 Kazuki arrived back at the Sand village pretty quickly thanks to Shiki's prodding. He immediately headed to the training canyons to practice his skills. He figured he would just need to get better for the sake of his team and himself. He had stopped by home and had spoken with his family about what had happened. His father had agreed with his decision and had come out to help him train.
"Ok son, remember that we talked about you improving your lightning skills but first we need to improve your strength and speed." Kazuki sighed at his father's statement but he nodded. "Ok then what's first?" His father smiled. "Oh, your doing both at the same time. This will be very rigorous but I'm confident you can do it."
5 minutes later, Kazuki was already in pain and agony. His father had given him ten pound weights for his legs and told to run up a mountain trail that went for about 10 miles. As he was doing this he also had to pull a heavy cart about his own weight up with him. He hadn't even gone a quarter of a mile and he was already out of breath and strength. His father was sitting on the side of the trail reading an old copy of an orange book. He was laughing to himself while reading. Kazuki felt as though he was laughing at him but he knew that those Make-out Paradise books were popular for their humor. He struggled on for another two miles before collapsing. His father had walked with with him taking his time, but keeping a close eye on his son's progress. He helped him up and encouraged him to continue. By the time Kazuki had made it to the three mile mark he was exhausted. He had spent an entire day to go three miles pulling 140 lbs. and carrying 20 lbs on his legs. He couldn't feel his legs, they just felt numb. He slept like a rock that night.
The next morning he was woken up at daybreak by his father. The rock that had given Kazuki his shelter from the wind had a ledge which his father made him do sit-ups off of until his stomach felt like it would explode. Next, he was made to do pull-ups til his arms were ready to fall off. After these grueling exercises, Kazuki wolfed through a large breakfast of steak, eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. His father set him up for pulling the cart and weighing down his legs telling him if he didn't finish today he wouldn't get dinner. Kazuki's eyes seemed to flare at this and for two miles he pulled with a fervor his father hadn't seen before.
He began to run out steam after another mile though and stopped to rest around noon. He had already passed his previous standpoint from the previous day and he was halfway done with the hike. He strove forward with a pace in mind, thinking of nothing else for the rest of the day until he finished his hike with some daylight to spare. His father congratulated him on a job well done. Kazuki looked up at his father, smiled and asked him if he could do the same going the way back but double the weight on his legs. His father laughed and agreed but first said that he needed more training before they continue. They settled down for the night and Kazuki once again slept like a log.

 FourThe silent figure perched himself in one of the nearby trees, I guess now would be a good time to let them know... He thought, keeping an eye on Kazuki, Kiri, and Akeru. The new Kazekage had entrusted in the jounin to assess the two main squads in the village and to rearrange them as he pleased. He had decided it would be best to separate Ichiru and Kazuki, which brought him here, he would have to become their new leader with the recent disappearance of their former one. He let out a sigh, leaping from the tree and landing between Akeru and Akira. Four extended his hand, as to show that he was not a threat to their physical bodies, however, their minds were open game if they were to try anything.

Within every illusion, there is reality"  As a new figure landed near them, Akeru nearly jumped out of her skin. Usually, she was much more aware, but after her emotional moment, she hadn't really started focusing on paying attention to her surroundings yet. She looked at the Jonin, the surprise still apparent on her face. W-was he here the whole time? D-did he see all of that?"There was a clear look of discomfort on her face as she hoped he didn't see her in such a vulnerable moment. If he was another Genin, she would have probably got angry and yelled at him, but with this guy being a Jonin, Akeru knew better. "U-Um...w-who are you? And...errr...how long have you been there?"

FourFour kept silent for a couple more seconds, this one had a lot of emotional baggage, he would have to break her down to nothing to fix her weaknesses. "I've been assessing teams in Suna for the last three days. I followed you and the others all the way through the first round, even sitting in on it. You're too cocky, you almost failed out in the first round cause you waited so long." He said blankly holding out his assessment notebook, a massive 4 etched into its cover. "I'm your new jonin, and as I have said before, I have assessed the teams and have rearranged them to my bidding. I even have the first mission for Team Four." He flipped open the book, showing a picture of each member of their team, his own at the center of the page, a deal smaller than the three that sat below. Along with the pictures, the genin's names appeared at the bottom of their picture. "Sukami Akeru, Kiri of the Sand, and... Habaragi Kazuki. Akira is being switched with Kazuki."

Can become a great hurricane"  "Switched? Well that was unexpected..."Akira figured that he and Akeru were going to be partners for a while, and had already gotten used to most of her quirks. But he didn't think it would be too horrible if they were on separate teams. It didn't mean they would never work together again. "If that is what you think is best, then fine."Akira turned to Akeru. He hoped that this wouldn't adversely effect her, but she was strong, so he knew she would make it through anything. "I guess we aren't partners anymore, AKeru, but we're still friends of course! I'm still willing to help you train whenever you need it...just try to go easy on me when you do, okay? Plus, maybe I can convince my father to help you on a few things...but just to be warned, he's definitely not one to go easy on people..."

