Oh. Well crap. She saw the snakes and instantly yelled, "Flip with me!" Vaya, I don't wanna get poisoned! And I don't know if I can lift this guy up using my own strength. She jumped to flip backwards, pulling Fin along with her. He jumped to help her do that stunt so that neither of them would get bitten by the snake. Once done, she ended up landing on top of Fin, ready to push off and face Xu. Sorry dude, but at least you didn't get bitten by that snake.
"Thanks for cushion, Fin," she called, as she aimed a kick to Xu's head. At least with a kick, she was in a perfect position to jump away or dodge whatever the man threw at her.

Fin growled in pain from the surprise hug, but was more worried about the vines with ******** thorns and toxins coming in after them. He contemplated forcing Adela to take the hit, but she had a different idea, and it seemed like a better one.
He jumped with her and landed on his chest on the ground. Then her weight fell on him as well and he gasped as air escaped his lung.
He grunted, "Thanks for the hug." he grumbled back and pushed himself to his feet.

What Adela did surprised Xu. He had not expected Adela to pull off such a drastic maneuver. But that was only momentarily, for as soon as they landed, the vine was already dashing towards them. They had landed a good distance away from Xu.
As Adela jumped to kick, Xu made another vine pop from the ground, attempting to grab Adela's leg as it flew to through the air. Whether or not it succeeded in halting Adela's kick, Xu had the first vine move in also. If the second one grabbed Adela's foot, it would stop immobility and the first could intoxicate her.

Adela was starting to really really dislike snakes. Since she'd already been about to kick Xu, she was able to dodge the flying snake by cartwheeling off to the side. "Sorry about this!" She wanted to stay off the ground and still be able to attack Xu. So she tried doing what she did to M earlier - she jumped straight at Xu so she'd do a hand stand on his head and force a headache.

"MotherofGodandSweetBabyJesus!" Finnegan blurted out.
Finnegan gave a mighty push with his arms and tucked his feet below him. He pushed up with his feet, using the little momentum he gained from the push with his arms, and jumped high (though not unfathomably high) into the air, over the vines, backwards. He tuck his knees to his chest and gripped them with his arms as he flipped backwards and landed on his feet just outside the vine's trap.
"Damn! That hurt! What the hell did you do, lass?" he said as he caught his balance.

These people are full of surprises...
Somehow, Adela was able to land on Xu's head. Then, an ensuing headache came. The headache caused Xu to lose focus. Everything became a blur and the vines in the area became berserk; flailing around haphazardly and tearing up the floor.
What is this? What is she doing to me?
The energy seemed to be coming from her hand. Though Xu lost control of the Vines, he still had enough sense on him to know that he needed to get her off. And fast! The vines were crazy now and he was unable to control them, especially since he was having a massive seizure.
But what can I do? She physically surpasses me...
He then had an idea. He ran, or rather stumbled forward, before attempting to roll, forcing Adela to either lose balance and get off, or to fall under him on the ground. Either way, she would, hopefully, get off.

Adela yelped, but pushed off Xu's head and landed away from the two guys. "All I did was give you a hug Fin," she said, "a rather big hug. And maybe rip the muscles slightly..." If he took off his shirt, he would see a dark purple ring around his arms and chest area - right where she'd hugged him. "I promise to fix it later!"
Now that she was balanced on the ground, she was a tad bit worried. She'd just made both guys rather mad at her. She didn't want to think of having to fight them both off at the same time. "Or you know, I could fix your injuries now and then keep going." And not have you guys beat up lil' ol' me.

Finnegan backed well away from the thrashing vines, gripping his chest, "Dammit, just fix me up, lass." he said, seeming rather annoyed, but not too angry.
I'll get her back. he thought, a smile coming to his face, Just not now.

