Biting her lip and sighing slightly, Lee turned away. "That's not fair... you're showing it off on purpose..." Just barely whimpering, she gave in pretty quickly, turning around to face him and happily feeling his stomach for herself. "Hmmm... You should put your shirt back down... Really..." She made no attempt to back away, however, smiling slightly at how well toned his muscles were.

Rory leaned down and kissed her gently. "You love it when I show off fae you. Admit it, lover." He led her back to Kettle, tossing the blanket on the horse's back. "I'll give you a boost." He held his hands down for her to step into.

She didn't answer him, simply because it was somewhat true. Following the boy over to Kettle, a slightly guilty expression on her face for having given into temptation so easily, she used Rory's hands to climb onto the horse's back, scooting forward to give Rory enough room to climb on easily.

Rory unhitched Kettle and expertly swung up behind her, scooting up close and snug against her. A click of his tongue had the horse on its way back to Farstep's stables.

Purposefully sliding farther back, getting even more snug against Rory, Lee smiled faintly to herself, considering it pay back for enticing her with his abs.

Rory made a soft happy growl in his throat, definitely not minding the closeness. At the stable, he helped her down and handed her the box to toss in the nearest trashcan, then rode Kettle back around to his stall. It didn't take long for the boy to reappear at the front of the stables, giving Lee his usual lopsided grin.

Giving the boy a coy smile as he approached, she waved flirtatiously before giggling at herself and taking his hand. "We should prolly check on Lauss, yeah?" Hopefully he'd eaten today, and it would probably be best if he spent the majority of the day with Rhian.

Lee's eyes widened a bit, having never heard the words spoken aloud. Nodding, she looked up at him, chuckling a bit before speaking. "Yeah, pretty much. Technically, I've known him his whole life." Hm. On second thought, she probably shouldn't have added that "technically" in there.

Relieved that Rory didn't seem to have any suspicions of Lauss what-so-ever, Lee walked the rest of the way in silence, simply because she didn't want to leak anymore information. Arriving at her vardo, Lee's eye was caught by a creme colored piece of paper partially sticking out from the underneath her door. Letting go of Rory's hand, she pushed the door open to reveal an envelope, one with a seal that she recognized as her father's. Looking worriedly to Rory, she picked it up, opening it to find a letter written on rather expensive looking stationary. Scanning over it quickly, she noted how much more it looked like a business letter than anything personal, and read on.Letter from Mister Katan To Miss Lee Katan and Mister Rory McCormick: Both my wife and I would like to thank you for the opportunity to meet with the two of you this week, as we both very much appreciated our time spent together. As a way of repaying your hospitality, please accept this invitation to join us for dinner in three days time. Both I and the wife would like the chance to speak with the both of you; in Lee’s case to catch up, in Rory’s to better acquaint ourselves. I apologize for the brevity of this letter, but I do hope it finds you well. We look forward to meeting with you soon. Sincerely, Mister Herbert Katan

"My dad's the one who sent it. Maybe if it'd been my mother, then you should've been worried." Tilting her head, she frowned a bit. "Does that mean you're not gonna go?" That wasn't to say she didn't have her own doubts. Her dad wasn't much of a schemer, but she wasn't about to believe he just wanted to chat. She was a little excited to get to see her old home without being obligated to live there, though, and worried it would be rude if she didn't go and he really was just trying to be friendly.

"Nae, I wanna gae," Rory said. "You got t' see all o' me world. I wanna chance t' see yours. Well, your ol' world." He pulled her over to kiss the top of her head. "You want me t' stay th' night or stay at me own place? Not sure how nervous you're feelin' about startin' work tomorrow."