Within every illusion, there is reality" This was completely unfair! Just as she had began to like Akira, they were going to get separated! She would have complained about it, but she learned early in life that complaining about a jonin's decision to that jonin was an unwise choice. However, one thing that she couldn't let pass was the fact that he said she almost failed the first part of the exam. That wasn't true at all, she was in complete control. "I was completely aware of the time when I waited to answer the question! I mean, so many of those were such basic knowledge questions that they weren't worth answering! It didn't prove anything but the fact that you could talk faster and louder than everyone else, something I already know about myself..."Akeru turned to Akira as he spoke, smiling at the fact that he wouldn't just up and ditch her now that they weren't partners anymore. "Sure, and I'm going to hold you to that, Akira! Oh, and don't worry about your old man, I'm sure I can handle anything he can dish out!"((gtg))

FourFour turned the page and showed it to the team once more, a picture of Akira sat next to the new Kazekage. "Actually, Akira will be aiding us in our first mission. We will be escorting the new Kazekage Tanto to the chunin exams, we will also be given the task of watching the final round of the exams, and should anything happen, we will report to the Kazekage to help protect him as well as the other kages."

Kazuki heard his name being called and he stopped training. He looked at his dad who nodded."We'll continue when you get back."Kazuki nodded and went over to where the man had jumped to.
He ran up to the group, noticing Akira and Akeru as well as the new guy. "Hey, I'm Kazuki. Now what did you say? I might not have heard correctly. I'm with who now?" He didn't try to sound irritated, it just came out that way.

Can become a great hurricane" Akira chuckled as he heard that he would be a part of the mission as well, and it was to go to the chunin exams. He had wanted to go watch, especially since he could use what he learned there to prepare when he took his own chunin exam. Plus, he kind of just wanted to see some fights. But he had convinced himself it wasn't wise to skip all the training time he would miss if he did go. Having an actual mission was an excellent justification, though. "Well, I definitely don't have a problem with being able to see the exams! Plus I can make sure Akeru behaves herself with her new team..."Luckily for Akira, he never really carried much with him on missions. It made him able to move on a moment's notice without having to go home to prepare. "Well you already know Kazuki, Akeru, but you probably haven't seen Kiri yet. She actually is around here somewhere, I was just talking to her."

FourFour Held up two fingers, pointing at the two girls, Akeru and Kiri. "After what happened at the chunin exams... Shiki, Tanto, and I think some time away from Ichite-ru would do you two some good. He seems to have lost all faith he had in you as a friend or a leader for that matter." He didn't want to sound mean to the kid, but it was the truth, he saw it with his own eyes, not to mention him being apprehended by that sound genin, that made the whole trip worth it. "Don't worry, if the time comes when you two might get along you may become teammates again, but that will be a long time from now. For now your leadership position will be in the capable hands of Akira." He gave a small smile that was blocked by the scarf around his neck. The jonin saw it as the best option for both teams and what he said in the matter was law.

Within every illusion, there is reality" "I don't need you around to make sure I 'behave myself', Akira..."She looked over to Akira with a mischievous smile. "'Cause we all know I won't either way! Still, it'll be good to have on last mission together."AKeru looked at Kazuki as he made his way over to the group. He was the leader of his last group, so she wondered if this made him leader now. Or if this was a demotion for him missing that simple question. If this was a day ago, Akeru probably would have teased him to no end about it. But seeing as she had her own tase of failure as well, she decided to hold her tongue. "Hey, Kazuki! There's been a restructuring of the Suna genin teams. Now we're going to be fighting together! They swapped wind for lightning...eh, I still think both are pretty common. Anyway, Jonin sir that has yet to tell us his name, since Kazuki was the leader of his last team, does that mean he's leader of our team too? Personally, I think I should be the leader...But I suppose Kazuki would be a good choice too..."

Kazuki tightened his fists. He didn't like the change, not because he didn't think Akira was a bad leader but because he was being taken from his squad. What hurt more was the fact that his fears had been confirmed. Ichite-re had lost all faith in him as both a leader and a friend. He didn't talk back or make any other reaction to his statement because he knew that he was still a genin. Orders from higher ups were to be obeyed and not argued with.
"Alright then. I've already met Akeru but I haven't met this Kiri yet."He let his other feelings go for now. He needed to focus on this new mission. "When do we leave for this mission? I'm prepared to go whenever."

 Tanto The nearly masked man walked calmly and slowly walked out onto the training grounds. Heading straight for the jounin and the four genin, he held up a single hand summoning up just enough chakra to bring forth a clone that walked next two him. As he neared them the two drew their swords and pointed them at Akeru and Kazuki's throats. "I am not particularly pleased with your representation of the Sand Village, without a doubt the Raikage is laughing how his Assassin Genin made it through without a problem." He let out a sigh and sheathed his sword, "you both failed during your supposed best events, you Kazuki in the written portion, and you Akeru during the combat portion. Let's just hope that Ichi can salvage what little faith I have left in your generation."

FourFour held up four fingers and muttered, "My name is etched onto the cover of that notebook... You can call me Four." As the new kazekage arrived he took a step back, giving the former bodyguard all the room he needed to talk to the genin.

Kazuki was taken aback by this guy. He didn't flinch from the blade at his throat but was a little nervous.This must be the new Kazekage, Tanto that we're supposed to protect. He doesn't seem like he needs protection though...He did perk up from his statement though."Hiyo and Ichi made it through the second round? What about Kyou?"
