The slow was really unnerving John, as he knew that as a moving target he would be a lot harder to hit. After his attack, John decided to rid himself of the slow effect to use up a bit of energy in order to be a contender in battle.
"First Aid." John said quietly as a green glow emanated from his body, taking away the slow ailment and giving him a small amount of health back. It swept over him slowly and stopped just as Jenny had dodged his hammer and sent off her own attack.
"Northern Lights!" he heard as the familiar aurora borealis headed toward his current position. He was taught to never face away from his opponent in a battle: the opponent will take advantage of any weakness you have; keep them in your sights and attack aggressively and decisively.
John decided to not make it seem as if the status had worn off and feigned to still be caught by the slow effect. John resummoned his hammer back into his right hand and uttered the words, "Trine..." He summoned three planes of lightning one heading for the aurora borealis and the other two being behind Jenny's left and right shoulder. The two behind Jenny aimed for her current position while the one heading for the Northern Lights would only diffuse a little bit of energy.
After John cast his spell, he decided to give away his feigned slow status and ran straight at Jenny hoping to guide the rest of the Northern Lights spell into the ground as it was a spell that was shot high into the air.

The movement from John set off two of the hidden stars, both which fired a dazzling amount of energy in a sky-high explosion. Setting off the mines was one thing, but there was an entirely separate situation to worry about. Jenny managed to spin an dodge on of the bolts that traveled away but in doing so, her left shoulder brushed contact with the other bolt, staggering her.
Oww...
Jenny narrowed her eyes as Jorn rushed towards her, obviously no longer affected by the slow spell but still, he wasn't quite built for the attacking quickly or for the art of dodging. She just had to make sure she was always a little ahead of him. If she littered the battlefield with a barrage of spells, evading would be much harder... and nuking was her specialty. The mage quickly fell into a baskstep, keeping her eyes on her opponent before playing her spell. Graviga! The melody rolled forth, summoning a large wave of Gravity balls, each one capable of dealing damage proportional to John's current health.

There was no choice for John in dodging the barrage of gravity balls. It was really his fault for trying to bull rush the mage. Even though he was faster, getting close to Jenny would be a lot harder than he had initially thought. On instinct John curled himself into a ball in an effort to make himself a smaller target to hit. That failed.
John was hit by one of the balls and a fourth of his health instantly was depleted. The feeling was one of the more strange feelings that he had felt in a long time as it was extremely painful and indescribable to be essentially smooshed.
However, it seemed as if his initial plan would work. He noticed throughout the fight that he might not have been as quick to get out of the way of things, but he definitely was able to sprint a little bit faster than she.
A normal attacker would never dream of running forward again, but this would be John's way to catch her off her guard. He sprinted forward and when he was close enough to Jenny, John jumped into the air and yelled, "Fatal Impact!"
John then would attempt to land a blow upon Jenny's current position aided by the force of 9.8 m/s^2 of awesome-force. The attack if dodged would send off electricity as splatter damage as was his passive ability.

He's still rushing forward?! Jenny looked on in certain disbelief, she could've sworn one or two of her mass effect gravity spells hit John. I guess he has no choice, he needs to land a hit. His advantage is in physical damage and that's how he can win... but still- shoot! Jenny jumped back, allowing her to dodge most of the first impact, but wasn't quite ready to take on the aftermath.
Jenny felt the quick slashes of pain across her forearms before she let the song envelop her. Teleport! The mage seemed to fizzle out of view right before John's eyes. She appeared a little ways behind him and behind all the chaos though even she couldn't deny that the last attack had caused quite a bit of damage and she had dodge the brunt of it and had teleported out before any more damage could be done. Imagine if that has connected!
'We can't let this drag on much longer.' 'Agreed.' The musician summoned forth the music, opening several giant voids in ceiling. A number of meteors spilled outwards, larger in size and more numerous in count. She wasn't going to take anymore chances.

"Still casting Magic are you!?!?" John said in a frenzy as the meteors came raining down upon him. "Here we go, get some!" John sprinted attempting to avoid the meteors, and got to the edge of one of the areas of impact when one of the meteors crashed into him square in the back. John flew forward and fell like a rock. However, bloodied and bruised, he used all of his effort to get up off the ground and got within range of Jenny for another attack.
This time John lurched forward toward Jenny and yelled, "Thunder Break!" John summoned a ball of lightning and in one swing he smacked the ball toward Jenny's current position. It split up into many different balls as it traveled a bit of a distance to get to her.

