Cameron went to push Brigitte through the door, when a few officers came up the stairs, weapons drawn. He didn't bother. He turned to Brigitte with a sad look on his face. "Sorry." he said, holding up his hands and dropping the gun. But they didn't even look at him. They walked into the room, exchanging rounds with the others. "Never mind. Stay here." he told her, taking the gun and running inside. He ducked low to the ground, around some of the CPF officers and to Jon and Renee.
"Come on you two!" he said. It was the perfect distraction. "Roman, GO!" he shouted, holstering the pistol in his belt and taking both Jon and Renee's wrists, dragging them down so they could avoid the bullets whizzing through the air, moving them toward the door.

[Actually, there's two undercover officers there. What happened was Jon, Monet, Valentine, and Cam all entered the safe house. They were followed by explodingstaple's characters, both undercover CPF officers posing as runners. Then Asuka bursts through the door and shoots up the windows. Then you jump into the room, and cause some CPF officers to arrive as well.
Edit: Unless of course, in the ******** of posts, I misread something.]

[Asuka and staples are undercover Rangers, the CPF are gunning for Rangers right now, so they would probably shoot at Asuka anyway. CPF wouldn't shoot at the runners cause you haven't done anything, at least they don't know. ]

[.... sweatdrop I'm confused right now. I think we need to go back and re-do all of this, starting a little before I drew my gun on staple's characters...simply because I've been basing my posts off what I just wrote, which was the way I'm seeing this whole affair.]

[I'll summarize this for everyone:
staples and asuka are working for Hessler, cause they struck a deal. While Roman was pulling all the real CPF downtown. Hessler was acting on his own, independant of the CPF, and was caught redhanded when they spotted the Rangers in the area of the safehouse, with orders to take each other out. So when the real CPF arrived, they're thinking that you guys are civilians... With exception of Roman, who they were lying to ]

Roman shrugged the officer, who was staring at him directly in the eye. "Next time, do your own job," He said, hearing Cameron shout from nearby, "c'mon, I know a way out of here." The fighting was getting intense outside, it seemed like there we fights going on everywhere downtown. Looking over to Cam, Renee, Monet and the fourth traceur he didn't recognize, "sorry for the abrupt entrance, did I interrupt anything?"

"Saved our a** was more like it. I owe you. Big time." Cameron said seriously as he ducked around the corner. He would have closed the door, but with the gunfire inside, it was useless. Besides, the door had been kicked in.
"Lead the way. By the way, thanks for that timely entrance. What the hell is going on out there? It sounds like the riots all over again." he asked, holding his pistol at the ready, just in case.

"Some sort of CPF internal affair, the Hessler corporation funding the Rangers are attempting a coup d'etat," Roman sighed, "I just ended up being the minute-man for the government." Roman jumped down to street level, looking for his weapon-cache that he left beneath the building. "Take some ammo," he gestured to the group. Suddenly, he felt nauseous, stumbling forward, "looks like I'm on my last limbs," he muttered, breathing heavily.

Cam looked at the cache, walking over to it. He picked up a shotgun, looking at Roman.
"Hey, you alright?" he asked, dropping the shotgun and walking over to try and help keep his friend on his feet.
"Christ, you don't look too good." he commented.