As soon as Adela jumped off, Xu`s headache immediately lessened. And with it, the vines started to become less and less violent.
Ouch...
Xu brought up his hands to rub his temples, trying to relieve himself of the aftermath of the seizure. After rubbing it for a few seconds, Xu decided to peer around. His vines had completely wrecked the area in which they fought. Up heaved planks could be seen, and holes were abundant.
I hope I don`t have to pay for this...
Looking over to Fin and Adela, he saw them talking. Fin had a hand over his chest. That hug must have been properly named... Xu thought, cringing at what could`ve happened if Adela held on any longer.
He called the vines away, and promptly seated himself on the floor. He was out of breath. He had never used his power as aggressively as he had right now.
The idea of Adela healing them sounded nice, but he didn't particularly trusted her right now. Not a strong distrust, but how a child would distrust a doctor.
Getting back up, he shouted "Thank you but I'll have to reject your offer. I'm not injured at all, just a little bit addled by that horrible headache." He motioned to his head with his index finger.

Adela scratched the back of her head. "Sorry! I wanted to see if it would work," she said bashfully. She walked over to him and started tugging at his shirt. "I never get to see how badly I hurt people...mind if we take a look?" She didn't even blink or blush at asking him to take off his shirt. When you live with 3 bros, you tend to ignore these things. Fin obliged and lifted the shirt, making Adela swear. "Damn! I'm sorry!" He had a huge purple ring in the perfect shape of her arms. She pulled down the shirt and started to give him a hug. "This is a good hug, I promise." She poured all her healing energy into it, and then released him from the hug. "That should do it. I'm gonna check Xu out now. Lemme know if there's anything else, 'kay?"
With that she marched over to Xu. She looked down, "I am sorry about that headache...I'm kinda glad it worked though. Here," she ignored his rejection. "Let me help you, please?" She put her hands to each side of his head and closed her eyes. She was able to get rid of the headache, but she wasn't sure if it would still hold any repercussions. "Tell me, you feeling okay? Still bothering you or anything?"

Xu was intensely relieved as his headache got better after Adela healed him. He was afraid that she would just make it worse, though it turned out his fear was unfounded. Opening his eyes, (he too had closed them though more in fear then concentration) he looked around. The pounding was gone and the blurring had stopped. He was actually, surprised, that Adela's healing could work to such a level. He felt his strength returning, almost as if he had just awoken from a drowsy slumber.
Scratching his head, he replied "Thank you. The ache seemed to be gone." He was a bit hesitant, still slightly worried that something ELSE might happen. An image of his head blowing up briefly flashed itself across his mind. Xu cringed and immediately tried to forget about the thought.
Xu looked at Adela and offered a thankful smile, though his hands were still slightly trembling from her procedure.
Taking a few steps back, Xu stood his ground and looked at Adela then Fin.
"Well then, shall we continue?" As he said that, two vines slowly arose from the ground beside him, poising themselves, ready to reengage the them.

Johann, having beaten Host-Agent M into a standstill and reached an approving draw, intervened.
"No no, that's quite enough for now. I think I've gotten quite the scope of your abilities. Very impre - "
Schraeder blinked in below him, his momentum carrying him straight up from the ground. Johann stepped back lightly and shoved, sending the teleporting writer away to land gracefully on his own feet.
" - ssive," he finished. "But now, on to business. Let us first get cleaned up, before I tell you what our next itinerant item is."

Harry emerged from the ground. "I was hoping you'd forget about me," he laughed. "Couldn't try to surprise you again until it would be a surprise."
The Adams still hadn't returned, for some reason.

Xu let the vine recede, back into the ground. Then kneeling, he controlled the main head (the one in which every other branched off of) back into his bag, where it will lay until needed again.
The damage from his fight with Fin and Adela had severely destroyed a portion of the room in which they fought. Xu had no idea how he was going to clean it up. So he wasn't even going to try.
"So what happens now?" Xu asked, though to no one in particular. Turning to Johann, he said "What is it that you wanted to tell us about?"

Johann smiled at Xu and said, "Let's all get cleaned up first. We're going to be leaving on a short trip soon, so I'd like us to get comfortable before the briefing. That way, we can go straight to bed and rise for the trip."
