Rosel cursed inwardly as a tremor went across her shoulders. Pain lanced through her body, and she managed to confine the small amount of trembling to her hand. She didn't need movement to direct the lightning, and it didn't matter what the wench saw and would no doubt choose to interpret as trembles of fear, she would be dead soon anyway. One lucky shot, just one lucky shot... Rosel was simply unlucky enough to have not gotten it by now. At least the fire was dying down, thanks to Aeos and the almost continual waves of ice. The sweat caused by it now trickled over chilled skin, an uncomfortable contrast to the hot stickyness oozing from the blazing wound across her back.
With a startling movement, the wench pushed back a sharp wind, pushing back the debris and charred wood from around her and Rosel. What a moronic thing to do; now the wench had nothing to hide behind. Their eyes locked and Rosel could have laughed. Eyes the color of honey, sickly sweet honey, attempted to convey a hatred they were unsuited for. Rosel met that hatred with a smirk and barked a laugh though the wind between them.
Granted, it was a disappointment when her lightning was blocked, but eventually the wench would run out of things to pull up, and then she'd be in trouble. Debris and random objects were pulled back into the sphere of wind, flying about. It seemed her wind was only useful when there was something she could throw with it.
The wardrobe, however, was another story. The smaller items she could blast away easily, but thousands of burning splinters flying about wasn't much better than a whole wardrobe. Slabs of ice in her peripheral vision drew her gaze and relief like she never thought she'd feel swept over her when Aeos handily redirected the wardrobe. Immediately, lightning scattered about her, blasting things back to the walls and dissolving that which was either flamable or meltable.
Her biggest bolt, however, lanced toward the wench, aim perfect. Rosel sneered and lowered her chin. Her lucky shot at last? Just maybe.

Noel sighed, knowing that look on Ergo's face. He didn't want to be here, he didn't want to just sit by. Ergo.. If you want to go down there, then I shall take you..
He stood, holding out his hand. If he were to transform into the clouds like he sometimes did, he could get his dear friend there faster.
I.. I know you don't want to stay around here with me.. T'is not your nature, so I will take you to where the action is, if it will make you happy.
Another glare emitted from Fulmine's eyes, and he tried to stay civil. "He's at the inn, waiting for his so, called Lover to return." He scoffed at this, hating how he was expected to act.
This was not the time, nor the place to question why Keanu never returned to Cuire, and it was not his business either. But he swore, one false move, and Keanu, just like Ergo, would find an arrow in his throat.

Ergo looked at his friend, his dearest friend, his closest friend, the first one to make him feel the way he did now since the traveller could remember. Maybe the Boy knew of a time, or the Trickster, but not Ergo. All he knew right now was that he felt... right here. His eyes were not his own for a moment, a mixture of pain and pleasure and utter terror. Then he blinked. A quick motion, and the three different people reflected in his eyes were gone, and he was just himself again. "No. I stay here, with you, where I belong, not where I want to be."
He took his friend's offered hand, smiling as he always did. "I do want to stay here, with you. More than you know. And stay I shall. Now, again. Dinner time, yes?"

Large, swollen tears welled up in Noel's eyes as Ergo spoke so softly, so kindly to him. He looked away, trying to hide his overwhelming emotions. Someone other than his family truly wanted to stay by his side... HIS side!
Ergo.. tiny mist letters formed, just big enough to be seen, right before Noel wrapped his arms around the traveler, hiding his eyes against his shoulder. He sobbed into it, happy to alone no longer.

Frei continued his attempts to put out the flames as he lept from place to place, dodging debris. He had made his attempt at trying to figure out what was going on. He couldn't understand why Nashara was attacking the others. Weren't they supposed to be the bad guys? He was deeply confused. But he forged on, making his way out of the Inn. But he wasn't without injury. He could feel blood trickling down his arms where splintered wood had piereced their surfaces. Once outside, free of the smoke and flames, he began plucky the wood from his flesh. He grimaced in pain as he did so. That's when he spotted Haveni. She was alright! He was glad to see that. The way she was holding onto that man, Noctis was it, it seemed she'd grown rather attached to what Frei would have called her 'abductors'. Now he wasn't sure what to think. He wished to ask her himself. He walked over, unsure if she would recognize him from when he was standing next to Eisha and Ro'ark, back in the Lost Village when Noctis had carried her away. "Excuse me, Haveni. I know you don't know me, but....I wanted to know. Are these people....taking care of you?" He gestured at Noctis, and referred to his traveling companions.

