Angel lie a sleep in the bed she would share with her sister, her body wrapped up and warm. She could feel her sister wasn't there though and she wondered where she was. Her blond hair was scattered across the bed as she slept wildly.

Ryu sighed, walking into the room where Angel was, and sat on the floor, watching her sleep. "Hey..." he whispered, "I'm gonna keep you safe all night, alright?"

Slowly she opened her eyes and looked at him, smiling at his comment. She patted the bed next to her, offering for him to come lie down with her. Angel smiled happily at him, but she had a sleepy smile.

He was shocked. He stood still for a minute, unsure of what to do. But, nonetheless, he sat beside her, laying down slowly. "There, see? Safe... all night!" he laughed.

Angel smiled again, resting her head against his shoulder. She took his hand, "I'm tired, but I don't want to fall asleep without my sister." She smiled at him. "Want to talk?"

He nodded, signing for her. "What about?" He uncovered his eyes, wanting to see her clearer.

Angel blushed and held his hand, sliding away just long enough to sign, "I like you too, but I'm not sure if it's because your the only guy I know or if it's because your... kind... funny... strong and like me."

He sighed, seeing that she had doubts. Of course. Human nature. "Oh..." he sighed, beginning to stand slowly. He didn't want to get too close if she was unsure... that would just hurt both of them.

Angel held onto him but then let go, she understood. "Good night." She signed, wondering if he would even see it. Angel turned and hid her head in the pillow trying to fall asleep.

He turned around just in time to see it, and he felt her holding onto him. He sighed again. Decisions, decisions. So hard. On one hand, he could let her slip away. On another, he could just hope for the best. "Oh... what the hell?" he asked light heartedly, jumping into the bed and smiling. "It doesn't matter if I'm the only guy... I trust you... and I know I like you for you... because if I didn't, I would've run already, right? When your sister threatened me?"

Angel smiled, wrapping her hand in his. "I guess, and I do like you, I like you a lot. I don't know, I guess I'm just afraid." She looked up at him, touching his face softly, "I promise I won't let you down."

He smiled, warmly. "I never thought you would... And I don't blame you for being scared... but just think of it this way. I'm blind... and you're mute. I complete you..." he signed, beginning to speak, "And you complete me." He turned a little red at how that sounded, but he knew it was true anyway.
