Harata never slept. The wound forbid her to. She went until she collapsed. And then the nightmares came, whispering, finding ways into her head till she though she would go mad with all the images, memories, and lies. Her parents dead from the disease, a young brother she had not managed to save, who came back to attack from the street king's den.

 Don't think I'm evil...
Bakar awakened from his sleep, and slipped out of the blanket quietly so as not to disturb Evelyn. He walked over to the nub spellcasting section, and pulled out several books on deflecting small objects with his telekinesis, and made them all float in front of him so that he could read them all at once. "I must master this skill today," he thought to himself, as he raced through the books before him.
As he finished one of the pages, a book on the nearest shelf caught his eye, "How To Find The Light," and he mentally moved it towards Harata. "That one should definitely help you! I know that you'll learn this spell today~! I can feel it!" Bakar smiled at Harata, then continued to read his multiple books.

Evelyn awoke quietly, noticing Bakar's absence. She frowned slightly, until she heard him and Harata talking. She pulled the blanket up around her head, like a cape and pulled a book out of her bag, then began reading.

Don't think I'm evil...
Having finished reading his books, Bakar turns his attention to the book in Evelyn's hand, and uses minor telekinesis to make it float away as he giggles.

Bakar decides to drop his finished books on himself to test out his new skill, minor deflect.
As his spell is successful, Bakar smiles happily, relieved that he didn't end up with a pile of books on his head and a headache.

Bakar gives back the book. "Okies. I was just bored crying I learned a new spell, and wanted to have some fun" XD Bakar slides out another 5 books and starts reading them, his mind overflowing with racing thoughts.

((Gah! still unable to get on as much as the rest of you...i havent even had Xeiashi start on a new skill or anything *hits head on wall*))
...And again Xeiashi tried to cast Glue on the piece of paper, he had given up on it for a while, but only recently remembered the potential uses for glue...like...( sweatdrop )pranks and stuff. 'Kay then...visualisation is key...sticking to my hand....NOW! he thought as he tried once more. In the force of his concentration, he didn't realise that he created a momentary ball of light as well as making the paper into an adhesive. "Done..." he said as his small light ball disappated, "Now the moment of truth..."
He hovered his hand over the tabletop, fearing that he messed up again. With a sudden burst of inspiration, he slammed his hand into the table; making a loud *bang* in the process. Nothing felt different about the paper, though when he tried raising his hand...he couldn't. "YEAH!...Oh come ON!" he said rather loudly as he realized that his hand was stuck to the paper...which was stuck to the table. With his free hand he opened the 'Glue' book, reading that 'generally, a beginner's Glue spell will last for 24 hours before becoming inneffective, later finesse will allow the caster to predetermine the approximate time of adhesion.'
Xeiashi closed the book with a sigh, "Great...now I'm stuck here for an entire day..." To pass the time, he reached for the nearest bookshelf; it was still a foot or two away from his outstretched hand. He tried hauling the table over, though that failed worse than his preliminary spells back in the day. With a mental 'Meh...', he decided upon his still-uncertain TK to get a book. He focused as hard as one can with a table stuck to their hand, and thankfully managed to levitate a book to within his reach. It was 'How to be Bouncy!' and in his weakness, Xeiashi opened it and began to read.
