Alnara glanced back at Hawke with a sort of reluctant look before she followed after Fosull, she didn't really say much as she flew alongside the ghostling girl, afraid to really make any conversation with her. By the way she talked to Hawke, she seemed kind of mean...

That works for me. Chief replied to Hawke's suggestion. Than he wondered where they would find a pot or cauldron. He hadn't spotted one before. Or he might just not have noticed it. He glanced around at all the stands and people nothing stuck out to him. Than he heard Fosull's suggestion. It seemed like a good idea, but rather dangerous. I guess were heading there then. A quizzical look crossed his face. Getting to the pot would be do no problem. Getting the pot out would be difficult. What would the living think if they saw a large pot just floating.

Valkon listened carefully to Zion, a thoughtful look on his face. The boy had always had it? Strange. And he made things. Perhaps there was some connection to Chronos since the boy was holding in his hand a watch just like what he had placed and wore one already. "I agree. Purple is a very good color. Those could come in handy to see in the dark more. I bet others would like them." His tails twitched slightly as he watched Zion.

"My name is Valkon. If the person who made the watch in your hand is the same person who made the watch around your neck, I suspect I know who it is. His name is Chronos. I have one of his watches too." Valkon pulled the watch from his pocket. He always carried it because it contained his skull inside. "This is the one he made for me because he's a good friend of mine." The blue gem in it gleamed as did the red eyes of the crow. "Can I see the note on the watch you have in your hand? I suspect it is what I am waiting for. He's still trapped on the other side. IF the rest of us are here, so too should he be. I don't leave a friend behind."

Holding his hand out, he said, "I'll even let you help me get him here if that's what you want. But the only way to meet him is to keep doing what I'm doing now. And for that I need the watch. And you, I suspect. You can stick around and meet my children, can't you?"

"Yup, since the girls are gone." He watched Alnara and Fosull a moment before turing to Chief and Tai. "I think we look at the kitchen first. We need a big pot, something to get them out with, and maybe even a tray to put them on to dry. The rest we can just do whatever with. I'm sure Fosull will have some idea for it. She usually does."

"Come on, Tai." he said to the lore patting him on the head. "We can just toss whatever we find into the pot. Oh, and we need a towel to dry the bones off with. I think Alnara needs to loosen up a little. A pirate should enjoy themselves with what we do. I hope she doesn't think we are nice. I was born in the darkside of things. And momma and dad have lived there awhile."

"And when we find someplace to live here, you can pick a room with us. Dad will find someplace big. He'll have to have a library and a bone room for his skeletons." Hawke grinned. "It's fun helping him and playing with the rats and crows. He even changes to a wolf and gives us rides sometimes. You'll like staying where we are."

Moving towards the kitchen, Hawke began looking at the pans. Most were small and he tossed them aside after rejecting them. A few people glanced up, startled at the noise.

"There's a spirit here..." one whispered.

By the time Touma got back to the attic, the old woman was taking a second tray of cupcakes from it. She frowned at the thought of enough for three but added the cool ones to a tray, reserving a few for herself. When the second batch, the chocolate ones were done, she waited and put icing and sprinkles on. A pitcher of tea and glasses filled the second tray.

Now she just needed to get them up there. Cautiously setting out, she held onto the first tray firmly as she climbed the staircase. When she got to the top, the old woman stopped, staring as the jewelry floated. She nearly dropped her tray.

Touma suddenly grinned as he glanced over at Priscilla and Ember. "I asked her to make cupcakes. She did." He took the tray gently from her.

The old lady blinked in surprise but suddenly smiled. "Enjoy. I'll bring the other one up. I thought you might like more than just vanilla." She hoped they could hear her.

Zion grinned at Valkon's comment about his glow stick. There was an uncanny resemblance to Chronos' own grin, in fact the boy looked to be a much sweeter version of the Clock maker with multicolored hair.

"Chronos? If that's who is calling me... I think-" His eyes widened as he looked over Valkon's watch. The Roman numeral "IX" on the cover caught his attention more the the shiny gem or the glowing eyes. It only slightly bothered him that that symbol followed him around everywhere. He frowned a little at it. The runes on his horn and feet begun to glow slightly brighter.

"That is the same person alright. I can feel him there..." He looked back up to Valkon. "Okay, but you have to promise. " His arms folded across his chest. Behind, Zion's tail begun to twitch. "I want to meet this person.... Maybe he can tell me what "IX" means. That is everywhere I go and I know he is there every time I see it." Zion huffed.

