Even without her having to say it, I can definitely tell she is worried about Kenji. Kyoma pursed her lips, but then smiled, continuing to look towards Kenji and Death. "You know Kenji better than anyone else, right, Haru-chan?" Kyoma nodded, still holding her smile. I don't think you should worry, because even with wounds like those, he'll always have Haru-chan here to heal him! Besides, I don't think Death-sense would actually try to kill him!" She giggled looking to Haruko, "Right?" [Arigato Haru! I'm glad to be back, hehe!]

Haruko giggled at Kyoma's comment and smiled without looking away from the battle. "Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't worry so much I'm sure he'll do fine and thanks for having so much confidence in me. You're a great friend you know that?"

Kyoma giggled as a reply before turning back to the battle. Too bad I didn't get to go all out, though! She placed her right hand on her neck, where her pink ribbon was tied, and closed her eyes. This could've proven to be a great strength in this battle, but I guess it's for the best. She opened her eyes, smiling at the scene.

((Sorry for being away. Break was very busy for me. Oh, and I have a girlfriend now! Yay for me!!))
Death took the kick to the jaw and didn't even try to block. His head moved to the side with the hit and paused in place for a moment. The counter was good, but the target was poor. Death had done so much hand-to-hand fighting and been kicked in the face countless times already that one more was nothing to him. He hadn't even blinked when he was struck, that's how conditioned Death was. However, it still might have caused regular damage.
Rotating his head back forward, there was a crack from death's neck. That meant nothing as it was just a normal crack and not induced by the kick. Death then rotated his jaw and moved it with his hands while he listened for any unwanted sounds. Everything was in order and Death was fine, as expected. "Well that was a fun kick," Death commented.
Watching Haruko run to Kenji's aid, Death stood his ground to see how the pieces were moving about. Everything seemed logical until Haruko left Kenji. Why did she leave him? He's obviously not OK. Pondering the situation, Death's conclusion was that there must have been some deeper plan, but from who? Anyone could make a counter on Death, Haruko and Kyoma could probably do long range protection and Kenji must have more tricks at the ready. Death needed a plan, and quick.
Death decided to play dumb. It wouldn't surprise anyone if Death fell into a trap, he did that all the time. In fact, Death has fallen into his own traps in the past, which is why he no longer lays them (physically). Whatever his foes were plotting, they obviously wanted Death to aim for Kenji. "Are you still trying to figure out how to organize yourselves?" Death played along and continued what he had done before. "You should have learned by now that no configuration is truly safe, and here you've given me an easy target!" Death's plan began....
His glare moving upon the downed and lonely Kenji, Death stepped forward and began to charge at Kenji. "This is how you do real taijutsu!" Death yelled as he approached his target. Leaping into the air, Death prepared to stomp upon Kenji's head to put him out for the rest of the fight. As he came down upon his foe, he disappeared at the last second.
Without delay, Death hit the ground, landing upon his scarf. Death was back where he started and was ready for what he hoped to be the last few moves. Pulling the four shuriken out of his scarf, which had previously pinned it to the ground, Death threw them all at Kenji. Their journey was sent along a tall arc that would give Death a little extra time. He aimed for the upper back and the arm closest to himself in hopes of disabling Kenji far enough so that he would forfeit but not anything unrepairable.
"And now it ends!" As the shuriken neared their target, Death focused his energy to perform the last step of his plan. This step had been set up already and would increase the success rate of the entire plot. Quickly focusing his energy, Death held out his left arm, blood down and into his hand now form the slice earlier. "I told you that you'd pay, and how better than this?"
Black electricity flowed from Death's arm and shot itself as one concentrated bullet directly at Death's blood on Kenji's face. When the black electricity touched it, the chakra in Death's blood caused the black electricity to grow and multiply so to speak. It grew a storm of doom upon his foe's face, a truly disabling blow. This strike was closely followed by the arrival of the shuriken.