Ergo slung his arms around Noel, in a move that felt rather natural, and rocked him back and forth through his sobs, enjoying the moment."You are a fool, Ergo. A fool to fall in love, and a fool to think it could end well." Skryre's eyes flicked over the embracing couple, quickly and unsteadily. It was a nearly tender moment.
Nearly.
His crystal ball flashed in quick little strobes with his beating heart, and Skryre soon turned and winged away, over the city. The boy spoke to him, too, but Skryre was too curious to resist the call, unlike Ergo. He was as much of an adventurer as that softie down at the temple, and with three times the drive and twice the mettle. He would see what was happening at the inn, he would document it, and when the time came that they met, he would gloat over it to Ergo.
The shore soon dropped away beneath him, and the steady breeze he rode took up all Skryre's concentration. As he neared the center of town, the smell of smoke filled his nose, and his pupils contracted delightfully at the flares of bright color. The light in his arms quickly coalesced into the roughest rendition of an eye, and it began to document everything in the area: Sounds, sights, people... like the two on what looked like the blacksmith's shop not far away. Fascinating, indeed. He took them into account, watching them with his own two eyes as his orb did the rest.

Jadecrystal didn't know what was going on.
Her vision seemed to blurr as she became dizzy...
"What's wrong with me?" she managed to get out quietly.
"How am I to know?!" the small ghost-cat snarled, floating around Jade's head.
(Jade is bordering on going crazy, so she needs to get cursed and I will have an excuse for having a psycho Holy Beast running around.)

"o-oh!" Haveni was a little startled that someone else was there, quickly looking to Frei. Her cheeks became slightly pink at being found in such a way. "O-oh.. uhm..w-well...he put a bandage on my head." Hoping that would answer his question, she gave a nervous little smile and pointed to the coat-bandage which was wrapped across her wound.
Why was it that everytime someone approached her lately, she felt like she might have to flee for her life? She was frightened, inside. Frightened because she frightened others, yet the ones she stayed with now were not afraid of her. Not really...
Her body tensed, and she instinctively backed up towards Noctis again, keeping wary eyes on Frei. "You are..from the lost village," she murmured. More panic in her heart. Had they formed a hunting party?

Keanu took a step back as his gaze met Fulmine's glare. He had usually been polite with him even kind sometimes but right now his eyes said another thing. How ever Keanu was relieved Curie was not there and that he was back at the inn, right now Noel's inn was the safest place to be. "Very well, glad to hear he is safe" the warmth in his voice banished and was replaced by some kind of..stiffness which was weird on him " and just what is that supposed to mean Fulmine? Las time i checked this was just between Cuire and me" Keanu usually avoided fights but the tone in which Fulmine had said it...well he didn't liked it. "I have my reasons for not going back right now and i'll explain that to Cuire once i go back.." he added this more softly taking care to keep his voice as polite as possible after all, he did not wanted to have an argument with Cuire's brother...for Cuire's sake that was

Noel felt the arms around him, and pulled Ergo closer to him. Please.. Don't.. Don't leave me again.. I hate being away from you.. Each time you leave.. I.. It hurts so much..
"It's my business when my brother cries of sorrow rings through the kitchen at night. To leave without even saying good bye, you are the worst. But as you said, You'll explain it to him. Let's just hope he'll still wait for you."
Fire burned in his eyes, as well as illuminating the burning building behind him. with an almost distasteful flare, he turned from the group.
"My job here seems to be finished. I shall go back to Noel."
((Oh~ I'd loved to see a cursed Fulmine. XDD))

