Charles grins at Annie, then waves his hand in Gidget's direction. The heat subsides and she calms back to a steady unconscious state. He whistles, and from the entrances of the party room come heavily armed guards, all adorned in black. They raise M-4 carbine weapons at the people still conscious, most of them concentrating their aim on Annie.
Charles barks out, "Three of you go secure some rubber gloves, the one down there with the knife is a conductor."
He calmly walks around the table toward Annie, "What I want, Ms. Soulsmith, I'm afraid to say is quite simple. I want...well, everything. I want to take advantage of what God has given me, and obtain as much as possible." He slowly approaches her and gently places a hand on her shoulder. His smile grows, "Ah, such delicious horrors you five present me." He lets go of her shoulder and backs away from her, "What of want from your lot is to cultivate the gifts you have. Especially...especially...the possibility of immortality."

She shuddered at the man's touch and stood up, "You may be able to knock out the others and have them at your disposal, but I won't be that easy to reign in. Let Gidget go at least and I... I will come willingly, even though, I think your an idiot for proposing the idea of immortality..."

Charles laughs aloud at Annie, hard enough in fact that his eyes begin to produce tears. The pacing of his laughing begins to slow down and he wipes his eyes. "Ms. Soulsmith, you are in absolutely no position to make demands of me. You are going to come quietly, or you will be gunned down. It makes no difference to me. Your power, as absolutely fascinating as it is, is far to unstable. You have no idea how dangerous you really are Ms. Soulsmith. Why, you've got the most dangerous power I've yet to come across."

Since Garret's had the food he hasn't taken a bite. He was concentrating more on trying to freeze the handle of his fork. Trying to gain control of his power. His hands were shoved under the table, holding the fork in both hands. He wasn't able to control his power fully for the entire two months he's had them. He was a little jealous of the others because they pretty much had them under control- He was snapped out of his thoughts by Gidget when she collapsed onto the floor, then Haro. Tansy was freaking out in her chair, over whelmed by everything pretty much. Annie was fighting with Charles.
Suddenley he had an idea, and started to fake like he too had been poisoned by the food. He pretended to black out and slid under the table. I have to make this work! He cried desperately to himself. GArret then squeezed his eyes shut, reached out to touch the support beam, concentrating so much on trying to get it to freeze it hurt. He began to whisper encouragement to himself. It wouldn't freeze. He couldn't panic, he just needed idea, and before he could think of one he stood up quickly and the table flew up. The food went everywhere, and he stared down Charles. "Don't touch my friends!" Both of Garret's hands began to slowly be incased in ice and the ice extended into long claws. Oh, now it works..and I look like edward scissor hands...

Annie knew Charles Ray was right and she gasped as Garret came up. So, he had been faking being passed out. "Garret!" She shouted, "You idiot! You're going to get yourself killed." She grabbed Garret's arm and glared at Charles and hissed, "You're right, I do have the most unstable and the most dangerous power of the group; however, my power is something, if mastered is something that has great potential for war fare and military uses. Gidget is a mechanic and can tinker with things, don't you have your own mechanics for things?"
She narrowed her eyes at him, "What would you rather, another mechanic? Or the next development in chemical warfare?" Annie hated the idea of her power being used to hurt people, but if she could save at least one of them, wouldn't it be worth it? Gidget is the youngest, and Annie felt the most protective towards her. The girl had been so trusting of the man, too.

The guards draw their gun's on Garrett, but Charles throws a hand up to stop them. He grins at both Garrett and Annie. "You poor ignorant fools. You don't realize what that child is capable of. She isn't just able to tinker with things. Her gift is to see parts as a whole. It just so happens that little Agatha really likes machines. Haven't you noticed that when she is in the middle of a project she shuts herself from the rest of you. She works like someone possessed until the task is done." His smile becomes something twisted and vile, "The best sort of employee is the type that completes any task given to them."
His smile fades away into a fierce grimace, "You bring up a very good point Ms. Soulsmith. I wont kill you or your frosty friend. However, If you don't come quietly, I'll be forced to manifest your absolutely delicious fears Ms. Soulsmith. I believe you know exactly what I'm talking about, don't you?"

Garret looked at Annie in shock, then back at Charles. He didn't know what posessed him to face Charles, Annie was right. He would just get himself killed. "Annie, don't listen to him!"

Annie paled, "You... you wouldn't..." Her brown eyes were huge and she grabbed Charles's shirt and hissed, "You know what is also made of water? 70 percent of the human body. How about I boil you while..."
She glanced over at Garret and she could see him screaming in pain- it seemed as real as if it was actually happening. Sobbing she let go of Charles and plopped down on the floor. "Please... please just don't hurt the others. Take me out even, just keep the others safe..." She wasn't sure who she was even pleading too, but she couldn't handle it. If her powers got out of control? Putting her face into her lap she kept sobbing.

What is he doing?! Does charles have a power as well? Garret thought gravely, He seems to be putting thoughts into their heads... "Annabella!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, in an attempt to snap her out of it and maybe the others too.

He glares at Garrett with malice, "It's no use boy. She's close to the breaking point, and if the fear overtakes her it will become real. Just like the waiter with the spiders. Now defrost yourself and do as your told."

"I won't let you destroy them! Take this you p***k!" Garret raised both arms, and the long ice blades on his fingers disconnected and launched themselves at Charles. He didnt't know where the attack came from, he just thought it and it happened.

Charles had not been expecting Garrett to be able to do that. As it was there was nothing he could do for the moment, he hadn't come in direct contact with him yet.
He throws himself to the ground, but not quick enough to avoid one of the shard embedding themselves in his left shoulder. He cries out in pain as one of the guards approaches Garrett from behind, bringing down the butt-stock of his rifle toward the back of Garrett's skull.

Suddenly the screams, Annie had been hearing of Garret and the others as her power was spiraling out of control stopped... She looked up, to see Charles Ray on the floor in front of her, she glared at him and closed her eyes as she quietly said, "Sir, remember ice is after all water..."
She grasped the ice shard in his shoulder and pulled it out, holding it above Charles Ray. Standing she dropped the ice shard onto the floor. Her eyes narrowed at him, and she said nothing, she knew she was helpless in this situation. Biting her lip, she knew she couldn't do anything, and silently angry tears welled up in her already red eyes. What could she do against him?

Garret took in a raspy breath and crumpled to his knees when the butt of one of the gaurds guns made contact with his skull. He watched Annie pull the shard out of Charles' shoulder, as his eyes closed and he fell face face down on the floor of the fancy restaurant.

Charles roars out in pain when the shard of ice is pulled from his arm. He looks up at Annie as she holds it over her head. The thud from Garrett's skull is little comfort to him now that he faced having his head corroded. He curses under his breath as his eyes meet hers.
He's then shocked to see her drop the shard. He smirks and stands up, grasping the wound in his shoulder. "You're kindness is in stark contrast to your volatile power. But your mercy is going to be the death of you." He looks to the guard that just attacked Garrett and says, "Restrain her, and cover her eyes. Someone give me there first-aid gauze!"

The teens awake to find themselves in steel holding cells. Tansy and Annie are in one, while Garrett and Ako are in the one next to it.