Zion had no idea what 'trapped on the other side' meant. He knew very little of the light goddess and dark god's dispute earlier. When he was willed away to the dark place he made use of his time creating and perfecting glow sticks. How he never managed to find the castle was a complete mystery.
"Oh, and my name is Zion. That name came with the watch too! It's on the back under IX." He unfolded his arms and held the watch with the note tied to it up to Valkon. He'd have to remember to show him his own silver watch latter.

"I.... guess I can. I'll follow you, but.... What's a children?" His head titled to the side as he asked and waited for Valkon to take the watch.

Venus shrank away from the bright light that scolded her eyes as she slipped out of the darkness she'd created. It was a sharp contrast to where she'd just been in an alley way. The so called prince was all too full of himself. Or at least that was what Venus thought of the being. Venus ran her little hand over one of her horns in a stroking manner. The 'prince' had gotten so touchy over her merely asking what was in it for her. His attempt to frighten had been ridiculous and at thinking back about it Venus actually rolled her eyes. She brushed back a few strands of hair that feel forward. Her gaze shifted from side to side as she decided to go seek out David. Her little treat. Venus passed many in her search paying no real mind to any of them. Her goal was to find David.

Boser had been staling several shiny stalls since the bright light had brought him to this strange festival. But he was rapidly becoming very bored with being shooed away before being able to take anything from anyone. As a he was shoved away from the tenth time he turned to see Baiatul Mistica. A fox-ish ghost? And he was with a strange ball? The sight intrigued Boser enough to where he was compelled to run their way.

"Whats this that you have there? So round and, ah purple.... Boser hasn't seen anything like that before. Noooo... Can Boser have it?" He eyed Violett with wide eyes and a toothy grin.
PostPosted: Wed Sep 16, 2009 7:09 pm

Baiatul Mistica looked down at the small mass hovering just above his shoulder. He watched as her eyes stared down at the... What was he. Baiatul cocked his head to the opposite side studying the creature. It looked like some kind of reptile something kin to what he'd heard once was a deno sore...? He thought that was what such a being was related to. His magenta eyes blinked once as he thought of his questions. What was it that he had. She.. was it even female. He didn't know. He frowned. "You know. I don't quite know what it is that I have here." He moved his hand over the orb in a stroking fashion. He grinned as it emitted a soft purr. "However I don't think I can give you this little being. I believe that would have to be a choice of it's own accord."

Fiolett blinked twice as she examined the being who wanted her. Her new found companion had no right to say who could or could have her but he said that it would her own choice. She squinted her eyes slightly and drifted down to float around the white and orange being. Her wisp's if tangible would have rubbed against his fur, scale, skin thing or whatever it was. But it was just more like a foggy smoke that was purple edged in yellow. In a small and most defiantly feminine voice though child like it sounded rang clear. "I'm afraid you cannot have me." She shook her head/body. "But if you'd like we could go do something. I'm new here. To this world in general. I'm sure we could wreak havoc on some innocent person. Si?" Her eyes glowed with the thought of mischief

Fosull glanced behind her, well it seemed that the pink one was following her. "Alright Pinky, lets go check out those bushes there next to the graveyard. I think they'll have what we need or at least something close." Samedi trotted along beside Fosull the lore keeping a watchful gaze over the area. His main duty was to his mistress but his mistress had assigned him to watching out for Fosull when she was out and about.

Fosull started pushing aside the bushes and shrubs in the area looking for stray bones or dead animal, after a bit of searching she spoked a partially decomposed bird. "Hm, not a very big one but might have use for some of them." Unrolling a fairly decent sized burlap bag from a pouch on her belt she scooped the bird up and put it in the bag.

"I have a bag for you too," taking another bag from her belt she tossed it over to Alnara, "so...before you ended up here, what were you doing?" She shifted her gaze a bit to look over at Alnara, she was pretty sure the other ghostling wasn't from the dark and decided it was best to find where her allegiance were set.

Azshara tilted her head curiously watching the little wisp, it didn't seem to be able to speak. When it didn't respond she poked it again with another tentacle rather curiously, "so you can't talk?"

Her snakes shift to watch Valkon as he spoke to the ghostling with the watches, it seemed to be the watches that he was interested in...like the one he had under the pier. Azshara laxed her grasp on the wisp as she started moving closer toward the shore and the others that were heading this way, the grasp was lessened but not completely gone.

"Oh! Prissy, this will be pretty on you!" Ember pulled a decorative pin from the jewelry box, crafted to look like a silver and gold rose; some of the paint on it was chipping on it leaving dark spots on the decorative piece. Pushing the pin to the edge of the box she tipped it over the side so it would fall next to Priscilla.

