Shayla huffed. "Fine, Ami. But it's no fun if he doesn't get punished at least a bit." Shayla said, glaring at Leon for being saved. "So Leon? If I were to hurt her..." Shayla trailed off, suddenly ducking and slipping beneath his blade too quickly for any reaction. She grabbed Ami lightly by the throat and whispered too low for Leon to hear, "Play along. I won't really hurt you." into Ami ear.

Leon tensed as he saw Shayla charge him. Suddenly she ducked past him and grabbed Ami by the throught Leon jumped back ignoring the pain he was in.
Shayla! Let go of her right now! I swear if you hurt her I will Kick your a** then I will kick Marco's a** too.

Ami didn't like the thought of tricking Leon, but she was curious to see what he could do. So she played along, pretending to struggle against Shayla's grip. She looked at Leon with a pleading expression.

Shayla grinned, releasing Ami. "So you do have a soft streak! Congratulations. Now you know how I feel." Shayla grinned, placing her palm on his blade and moving it so it pointed to the ground. "Okay, I think you've learned your lesson. Bye now!' she said as she pranced back down the hall.

"Well, what was she trying to prove?" Ami asked, standing up from where Shayla had dropped her. She watched her go back to the apartment, slightly confused. "Oh well. I should go cut her hair like I said. Can you come upstairs now?" she asked, waiting for Leon.

Leon was confused. He was still pissed that she started to choke Ami who for some reason he felt a strong connection to. He lunged at the shewolf walking back and punched her in the back of her head with his good arm. It wasn't strong enough to do anything but he knew it would still hurt.
Don't touch Ami again! I swear you better not hurt her!

Ami watched Leon attack Shayla. "I'll take that as a yes." she said, walking up the stairs after the two of them. She momentarily wondered why Leon had gotten so protective over her, but figured he was just doing it because she had done it for him. She stopped thinking about it and walked past Leon and Shayla into the apartment, figuring it was about lunch time.

Shayla felt something hit her head. Pretty hard, too. She turned, hearing Leon's voice, and glared at him with the expression of a hungry polar bear. "What.....did you say?" Shayla growled, a headache beginning to form. Her ears were throbbing, and she was becoming extremely ticked off. "I wasn't hurting her, you idiot! I wasn't even choking her! It was a ploy, an act, just to get you to understand! Look, she's fine!" Shayla yelled.

Leon looked dumbstruck. He slowly backed away from from the enraged shewolf. He started to walk backwards but tripped and fell on his butt.

Ami, listening to the yelling outside, sighed and began to prepare lunch. She began to fry some chicken, making a simple meal. After it was done she sat at the dining room table, waiting for everyone to come in before she served anything. She wondered who Leon was going to react when he found she had tricked him, and how Shayla would punish him.

Grumbling, Shayla walked towards the dining room. "Thanks, Ami." Shayla mumbled, eating some chicken. Leon could be such a jerk sometimes.

Leon slowly got up and walked into the apartment. He sat in the chair facing away from where Ami was. He took some bites of the chicken. It was the most wonderful thing he had ever eaten but he was hurt and betrayed so he didn't mention it to Ami. Leon couldn't understand why Ami would betray him like that. After finishing he slowly got up and sat down in the arm chair gasping from all the pain that was starting to rush back to him.

Ami, feeling extremely guilty walked over to Leon, who was obviously in pain and began to replace his bandages. "I'm sorry, Leon." she muttered. "I didn't know what I think I was doing. Can you ever forgive me?" she asked, finishing her work, but still kneeling next to him.

Leon looked down at Ami. He saw her sadness and imeadiately wanted to cheer her up. He could tell she felt guilty. He suddenly thought of Marco and realized how he felt when he looked at his crazy wolfgirl.
Of course i forgive you. Do you want to go shopping later? I guess i need to take Shayla, it would be better if you would come. Of course that has to wait till i can actually move.
Almost if as cue Leon suddenly leaned forward from the pain reaching him. His arm and legs were killing him and he screamed in pure pain again from overusing his muscles earlier.

Ami was filled with happiness when she was forgiven. But then Leon screamed again, and she reached forward, pulling him into a hug. "It's going to be okay." she whispered, holding him there is if she was trying to ease his pain. She looked at her bag and wondered for a moment if she had any painkillers.
