Matsuya started quickly moving his pencil back and forth inbetween his fingers, hitting the desk every time it went down. "One at a time please." Matsuya's stress was apparent. "Ok, Sev first. Yes, you can go to Kiri with my permission. Just hop onto the first boat you see and ask for a ride. Tell the boatmen that Matsuya sent you, they'll know who I am." Matsuya gave Sev a slight wink. "Oh, and don't talk to strangers." Matsuya grined and looked at Vincent next. "I know. he came by the Memorial Park to retrieve his student. His name is Shou. If you see him in the village again, tell me. He's a nuisance. And as for your Sharingan, I don't know of how you can advance in it. As far as I know, you must be in a life or death situation to advance it. But that's all I've ever gathered from my own personal research." Matsuya looked at Luna next. "Good job. Take a breather, get some lunch. I'll have more to do when you get back." Matsuya sighed, running his hand through his hair again. "Tia, you can do what you want for the moment. I can't hold you back while you're in the village, we both know that." Matsuya continued taking notes. He was almost done with this step of the process.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama," Vincent bowed, "Also I respectfully request a C-rank mission to aid in my eligibility for the coming Chunnin exam."

She bowed and on her way out she handed Tia a file "Acocrding to this, he was knocked out protecting his sister from falling debri in the attack. Thank you for the help." She bowed to Tia and walked out. EXIT

Matsuya sighed, laying his head on the desk. "Vincent....I don't know. Maybe someone needs a document delievered to a neighbor. I can't leave the village and unless you find Daichi, or Tia consents to going, neither can you." Matsuya sighed again, looking up slightly at the people who were still in his office.

"I understand, Hokage-sama," Vincent bowed. He picked up the scrolls given to him by Shou and left the room. Given that the Chunnin exams would be coming up he decided to head out and find Daichi but first he decided to head back home.

Sev blinked. "T-thank you Hokage-sama." Without hesitation or a second thought he turned on his toes and ran out the door. Then he had a second thought and ran back in, ran past everyone still in the office, and jumped out the window with a huge smile on his face.

Tia sighed and leaned against the wall behind her."Wow. Your pretty stressed.Is there any way I can help you?"She hated seeing him like this. So much had happened in a short amount of time and it was starting to overwhelm him.She continued leaning against the wall and waited for his reply.

Matsuya sighed, putting his head down on his desk. The cool wood made his head feel a little better. "Maybe. I hear from my men that there are a few new academy students around the village." Matsuya smirked, but his head was still down so he doubted she would see it. "And it just so happens that I only have one chunin. Go work your magic and train them up, won't you?" Matsuya chuckled a little bit. "Just the basics. No fancy stuff. I can do that later."

Tia sighed."I hope you know I hate you."She said smiling."I need to round up the little children then teach them."She said.She walked over to him and patted his back."It's okay. You don't have to worry about your little Academy Students.I'll take care of them."She was still smiling slightly as she walked out the door to round up the kiddies.

 Hatake HiashiKonoha | Hatake Clan | Academy Student Running with excitement in hsi step, Hiashi made his way to the Hokage's Office as fast as he could, which for him was pretty darned fast. He was ready for this and had been for a very long time. Today, he was confident that he would become a Genin and then finally he could be on his way to being like his idol. Walking up the stairs, Hiashi made his way down the long winding corridor until he came to the Hokage's office.
Taking a deep breath, Hiashi prepared himself and was about to knock on the door as it was opened by a girl from the other side. Quickly moving aside, Hiashi allowed her to pass as he took the opportunity, stopping the door from closing as he pushed it open and took a step into the room. "Ummm, Hokage-sama? I ummm, was wondering. Well, I jsut finished the qualifications to take the test and become a Genin. Do you think maybe you can give me the test? I have every confidence that I can pass it."

Matsuya raised his head slowly to look at the boy. "Hiashi, right? Sorry, Im not good with names. I'm a faces guy." Matsuya sighed and raised the rest of his body. "I suppose I can give you the test. It's actually very simple. Just one question." Matsuya leaned back a little in his chair. "Here it is. Do you know what it means to be a shinobi? I know, it seems like an easy answer. But think about it. Give me your honest answer." Matsuya looked at the boy, waiting.

Hatake HiashiKonoha | Hatake Clan | Academy Student Hiashi said nothing at first, neither confirming or denying that his name was in fact Hiashi, he was a bit nervous to be speaking to the Hokage directly. He was however honored that the Hokage would remember his name and it gave him a good amount of courage to work further into the room as he listened to the question the Hokage had given him. Thinking briefly, Hiashi took his time answer him, wanting to make sure that what he said was truly how he felt.
"To be a shinobi is to conceal one's self, or to steal away. We may congregate in the villages, but we work to serve the people of our nation, or anyone who comes to ask for our help. We work from the shadows to maintain the peace of the citizens and the country we protect, and to assure that the next generation will survive and thrive. As my idol, Kakashi-senpai was once quoted as saying, "The next generation will always surpass the previous one. It's one of the never-ending cycles in life.". A shinobi's aim is to both fulfill that philosophy and asure that the next generation has the same chance." Hiashi then stopped, having gotten very serious as he spoke his beliefs to the Hokage, and was ready to defend them.

Matsuya raised his eyebrows as the boy stated his answer. But Matsuya didn't do this out of disrespect for Hiashi, quite the opposite. "Well...I've asked that same question to a number of academy students during my year in this office. But I must say, yours is one of the most accurate." Matsuya leaned backa bit further, crossing his arms as he did. A wide smile crossed his face. "Congratulations as of today you, Hiashi Hatake, are a genin. I'm sure you'll be able to handle your duties to the fullest of your ability." Matsuya gave the boy a slight nod of congratulations.

Hatake HiashiKonoha | Hatake Clan | Academy Student Had Hiashi not controlled himself, he might have started to cry at the response he had gotten from the Hokage. Inside, his heart was going wild and he was ready to burst with the feeling of accomplishment that was welling up inside him. He had finally passed the exam after all these years, and it was his idols very words, which he had taken to heart long ago that had allowed him to pass. Controlling himself from bursting out in thanks, Hiashi allowed only a small smile and a brief laugh as he looked up at the Hokage with confidence...
"Thank you sir. I am honored to hear such words from you. I will do everything in my power to make sure that I live up to the expectations of this village and of you as well. May I ask who my teacher will be ? If I'm going to surpass my idol and enter the Black Ops, I've got some serious training to do." Hiashi finished his last statement with a bit of a playful grin, knowing that he was getting ahead of himself by stating such things, but he wanted the Hokage to know his goals and that he was ready to begin actively pursuing them with all of his ability.

Matsuya thought for a moment. "I'm not sure. My personal squad has an opening. And I suppose I can lead two of them if need be. I could be your teacher if you wish. I haven't heard from my Sannin for a few weeks, so I'll have to speak with him. But in the end, the choice is yours." Matsuya looked at his desk. There was the half complete psychological profile on Haseo. It would be a reminder of his failure until he finished it. "I can always lend you a few scrolls if you need them. But the library should have most of what you need."