When the old woman arrived Ember stopped what she was doing and stared up at the old woman curiously. The young ghostling's face spread with a smile though hearing Touma and even more as the cupcakes were brought down. "Cuppy cakes!" clapping happily Ember crawled down off the jewelry box and over to the tray, fully intent on diving into one of the cupcakes if allowed to.

Alnara took the bag that Fosull threw at her and watched as she scooped up a dead bird and put it in her bag. Alnara watched the poor bird being put in the bag and felt herself gag. She didn't really like looking at dead things very much,it was kind of a phobia she had. Alnara was caught off guard by Fosull's sudden question about how she had got here,"Um...I was down by the docks of Paokoli because i'm a pirate you see and I was just wandering about because it was a nice night, but then all of a sudden there was a brilliant flash of light and I ended up in the middle of the town square here."

Davenya patted Jason on the head. The response was a sort of bobbing motion. Davenya grinned. "I am sorry Quanitella. Jason is a friend. Please fret not. He shouldn't mingle in your mind long. I'm quite sure he would get bored after a little while." Davenya nodded promptly before looking about. "Come we should do something. Partake in some sort of activity or such." She nodded and waved her hand in the air with some misconceived great fashion. She wiggle and her pigtails bounced. The lamp light danced across her glasses lens. She seemed peppy and up beat and only one thing could bring her down from there. She then turned and smiled at Her Charm Dragon friend. She listened to him go on and grinned. "I'm glad you defeated that sea creature. I was worried you know but Sea creatures aren't my special-tee." She though about the sleep over and wiggled. It sounded splendid. "Oh do not fret Jason is a good boy He shall behave himself very well won't you Jason" She petted his head and he nodded nuzzling her cheek.

Jason glared at the brown Yokai called Quanitella. Davenya said he was a friend. He wanted to laugh. Davenya was his and not that yokai's. Jason stroked the black pigtail still. He wanted all of Davenya's childish ways and wills to himself. He was sure if he wanted to he could control her. He nuzzled against her cheek settling down more onto her shoulders as best he could. The words 'Mine' were sent drifting in the brown girls head.

Quanitella stiffened she hated the creature that broke the sanctity of her mind. Her thoughts were her own yet the creature was in her head. She stifled a growl as the words came out of Davenya's mouth. He would get bored with her mind. If it was possible Quanitella would have said Davenya got stupider in her absence from David. Quanitella had never wanted to admit she thought David was the only reason Davenya stayed sane. She also figured David wasn't much better off. He'd been her friend and for whatever reason he and his sister were separated was of no real importance. Davenya was getting worse in her own snobby like behavior. Like being out in the sun too long her mind seemed baked. Quanitella didn't mean to but she didn't really notice the Charm Dragons appearance because she was still focus on the cretin latched to Davenya's shoulders. Quanitella actually growled as the thing enter her mind again. The words mine drifting through her head. Regardless of anyones reaction to what she was about to do she decided she'd none the less do it. Her little hand curled into a fist and she hit the creature. His mask was hard but it hadn't saved it from cracking.

Davenya gasped at the sudden burst of violence that came from her friend. She looked down to where Jason lay on her shoulder and immediately began petting his head as best she could. "Shh... it'll be fine." Meanwhile her mind stayed completely silent. She took that to mean Jason would be fine. Little did she know the slur of words that were being thrown at Quanitella's mind. She shot a glare at Quanitella and ignored the look of pain that seemed carved into her friends face. She huffed up her little chest and looked abck at Jason. "Come on Jason We'll go to that slumber party now and Leave Quanitella to beating up other harmless individuals."

Valkon blinked in some surprise. The grin was the same. Was this a relative of Chronos? Had he had children even in life or even death? He was definitely keeping an eye on this kid now. He'd pull him into his family until Chronos was there. Zion and Chronos needed to meet. He almost had goosebumps at the thought. Of course he'd have to tease his friend.

"Zion. I like that name." Valkon replied, then laughed. "Well, children are like you only from me." He hesitated sure he was not explaining it correctly. "I have two sons and a daughter. They are my children. I'm their father. I guess you don't have a father. Well, stick with me and we will see what we can find out about that. And the watch." For a moment he gazed at Zion. "I promise that if you stick with me, you will find Chronos. I'll make sure."

Reaching out, Valkon took the watch and note from the boy. Glancing over at David, he frowned for a moment. "Glad you are here, David. Do you know how many of the others are here? I've found Loa, my kids, and Lestat. Other than that, haven't seen anyone else."