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | GeninKenji knew that Haruko, in her attempt to help, had almost certainly ruined everything. He couldn't blame her in the end... they had started the fight as a team, but the battle had shifted once Kenji felt nature being attacked and destroyed. It was his fight now, and all the plans were coming to a finale. Kenji tried to make the pain look real, but only a fool would not notice that Haruko leaving while he was still injured was suspect. What surprised him however was that Death continued to attack him, jsut like he had figured he would do.
Fidgeting amidst the pain of the black electricity in his leg, Kenji watched Death taunt him out of the corner of his eye and saw him leap into the air to deliver a crushing blow to his head. Subtly, Kenji turned his body away from Death, making it look like he was writhing in agony as he placed his hands in a seal and waited for Death's attack to just barely contact him before his Water Cicada skill took effect. As Death's knee was an inch from his face, the thin level of water around his legs moved up over his body as he readied himself to leave the clone in his place on contact... but there was none.
Death had vanished, only to reappear a short distance away, quickly unleashing several shuriken and a bullet of black electricity right at his head... "Damn... now this won't be half as effective, but it is too late." As the bolt of electricity hit, the technique was released and a gushing splash of water rose up from where Kenji used to be, exploding into the air just as the four shuriken flew through and struck the ground where Kenji had been.
"Rakurai!" The sound came from just behind Death, about 10 feet off behind his right side where Kenji had appeared after exploding in a blast of water. With his left hand holding the hilt of his blade, Kenji's right hand was extended forward, his finger pointing at Death's back as a stream of electricity formed over his arm and shot forward in a 1 foot long bolt from his fingertip. Just then Kenji's hand moved to his face as he clutched at the area where Death had bled on him. Pain began to grow inexplicably as Kenji was brought to the ground, clutching his face in agony.
Death attack had succeeded in depositing the smallest amount of black electricity to his blood on Kenji's face, and although it's initial growth was slow... after Kenji had finished his technique, the black electricity had expanded enough to finally be felt. Kenji let out a scream as the pain intensified, causing him to bring his other hand to his face as he rolled around on the ground growling in pain on the ground through clenched teeth to avoid screaming like a maniac. The pain only got worse over time however as the technique continued to grow, feeling as if the technique was draining his very life from him. After a few more seconds, Kenji stopped moving... having passed out from the pain of the attack and all of the previous injuries he had been fighting through during the course of their fight.
"Always to protect...never to harm."

Kenji's move was well executed, to be able to avoid an attack after a quick change like that takes a good amount of skill. Death was happy with this newcomer, he had talent in him. And that talent needed to be watched, Kenji was quick in his moves and clever in his plans. Hearing his sparring partner, Death turned to his right to find a lightning bolt nearly upon him. In a quick defensive attempt, Death raised his right arm to confront the attack. Black electricity flowed down into his arm, but it was a little late in its arrival.
Kenji's electric bolt struck Death's hand at the same time that Death's black electricity flowed into his hand. The attack successfully flowed through all of Death's fingers before it was stopped. There were slight burn marks on the tips of Death's fingers and the electric shock left his hand a little twitchy. Seeing the slight, involuntary movements, Death commented, "Nice one, my hand's weirding out!" Rather than fearing the spasm, Death enjoyed it... he was strange like that.
Looking up, Death saw the effect of his move take place. Kenji was probably terrified since the anti-energy was like nothing else and hurt in unimaginable methods. It was a phenomenon of energy that even Death feared being hit with. "That's going to ache in the morning," Death said as he approached Kenji who was now silently lying on the ground. "Well that was fun, he was a good opponent. I'll have to officially welcome him into the village when he wakes up."

Haruko gasp in horror as she watched the last part of the fight unfold. 'This was way too intense, if I didn't know that this was a practise, I would've surely thought that this was a battle between life and death.' Seeing that the battle was finally over, Haruko quickly ran over to attend to Kenji's and Death's injuries. Reaching the two, Haruko quickly assessed the situation and relaxed knowing that there weren't any permanant damage to either of them. "Death, should I heal your hand first seeing how Kenji-san's wounds will probably take longer?"

