Raquel laughed slightly, fighting back her own tears as she came forward to catch her in a hug again. "I know-..its hard to believe..." She chocked a bit, just hugging her as Nat himself began losing it again in the background.
"...But I am here...I am alive and I dont plan on going anywhere for a good while..." She eased, though was feeling that overwhelmed feeling coming back again.

Damian watched quietly. It was awkward, yet utterly amazing to behold. Teagan, the rough-housing sharp-tongued woman, had been brought to tears he had never seen from her, and Raquel simply... was. That was all it took.
"Maybe we should sit on the couch and rest now," he suggested in a soft voice. "Wine, maybe, to calm us. Teagan, are you staying the night or do you plan on going to your other home?"
At first, Teagan hadn't quite caught his exact wording, but going over it once again, the words struck her. This could be considered her home as well... She'd never had luxurious doors opened like that to her before.
"I.. I don't know," she said, sniffling. "We'll see. Let's just spend some time together, yeah? Catch up on everything that's happened..."

Raquel sniffed and wiped her eyes smiling eagerly. "Yes...please tell me what I've missed!" She smiled, pulling Teagan towards the living room, though looked back to Damian, having to ell herself consciously that he was right there and wouldn't be going anywhere.
Nat thought said nothing as he simply stayed back, eyes still wet and hand over his mouth. He seemed as if he couldn't move really...

Teagan looked back to Nat as Raquel had looked to Damian. He was so struck... but they weren't far from each other, and would be fine.
As Raquel and her got to talking, Teagan told her of Lorey's pregnancy, Richard painting the room with sunflowers, of how the business she was running ha taken off so much with Nat helping her. She told her how they were going to be married whenever they managed to work it out, and of nearly everything she could think of... and every time she thought she was done, something new of course came bubbling out of her. So much time had been lost, and yet not long at all.

As Raquel sat wide eyed in the midst of catching up with everyone nad everything, Nat stepped forward, still unstable near Damian. "...I-its her...." He breathed under his breath, not able to take his eyes off her form on the couch next to his love. He laughed, then covered his mouth again in disbelief. "...Makes you believe in a God doesn't it...Or..Or maybe just pure luck...Or...I dont know....And I dont care...there she is..." He shook his head, his cheeks still stained with tears.

Damian shook his head ever so slightly as he, too, watched the women talk.
"Imagine how I feel... there's the love of my life, given back to me for some reason. I do not know what I did to deserve her, but yet I have her back..."
Damian turned to Nat, unashamed of the tears staining his cheeks.
"Cherish Teagan every single day you have with her. You truly have no idea what you have until it is permanently gone."
His words were so stiff and were more of a warning than comfort. If any of his suffering meant anything, it should have acted as a lesson.

Nat looked to Damian, a stern seriousness taking over his face as he solemnly nodded. "I pledged that the day we thought Raquel wasn't coming back...I dont plan on breaking it now... this was...a one in a million chance Damian.... You were both given a second chance... use it to the full..." his voice grew softer as the girls were laughing and jabbering in the back ground.
"...I'll get the wine..." He suddenly announced. "I'd usually suggest the champagne but I think a calming warm wine would be better for the moment hm?" He offered as he headed towards the wine cellar where he had helped Damian store some of the vineyards own wine.

Damian gave him a silent glance that was more questioning than angry. How could Nat not think that he would use it to the full? Already his attentions to Raquel were borderline obsessive. It took everything he had not to scoop her up and take her back to the bedroom where she could have quiet and safety.
But to save himself a possible conflict, he helped fetch the wine, and brought everything over to the women for enjoyment. It took no time at all before Damian was sitting close to Raquel with his arm around her waist. To not be in contact with her was to go mad all over again.

Raquel felt at ease again with Damian at her side once more, taking the wine gratefully, though sipped on it very lightly.
Nat took his place next to Teagan, finding his hand on hers the entire evening, finally loosening up and joining in on conversation.
The evening carried on and on as the four caught up and shared experiences. Raquel mostly just listened bright eyed, quiet with the exceptions of a few laughs and questions here and there. Though finally, after a few too many yawns, they decided maybe it was time to say goodnight.
"We'll have to get together with Lorey and Richard tomorrow..." Raquel promised, wanting to see her very pregnant friend as well. "Congratulations again you two..." She smiled, giving them each another big hug.

Teagan nodded, and assured her that they would see each other the very next day. Together, they'd go to see Lorey and Richard, and the baby.
Good-byes were kept short, since things were already weird enough. Everyone needed sleep, especially Teagan whose head was splitting from her crying and emotional outpouring.
As they walked out the front door, Teagan looked to Nat.
"You wanna stay at my place? Let those two have some real quiet..." Teagan did want them to have their space, but seeing the effect Raquel's appearance had on Damian made her want to have Nat close by. He was her baby, her darling, her hard-headed stubborn smart-a** fiance.
She loved him more than anything.
Just as Damian loved Raquel. Once the house was theirs again, Damian turned to his love and asked a very simple question that she had heard long ago:
"May I kiss you, Raquel?"

"Sounds like a plan to me...." Nat smiled and sighed, addmitting he too was drained in every aspect. It had been a strange yet wonderful evening, and he was readyt o jsut wall asleep with his love in his arms...permitting Teagan allowed him to stay that close when they got back.
He promised himself he'd behave. They were both to emotionally strung out to fool around too much anyhow...
Raquel waved the two goodbye then shut the door as Damian asked his question. Her eyes were soft nad glittering in the soft light as a gentle smile crossed her lips and her cheeks glowed a light subtle pink.
"...Yes..." She barely uttered as she gazed up at him with affectionate and emotionally overwhelmed eyes.

"Then let's go home."
Teagan took his hand, and together they walked to the speeder.
Back inside the house, Damian gave Raquel a tender kiss. He was trying so hard to retrace their steps in some effort to reestablish something, something they may have lost or were just starting to find again. He wasn't too sure, but it felt right.
"Want to go get some sleep?" he asked softly. "You look tired... especially after all that."

Raquel sighed, eyes closed as she thought. "Anythings fine...I was eventually going to vheck on the rest of the house...sort of get my baring again you know?" She laughed lightly, leaning into him. Really she was embarassed to admit, she was slightly afraid of falling asleep still at this point. She would try to doze off but end up rattled awake by the slightest thing, or warded off from her dreams by wrteched nightmares that made sleeping almost unbearable. That and there was still that subconscious fear she wouldnt wake up again...
She slipped her slender arms about Damians torso and breathed him in. "...It really has been a long time hasn't it?" She asked in a hushed voice.

Her question melted him to the core. As he slipped his arms around her, he could feel the bandages under her shirt again, and her breathing. This was all real. All real, and it could not be undone.
His suffering couldn't, though.
"You have no idea..." Damian kissed her forehead and rested his chin atop her head. "But then, you do. But we're here now. Together."

Raquel said nothing in reply at first. She merely buried her head into his chest a moment before pulling o n him to find somewhere more comfortable to retire. "...You know...we talked and talked about what everyone had been doing since I've been gone, though you were awfully quiet..." She noted softly, leaving his side just for a moment to go pick up the empty wine glasses from the coffee table.
