I don't. The only person I have right now is Autumn... And before that, I had only my parents until they passed away due to an accident."

Takato didn't know either.

Riddle was waiting for the end to ask questions. He wanted to know why she would lie to everyone.

"But then... Who is Takato's Mommy or Daddy?"
She took a deep breath, and continued on.
"Well... I've truly loved someone for years and years.... But I've been so afraid of telling him.. So afraid of showing my feelings to him because I'm scared he'll turn me down. That's why I've been saying that I had a fiance'.. But the truth is...... I'm in love with you Riddle... And your Mother knows it too..."

"I don't know...the past from before and during my feather stage is all a blur..."
It was true, he couldn't remember anything. Not his parents, not his friends, not his family.
Riddle's eyes widened in disbelief. He couldn't believe it. But then he looked to the ground. He didn't wonder how his mother knew, she always found out beforehand.
"I don't know what to say...except that...well...I didn't really realize it until around last year or so...but I love you too Kitty..."
He looked up again, his eyes sparkling.

"Oh.... Autumn is sorry for Takato not being able to remember his past."
She snuggled his waist, truly feeling bad for him, for she remembered when she was a feather.
Kitty just stared at Riddle for a few moments before it finally sank in. Her eyes widened some, her mouth starting to hang open a tad.
"Y-Y-You love m-me? But... But why? I don't understand...."

Takato remember a little bit of his life as feather. He remember a lot of stone, darkness, sitting with a purple feather, which he later learned was Proteus, another Nymph like him, and large amounts of orange.
"Don't be. We all forget at one time or another, but those memories aren't gone, just forgotten."
"Yes...I do. I don't know why, but I just do."
Riddle was speaking the truth. He never did really get why.

Autumn glanced up at him, smiling with glassy eyes.
Kitty looked Riddle over, knowing he wasn't lying at all. Riddle always spoke the truth when speaking to her, and that was one reason why she loved him so much.
"Riddle... You should of told me sooner...... Just as I should have.."
She walked over to him, standing only a few inches away, looking him in the eyes.

Takato smiled at her.
"I would've told you sooner...but I didn't know how to say it, and I felt it was never the right time."
He smiled warmly.