"Of course, we're both still standing after all," after a wave of gravity spells and a cosmic regurgitation of meteors, the hammer wielder perceivably still had a lot of fight within him. Blood, she wasn't a fan of blood but either way, she couldn't give up now. She hated the feeling of electricity coursing through her body, its wasn't a very pleasant experience. In fact, she wasn't terribly fond of a gigantic hammer in her face either. Now that she thought about it, she'd probably preferred getting stabbed with a sword than getting all her bones shattered from the impact of a blunt object. Oh Jenny, we all know mending bones is simple but growing them anew is the painful part...
Reflectga! The space before the mage wavered and shimmered as the barrier was summoned into place. The orbs of lightning smashed against it with such force that Jenny was sure the barrier would break under its weight. She could begin to feel the tingling sensation up her arms but true to her spell, it launched non-elemental energy right back towards John. Jenny shook her arms as if trying to dispel the lasting tingling sensation of electricity as she planned out her next move.

John was running out of magic... he knew that. However, he did have enough left for a few more decent attacks, and he also knew that because of his build, the time mage didn't have much more than he did especially since he had been using physical attacks as well as magical attacks.
He had enough in him to dig through it until he would be knocked unconscious. His will as a fighter would keep him until the end when his health would run dry.
John once again lifted his arm quickly and shouted "Trine!" as the non-elemental damage exploded with the triangular plane in front of him and two more triangular planes of lightning came at Jenny from the sides of her.

((Sorry this took so long, got caught up with the beginning of school and sickness and I searched forever for the right piece of music ><;; and it's 4a.m. I'm totally sleeping ._____.)) Fudge, fudge, fudgeeeee.... He was still standing, up and running and still firing lobs of magic at her. She could tell he was almost at his limit, but so was she. Jenny was now in a continuous back step, trying her best to avoid attacks. Her limbs were feeling heavy and rather rubbery, and if she made one wrong step, she'd be on her face (or butt, given the direction she'd fall in) and then it'd be over. Imagine that, losing the battle due to tripping over a piece of debris... priceless. John was built with more endurance than she and thus, it didn't take a genius to figure out who'd be the victor of the battle. 'If you give up now, I will make you regret the next time you summon me.'[Cue: Ashielf Extended]I'm so tired! And there's that one attack again! She whined to Siren as she slid her body forward and to the side to avoid the first before subtly arching her body backwards. She could feel the prickly sensation of the electricity dance atop her skin as she held her breath. 'Fri-' She exhaled and felt the electricity reach outward, looking for a grounding and that's when she felt it bite into her skin. She bit down on her lip hard enough to draw blood as if it'd ease the pain. It wasn't quite as simple as that, she felt her mind blank-
A simple voice drifted through her mind, it was elegant and soft like and ocean current or the dancing of wind upon the waves. It took Jenny a second to put a name to a voice, though it really shouldn't have been that difficult. Silks rustled through the mage's mind, adding its own ambiance to the voice. Everything seemed warm for a second as time seemed to pass by frame by frame through Jenny's eyes. She could see the jumps of the electrical current, she could make out the strands of her hair that flew up around her face as she seemed to fall."Elysia... pure of heart~" Then a glyph exploded outwards from where she stood, seemingly frozen in that moment of falling as she seemed to gravitate upwards. Time froze, everything ticking to a standstill until the silence was enveloped by the music. As the main rune faded in luminescence smaller glyphs dotted the ground in numbers, golden like wheat fields dusted by the stars. Finally, similar colored runes filled the sky like a dome, encircling an area much like a planetarium. "Elysian Fields..."
Simultaneously, each of the glyphs exploded into a brilliant display of aether in the frozen time. Each blast radiated warmth as specks of energy floated across the field as each rune burst forth. Jenny could feel the music and energy weave between her fingertips as she heard Siren's song drift from her, tugging at her magic. Then time resumed right as the last blasts died into mere specks of colored light. The melody evanesced and with it, Siren's ethereal voice. Her eyes remained closed, the musician was far too tired to open her eyes... if John was still standing and going to strike her down, then at that point he deserved to win.

[Cue - From the Heart]The dome of energy above John looked marvelous, and immediately, he knew that he would be defeated... and this was going to hurt... real bad. There came a time and place for everything, and John's actions would be acceptance of his loss to a superior fighter... but it went deeper for him than a simple loss. There seemed to have been a bond formed between he and Jenny as he noticed the both of them were bloodied and beaten. They both had shared a similar experience, and understood why and what was to happen with their respective futures.
The stars look beautiful tonight Ixion... ...funny.In his mind, the explosions were silent as he gazed in awe at the array of colors that were pluming toward his position. He had never really admired the mage's work until now: this was mostly because he was so focused upon the simple "win". Now, a win meant very little for John. He had been taught that everything would happen for a reason, and that sometimes it was better to just let things fall into place as they should. Attacking Jenny now would kill the connection they had developed throughout; it would show that he was only out for his own self interest, and would show that he did not understand the concept of losing; it would show he felt nothing at all for her well being...
The pain was nullified mentally by his thoughts: no physical pain he suffered in this life would ever amount to his will to return from whence he came. His family, his love, and his home were the things that drove him every day to become stronger and better than before so that he could continue to live his life.
John did not know how long he had blacked out for, but when he finally was awake, he went over to Jenny to congratulate her. The going part was a very painful effort to get to his feet and a slow shuffle over to her.
"Alright dear," John spat out happily in pain, "You win then. No hard feelings obviously. Aww, what the heck gimme a hug dear!"
John opened his arms wide and grimaced a bit with pain but continued to smile through it all. Surrender was easier than he had expected.

