She quickly gave Roman room and let him keep the area by the window where the air would possibly keep away some of the smell that was clinging to her stained sleeves.
"I'm sorry. For both that and how I told you to leave earlier." She slumped into a plush chair as if she would not even put up a fight should he even give her a reason to. "I'll make it up to the girl. Do not worry about her. I'm going to be staying here for a few days more yet I think." Her head leaned back into the velvety softness.

-Micheal then was through the Window without a sound and he looked at the Ranger to make sure that it was her.-
"This has been a rather interesting night, are you hurt, harm... What can I do?"
-He didn't like the fact he chose to stay away for this event, and he didn't pry at all cause he chose not to.-

"No, I'm fine. This isn't my blood, it's-"
She shifted and forced herself to sit forward on the end of the chair as her wings had begun to complain already about how she was squishing them.
"It's someone else's." Prest's face was in her mind again. "There are two men lying dead on the first floor. One is Hanuvh. The other someone I didn't even know. His is whose bloodstains I have. Will always have. It all happened after I had you leave, Roman." She sat up trying to tell herself she was doing the best she could but she was too tired to convince herself. "It was all mostly my doing."

-Micheal pulled her closer so she could lean closer to him.-
"Let them drape off the edges of the arms if your going to res on them, they will feel more comfortable at least."
-he then looked at her sleeves of her shirt-
"That we can probably still try to was out."

"Wasn't Hanuvh, then one we need the information from?"
-Forgetting to mention anything about his events.-

She let her head sink forward against his stomach and stretched her wings out farther as he suggested.
"Burn the shirt," she said sharply. This was not one that she wanted to save. It was blood anyway. It was a fight to get blood out of anything. "And yes, Hanuvh was who I was trying to learn more from, but... a mistake was made on my part that killed him. An accident. My time's extended though. The first one, he was essentially the sacrifice for another year's time."

"I'll go get on of the extra ones from the Inn and let Old Ranger know where we are at thought his almighty wisdom probably already knows."

-He tried to process what was just told to him and with him he had to connect multiple events and stories and he smiled that her time was indeed extended, but they also didn't need the loss of what was their only source at the time.-
"So the bodies is the house hold going to take care of them or do Roman and I need to transfer them."

"Har har, Roman." Jay gave the younger vampire a sarcastic look but a joking one, something akin to the ranger he was used to. "Thank you for offering to let Volpone know. You really need to let up on the man," she added giving him a small shake of her head, trying not to smile at the way Roman continued to refer to him. It was not hard to do once Micheal brought up the dead men.
"They're being taken care of as we speak. The remainder of the house has been given their moment to visit with Lord Hanuvh one last time. As for the other man, Prest, no one knows anything of where he was from or if he has any family. The best I can do is give him a proper burial in place of those who would." If there was anyone. Jay sat up so she could see Micheal clearly. "Burial is tomorrow followed by appointing someone to carry on the activities of the cult as per Hanuvh's last wishes."
It just would have helped if she knew who Hanuvh had wanted to appoint.
"That might take a day to see what notes Hanuvh left behind." She waved a hand over the bookshelves in the room and the pile on the floor. "Looking around, a number of books in his collection relate to the Black Swan. I may be hear longer just going through Hanuvh's research to learn what he may have learned. And this is just what he has in this one house. The others say there is more in additional houses."

"Let up on what?" -he scratched his head as he briefly thought about it.- "Your saying it hurts his feelings when I call him Old Man, Hah then I wont, I need to kick someone around like a dog as well since I seem to be that ...blast dog when I am trying to help." -he hopped up on the window edge checking before he hopped out to head towards the Inn.-

What little smile the ranger had disappeared with Roman's self-depreciation. Little she said ever to him seemed to carry well anymore, if it did at all. Her memory fought to think of time that he smiled without sarcasm.
Jay jerked her head around to look at Micheal. "The funeral will be day. The appointing... shall be when I decide. The readings will be both." She did not see herself sleeping much over the next few days, much like she had not slept well over the last few. When Micheal mentioned the woman and her possible knowledge, she kept a curse from her lips. Had she known of this person a few days ago, her choice of sacrificial targets might have been much easier.
"So does she know your past then as well? Does she pose a threat?" the ranger asked with heavy intention.

"She would have to know the painting from fake the previous owner had." -He looked at Jay-
"Threat it's still early to tell, that's why I am going to meet with her to clear some things and questions, possibly cutting the fingers off the ones that DARE COPY THEM." -He had to swallow his growl considering he didn't feel comfortable in the current location.-
"She let me walk away tonight with an invite for tomorrow, I don't have to go but I would like to deter her from collecting any more for she my draw attention to her if Kiru does to decide on something."
