User Image Alexander yawned when some light hit his eyes and put an arm over them, realizing it was morning and he needed to get up. As he did get up, he remembered the events of last night and smiled. He'd need to take a bath soon, so he started looking for the bathes.

Kalas looked up at the door leading to the baths. He sighed and went inside. After undressing, he put on a white shirt that went down to his knees and got into the water. In the middle of the bath area, a black obelisk stood. He stopped before it, the water reaching up to his waist, and started to perform the movements to purify his soul and hopefully, awaken more of his dragon power.

User ImageAs Alexander moved through the hall, at one door he heard movement on the other side. He got curious and took a peek inside, opening the door just enough so he could see inside. As he took a look through the slit of light, he saw Kalas in a bath, moving in strange ways. He saw that the water only came up to his waist, and he could only imagine what lay under the water. He needed to take a bath, and Kalas was in there. Alexander knocked quietly on the door as he slide it open as he asked, "Could I join you, Kalas? I haven't bathed in a while." He blushed slightly, remembering he'd slept with Kalas crushed against his chest.

Kalas was slightly annoyed that his concentration was starting to waver as Alexander came near him. "I'm not bathing. I'm doing my purification rites. If you want to take a bath, go ahead, but do it quietly." He replied sharply before returning his attention to the obelisk and resumed the movements. He did this for about three more minutes and then stopped. He bowed to the obelisk and slowly exhaled. ...Hm...once again, my prayer falls on deaf ears.... What am I doing wrong? Is it truly because I have too much human blood in me? No, I refuse to believe that! He stood up straight and and turned towards Alexander. "...? What?" He tilted his head to the side.

User Image Alexander walked over to the bath, stripped and got in. "Nothing," he said. "Nothing at all." He walked over to Kalas and ran one of his hands along the other's shoulder. He saw a sad look take over Kalas' features and he frowned at this. "Why are you sad?" he said as he brushed a finger over the other's lips.

Kalas stiffened as Alexander touched his shoulder. I really don't need this... "That's none of your-" He paused mid-sentence, realizing that saying such a thing would only confused and rile the other more. "... ...my purification rites failed. Every time I return to my temple, I perform them, asking forgiveness from the Dragon Council. Also, it awakens a dragon's powers. My inner dragon...refuses to awaken. Every 100 years, I try and try again, but it never works..." He stopped as he felt somethign on his face. Raising his hand, he wiped away somethign clear. Am I...crying?

User ImageAlexander looked at him in shock. There was so much he didn't know yet about dragons and their workings, but he knew that Kalas was someone worth giving a try. He then saw the tear that fell from his eyes and pulled him into a tight embrace, smoothing his hair as the other cried. "It's okay. You are perfect the way you are." Alexander said as he looked into Kalas' eyes.

Kalas looked up at Alexander. He sighed, wiping the tears off his face. "You're the second person to have told me that." He leaned against the other. "There's no reason for me to stay in this room any longer." He stepped back, leaving the room to go to the dressing room.

User ImageAlexander looked after him until he disappeared from sight and began to bathe himself in the water. Once he was done, he went to the dressing room and grabbed a robe and put it on. The second person, he thought, I bet I know the first. Maybe I should just stop worrying over him, he obviously doesn't have much interest in me. His thoughts went dead as he heard a load sound somewhere close by.

Kalas looked up as he thought he heard a load noise. "What the- What did that idiot knock over now?!" He returned to the bathing rooms. "Oi, idiot, what did you just break?"

User ImageAlexander ran over to see where the noise had come from and found a vase and some furniture turn over and cracked on the floor. What happened in here? He thought. It's looks like someone ransacked the place. "Kalas! I think your temple has been ransacked. Come quick!" He called out, knowing the dragon could hear him from wherever he was. When Kalas arrived there he spoke in a quiet voice, "Where has your dad gone off to? He disappeared."

Kalas looked around at the destruction. Someone...ransacked...my temple!? He gave a low scowl. "That idiot-man? He's not here? Strange. Usually, he's passed out in his room drunk." He scanned the room again. "Only a fool would dare desecrate a dragon's temple, or maybe a genius who knows the temple's dragon has no power..." He then took off towards his father's room. "Yo, drunkard!" He kicked the door open.

When Kalas kicked the door down, there was no one in the small room except for a bed, some sake bottles and a giant bright blue dragon twirling along the walls. The darkness comsumed the figure hiding deep within the shadowous room. It was one of the dragon hunter's from China. His features evil and deslote in the darkend space.

Alexander had been following Kalas when something caught his eye. It shined like the suns brightness over flowing from place. When he got closer to it, he noticed it was a white obelisk, like the one in the bath except this one was very bright white, almost enough to blind someone. Was someone looking for this? he thought, poking it. Or was it placed here to distract someone? He heard something move to his left and followed it.

Kalas gasped. "How did you get in here? There's suposed to be a barrier around this place!" He quickly scanned around for a weapon.

The hunter smirked at him, rising and walking over to the little piece of light coming from the door. He chuckled and looked directly at Kalas. "There are many things that shoud be around here, young dragon, but the barrier has weakened over time. You no longer have the of safety around here and you might as well thank your keeper for this." He waved over to his right and there on the floor was an unconscienous Lief.

Alexander found the source of the noise next to the bath. A screeching, dragging sound came from the entrance to the bath and he crept towards it, careful not to make any noise. He peeked in and saw a small man, about the size of two watermelon's, picked up the black obelisk and started to drag it out of the water. "No!" He exclaimed, before he realized he spoke. "Don't touch that!" He ran over to the midget and grabbed the obelisk from his hands.