Anthony's Stats: Attack Strength: 14 (13+1) Attack Speed: 10 Magic Strength: 5 Magic Defense: 12 Guard Strength: 13 Evasive Reflexes: 10 Outright Speed: 8 (7+1) Constitutional Endurance: 13 Energy: 7 Added Limit Break: [Level 3] Lightning Barrage – After coating his body with lightning, Anthony dashes at his opponent and delivers several combinations of punches and kicks, each strike causing an explosion of electricity damage. Finally, he leaps into the air, unsheathes and tosses his sword at his opponent, impaling his enemy’s chest. Then, as a final attack, he shoots a critical amount of lighting out of his hands at his sword, which acts as a conductor and sends an intense amount of electricity coursing through the opponent’s body. [Level 4] Rapidity - Anthony's Outright Speed is permanently increased by one, even being able to go over the normal limit. [Level 5] Blitzkrieg – After coating his body and weapon with lightning, Anthony begins by charging at his opponent, followed by Double-Strike (fast two-hot combo). He first slashes down, then up. As he slashes up, he releases his sword, tossing it into the air with his right hand, then he upper cuts with his left fist, then follows through with a right hook, into a spinning kick that launches the opponent into the air. Each attack causes an explosion of electricity damage. By this time, his sword is in reaching distance. He grabs his sword and charges it with intense electricity while he waits until his opponent is in range, then swings, slicing through the opponent and sending a critical amount of electricity coursing through the enemy’s body. [Level 6] Relentless Slash – Anthony charges his weapon with minor electricity before dashing at his opponent and releasing a barrage of attacks, each strike causing an explosion of electricity damage. He then leaps back, this time charging his weapon with medium electricity, then dashes at the opponent and launches the enemy into the air with the blunt end of his weapon and releases a barrage of mid-air attacks, each strike causing an explosion of electricity damage. Finally, while still in mid-air, Anthony charges his weapon for the finale time, but this time with intense levels of electricity, and perform one finale strike through his opponent that sends a large amount of electricity coursing through the enemy’s body, inflicting critical damage. Halloween Town: Cemetery [Anthony ~.~ Halloween Town ~.~ Cemetery][Cue: Halloween Town]Halloween Town... The home to those who hide beneath your beds and 'cases, the scary clowns with tear-away faces, the who when you call out "who's there" in the dead of night, and the shadows that fill your dreams to the brim with fright. This is Halloween, with a color scheme of red and black and slimy-green. Aren't you scared...? ...you soon will be... An eerie silence filled the air around Halloween Town, except for the occasion howling of the wind. The only sources of light in the town were the dimly lit candles in the carved pumpkins and the large illuminated moon hovering over it. A thick fog floated just inches above the ground, imitating a vapor-like blanket that spread across the floor. The cemetery was exceptionally creepy this begrimed night. Once filled with the living dead, moving status, and troublesome trick-o-treaters, was now as lifeless as its name implied... except for two individual, a boy and a girl, who broke the silence that filled the cemetery. Anthony stepped into view, shortly followed by Noelle. The boy looked different than he normal would. For starters, his ears were longer and pointier and he no longer had eyebrows or a beard, but instead a pair of sideburns, specifically mutton chops that were straighter and softer, more like regular hair rather than facial hair. The hairs on his body were different as well. They were much thicker and longer, like a fur coat. His nose was still pretty human, but a bit larger and sharper, and his teeth sharpened to a point (for a better idea, click here). His hands, fingers, toes, and feet seemed deformed; much longer than they normal are. His feet were so much longer that his toes had burst forth and out of the caps of his shoes. He walked on the balls and tips of his feet, with his heels in the air and his legs at an angle, as if squatting as he moved forward. The nails on his toes and fingertips were longer and curved, much like claws. That wasn't all. Sticking out of his pants was a long, wolf-like tail. Anthony's attire had changed as well. His color scheme changed from black, red, and yellow to orange, black, and white. His jacket, now opened and exposing his wolf-like chest, had orange netted sleeves while the rest of his jacket was black, except for his hood which was white. He no longer had gloves or forearm protectors, but instead had a pair of metallic prison clamps (the chain that once connected the two snapped in half and dangling on the sides) around his wrists. His overleggings were black and the shorts beneath them were white. The belts that crossed in front of his overleggings in an X-fashion and pockets were orange. And his shoes were now black and white as well, except for his shoe caps, which were orange. Anthony walked further into the cemetery, grumbling and rubbing his cheek, an impression of a flaring red handprint across his face. "I didn't mean bikini, woman!" he growled, turning to face Noelle. "I meant bathing suit! Bikini just sort of slipped out. I wouldn't wanna see you in one anyway."