Kyoma followed Haruko to Death and Kenji and rubbed the back of her head as she stared down at the unconscious Kenji. "Wow, Death-sensei, that was epic." She turned to him, giving a nervous laugh.

Each article of clothing of Death's which had changed color during the fight gently faded back to what they normally were. Death even returned his scarf to its home upon his neck. In a flash, Death retied the knot perfectly. For some strange reason, Death's greatest talent was in knot tying and similar activities. It was mostly useless, but helpful since he used his scarf so much in battles.
In response to Haruko, Death looked down at his arms, not knowing which she was referring to. His right was still suffering slight electroshock in his fingers, and his left had blood dripping off it. The twitching of his fingers convinced Death to offer Haruko his left arm for repair. Being Death, he wanted to let his hand twitch for a while longer. "Thanks Haruko. Kenji should be fine after some sleep, I didn't actually do any physical damage. He will be sore though, and extremely achy."
With a smile, attention shifted to Kyoma. Death was like a dog, he seemed to have ADHD and always listened to whoever was doing the most praising. "Thanks, maybe you could be epic some day, too. Just don't follow in my footsteps, even I know that's a bad idea." As epic as Death and his powers were, they came with a huge price. Also, Death had very limited ways to actually do real damage to anybody. As seen from the fight, Death's powers could only effect energy. It was a strong, but limited ability.

Haruko watched Death curiously as he began checking out his body for wounds, 'Oh right, he has a dull sense of touch. It must be hard for him to locate flesh wounds that aren't bleeding.' When Death offered his arm, Haruko began forming the handsigns required for her healing technique. With her hands glowing a pale apple green, Haruko nodded in response to Death's statement before healing his outer wounds first. 'His left hand's bleeding and it seems something might be wrong with his right as well, I didn't notice the twitching earlier due to my light panic.' After she finished healing up Death's left arm, she motioned for Death to let her heal his right arm as well.
"There, done." Haruko stepped away from Death and began to scan Kenji for any other injuries besides his leg. 'There's obviously the wound he caused himself but other than that, Death's right in saying he didn't do any physical damage to him. Instead it was Kenji who inflicted the wound on himself. Great technique though.' Haruko quickly healed up his hand before walking back over to where Kyoma and Death were. "Death-sensei, since Kenji's now an offical ninja of this village, I guess there's no harm in letting him stay in the common house then? Its like you said, he just requires some rest and I don't think waking up in the hospital after such an epic fight with you is going to make him feel any better. I'm sure waking up in a room will be much more comforting of sorts? So what do you say?"

((Sorry for not being around again, this is why I need a crew to help run things.))
After reluctantly allowing Haruko to heal the twitching, Death watched Haruko heal Kenji. Haruko's idea was good, Death himself disliked hospitals so he quickly sided with her argument. "Good idea. We'll let him sleep for a while without being disturbed. When he wakes up I'd like to talk to him though." Walking up to the unconscious citizen, Death lifted him up and threw him over his shoulder. "Ready when you are!"

{No problem, I've been really busy as well so I'm keeping a lot of students waiting. I feel really bad about it. Hopefully I'll find time to do a posting rush and reply to all of them by the end of tonight. Nice name for the traven thought. Insanity Taven, I like it. smile }
Haruko watched as Death single-handedly lifted Kenji onto his back and nodded. "Alright, lets get going then."

The field was relatively calm to Aisu, no surprises could pop out of anywhere so if someone were to attack her, at least she'd know ahead of time. As she approached the field, she dropped her bag and walked deeper into it, still terribly nervous. "I don't like fighting... I wonder why these types of things always tend to happen to me?" Aisu plopped on the ground and began to think of multiple strategies that she could use with her three simple jutsus. Not much though. Unless she were to use her punching one. Either way though, her teacher most probably had more than one trick up her sleeve as well. "Okay! I guess I can't be nervous. It would probably be bad and ruin my chances if I were to chicken out." Aisu waited patiently for her sensei to arrive...
(Sorry for the late reply, I got distracted...)
