"Now we crash for the night?" Kat shrugged, walking into the room. She glanced at the puzzle and raised an eyebrow, "So Jarred-Guy, do you have any computer knowhow?"
Kat waited a moment, then shook her head. "You know, never mind. You guys keep doing your thing...whatever it is. I'm heading out for a bit." She gave a slight wave and headed out the door.

Roxanna, also not wanting to deal with people at the moment, but for her own reasons, did something similar. Roxanna, however, didn't bother with an explanation. She simply slipped from one body of water to the next.

G sat on top of a large home/small manor looking out at the skyline. As he did so he thought to himself What wast of money it is to have such a big house There was a shutter in G's body and then it stoped. His clone had teleloported back to him with his cup of hot coco. he sipped it quietly.
[I will be using G for the main body and D for the clone insted of typeing his full name the whole time. smile )

Maya stopped in the middle of the street and frowned. The whispers were agitated...Something was wrong. She knelt and placed her hand on the pavement. "Tell me.." she breathed. All at once the conversation between Krieger and the blonde woman rushed into her mind, from a thousand differant angles. She gasped and took off running down the street, stopping occasionally to ask something for directions. Finally she made it to the door of an apartment building which was seemingly innocent. "In here?" she asked it, out of breath. The wood groaned in approval. She nodded and started to scale the outside of the building untill she was outside the window of the room that the group of people she was wanted to protect resided. She began to knock insistently on the glass.

The birds flew away suddenly, startled by something. A few dropped like stones into the awaiting jaws of the creature below. Krieger snapped up the birds and chuckled to himself. He tore open the envelope he had recieved and took a look at the picture inside. So that's my mark...hmph. Pitiful. He scaled the building next to him and tasted the air. Nothing out of the ordinary. He moved on, stalking.

Kat paused, "No, probably not the wisest at all. But neither was leaving the Keepers in the first place. I'm chock-full of bad decisions." Her eyebrow twitched slightly at the sound of clicking glass, but she let it slide. "I'm guessing you'd advise me to stay inside wearing chainmail and a good luck charm?"

"I can't use my voodoo on you, remember cranberry boy? I could kiss you all night and it probably won't do more than a slight buzz in your head." Kat brushed a hand up in her hair, slightly frustrated. "All right," She turned towards the guest room and came back with a small box, "then you're helping out with the dye. It's a pain in the a** to do it on your own."

Arch the Angel "The bathroom's full, can we do it in the kitchen?" He shrugged, setting the finished puzzle down. "I assume you have a plan for tomorrow then?" "As long as there is a sink, it can be done." She grabbed a towel from the closet she assumed the towels would be in and walked with him to the kitchen. "Something of a plan. I figure the people who would talk about powers the most, be it stories they heard, things they've witnessed, or whatever, would be kids. It's a known fact that they spread the news faster than any group of adults." Kat stopped at the sink and began clearing off the counter next to it. She took off her shirt, leaving a fuschia colored bra, before pulling herself onto the counter and laying down, her head lying in the sink. "Tomorrow I'd planned on enrolling myself into the local high school, which will be odd...slightly awkward, but hopefully helpful."

"Figure you'll blend in?" Jarred said, raised eyebrow at the stripping, shrugged it off. "So you figure there's a lot of people out here with powers now?"

"I'll blend in well enough. May have to play as an older senior, but I've never known anyone to call a kid out and say she was too old looking for high school." Kat tossed her shirt over to another counter where it would be safe from dye or bleach. She motioned to the faucet with her finger, "wet me down please.
"There are far more powers popping up in this one city then in a worldwide basis for the last five years. Does that tell you anything?" She glanced up at him, her eyes looking almost colorless in the kitchen lighting. "Does the concept frighten you at all?"

Jarred turned on the faucet, grabbing the sprayer attachment and hosing down her hair. "Well, kind of, if I'm gonna have kids lighting people's hair on fire, or mind-controlling a whole bar full of women into their bus, then yeah, it's kind of scary," He cut the water. "Power corrupts, and some people can handle it, sure, but everyone?" He shook his head. "It could be very bad, even without the villains."

Kat's smile tightened slightly, "You almost sound like a keeper....almost." Her auburn hair darkened nearly to black with the addition of water, though parts close to her scalp still shone with a deep red. "What would you do with the people who you deem cannot handle their power?"
She handed him the dye kit, "There should be plastic gloves in there, I'd suggest you put those on before applying the stuff to my head."