She felt the anger and frustration rolling off her guardian in tangible waves before she heard the silent curses under his breath, pulling her to a stop far more effectively than anything he could have thought of intentionally. She had caused someone upset and that was something she just couldn’t bear.
So she endured his harsh words and lecture, realizing that everything he said was true, and had she been less impulsive and thought about it for a moment she would have come to the same conclusions herself. She whimpered softly.
She felt ‘Mine go stiff and thought it was her fault and he was going to punish her when she heard his voice. She perked up at the mention of her sister. “Cempa!” She yelled, seeming to have forgotten that she was still being held.
Blushing a bit and feeling guilty that she had probably hurt Mine’s ears with her cry she scrambled down and met her sister halfway. “Are you hurt? What happened? You’re here, and safe.” Words just seemed to spill out as she clung to her sister trying to make sure this was real and not just some dream.
She took notice of the burns. “You were hurt. Why didn’t you get these taken care of?” A yawn escaped and she realized just how tired she was, how emotionally drained from the long day. Cempa looked about the same. “It’s getting late. How about we go back to the Temple? I bet ‘El probably has dinner ready for us by now.”
Holding gently to her sister's hand she pulled her over to 'Mine. "'Mine?
Shouldn't we be getting back to the Temple?"

"Oh that's good to hear. I thought they had kidnapped you," Frei replied, noticing that he was making her slightly uncomfortable. "Erm, yes I'm from the Lost Village, but... it's actually rather nice now. I mean, since Eisha helped us rebuild, and all. It's not too bad a town really," he answered, hoping that it would make Haveni feel a little more at ease. "I'm just glad you're safe and all. They way they ran off with you like that, I wasn't so sure." He offered a reassuring smile. He wasn't going to pry anymore, satisfied with her replies. "But then I wonder....with is that lady who set the Inn a-blaze after you...." he trailed off, staring back at the burning building. More confusion set in as he contemplated what Nashara wanted.
A little ball of water appeared above Frei's palm as he turned toward the building. "Perhaps I should try and be of assistance, in putting this fire out. Thank you for your time Lady Candle Maker." He gave a slight bow. "And I hope they continue to take good care of you." He eyed Noctis, one blue eye and one green, staring up at him, and then turned to leave.
He said he was going to rain out the fire, or at least try with what little water out of the atmosphere he could summon. Of course he wasn't sure how he was going to be any help when a fight was still going on inside. If it kept up though, and spread....well he didn't want to think about that.

Keanu felt as if something had pierced his heart. Sure he knew Cuire must be sad and all but...crying around at night? That never occurred to him! but then again...he should have expected him with a deep sigh she shook his head and let his hard down from the loose bun he had made earlier. When he looked up to answer to Fulmine he noticed he had turned, somethign inside of him started burning and his voice came out quite different "well if that's so ...then maybe cuire shouldn't keep waiting for me now should he?" he raised an eyebrow and wondered how the hell did he managed to say that?... well.. he loved cuire and he definitely deserved someone better than him, someone who could be with him when he needed. Keanu had developed a fondness for traveling and did not liked to feel attached...maybe this meant his relationship with Cuire would get even worse and he did not wanted to hurt the Chef..perhaps he should end it here and let cuire move on with someone else?
Taking no notice of the arguing Phyri and constellation the only thinc she could think of right now was her sister. she shook her head and smiles at her sister "im fine Azzy, really! n.n" she smiled reasuringly at her then looked at her hands "It's nothing, just a little burn it doesnt hurt! n.n" ever since little she had learned how to keep her emotions in check so she wouldn't bother her sister and that came quite handy right now cause those burn actually hurt and stinged a bit but it was no use worrying Azhure with that. She decided to not say nothign and just nodded at her sister "yea it's really dark now and we should go to sleep n.n" her eyes then turned back to Keanu but he didnt saw him, she looked around and saw him with the constelaltion that had been accompanying Azhure. "oh-uh..Azzy maybe we should let them talk"

"How dare you say that!" Fulmine raged, still trying to keep from grabbing Keanu. "He loves you, he's waiting for you, and if you're as much as an..." He ground his teeth together, keeping from saying what he honestly wanted to.
"If you .. Don't care about his feelings, then You DON'T deserve him. I won't tell him what he should and shouldn't do, I am NOONE'S messenger boy. You will break his heart, I won't." He turned his gazed to the small homunculus, smiling. "Yes, lets go back to the temple while it's still safe. I'm positive Noel has made us something delicious to eat."