Something caught his eye in the necklace. "Interesting necklace. David, hang onto it. It might be something you want to keep later." He suddenly grinned. "Other than it's shiny value." He glanced over at Azshara and the small ghostling. So many were coming together. Maybe they'd be new recruits.

Hawke laughed as he picked up several pots only to drop them cause they were too small. This was actually rather fun. When he saw it, his eyes got large. "There, Chief!" he pointed at a huge brass pot sitting to the side. "That one! That's just the one that will work!" It was probably meant for making a large batch of soup or something, but Hawke knew it was just right for boiling rats and other bodies.

"Come help me." he laughed as he moved towards the pan. I think both of us could walk under it and carry it there." He glanced at his friend's tail. "Of course you'd have to be behind me so your tail doesn't get stepped on."

Zion's head tilted. He still did not get what Valkn was trying to explain to him. So, they all came from him? Was he a, what was the word, father? Must be. "Ah... I think... I get it." Zion laughed, coming up with his own answer mentally so Valkon would not have to come up with another explanation.

Zion than nodded. "Alright, I will... and I'll take that as a promise. You should never break a promise, its very bad luck." His tail swayed.

Boser frowned at the answer he got. His tail twitched a few time before the thing spoke. "Eh, it talks? Boser never seen a thing like that even talk before..." He licked his top row teeth. "Boser not know about feeling of going with funny ball thing. It talks... Boser not like it so much any more."

"Boser think you have a talking treasure fuzzy one. It is very weird indeed." He laughed and clasped his claws.

Priscilla had on a close-fitting cap with sprays of imitation pearls on it, as well as a lacy face veil. She sashayed across the floor to pick up the pin Ember had dropped for her and was just putting it over her heart when the old lady walked in. With her mind on fashion, the first thought to cross her mind was one of dismay at all the wrinkles their elderly host had. The idea of having so many herself was just horrid!

The woman's reaction to their presence focused her attention on what the room must look like to the living, and it made her giggle. Floating hats, necklaces, and pins after being given a note asking for cupcakes penned by a ghostly hand. Wrinkles or no wrinkles, this was no feeble oldster!

As for Ember, she paid no attention to the little one's dive for the cupcakes. Having no maternal instincts whatsoever, she simply didn't realize what the babe's intentions were, nor that there was a problem with her following through with it.

Gossamer squeaked and quaked further upon the closer examination of the strange creature with writhing hair. She warbled mournfully at being poked, casting her eyes about for something to help with the situation, whether it be to escape or to distract herself. The glitter of moonlight on the ocean provided no appeal, the twinkle of stars above them was not interesting enough. So instead, quivering, she decided to amuse herself as best she could. Tentatively, with many wobbles in note but with a pure little voice, she began to sing to herself

It was wordless, of course, but not at all without emotion. It began as an "utoh, I'm in trouble," song, with undertones of "now what do I do?" But as she continued to sing, it began to alter in a meandering manner until it was a merry little high pitched and lively whistle, rousing enough to get any foot to tap along. Her little tail swung back and forth beneath Azshara's grip, keeping time, and her eyes squeezed nearly shut with pelasure. Amazing what a little manufactured happiness could do!

Fosull paused and looked over at Alnara, "a pirate?" she didn't sound completely convinced of it as she continued along. "So...you had your own ship? Or worked on someone else?" Pausing she shifted her gaze nearby, motioning Alnara to follow her, "ah, well looks like this was a fox or something once." Frowning a bit Fosull pushed the skull of the mostly decayed beast, "hm, useful bones too...we better take the whole thing. Want to get it or should I?"

She shifted slightly looking over to Alnara waiting for her reply.

When no one stopped her Ember let out a giddy little sound and dove head first into the nearest cupcake causing bites of vanilla cake to get thrown around and covering herself in frosting and sprinkles in her excitement. "Prissy! It's good!" Ember giggled from inside her cupcake sanctuary peeking over the side of the now ruined pastry to grin at Priscilla, bits of frosting stuck on her head and face along with the cake making a grand mess of things.

Azshara paused in her stalking of the others to look over at the little now warbling thing that she had caught in her tentacle. Blinking slightly she moved it over so she could see it more clearly. Poking it again curiously after a moment of listening she set it down still keeping a loose grip on it and studied it as it sang.

She still wanted to know what was going on with this Valkon character and those watches but for now she had another distraction that she decided to keep for herself if he didn't come back for it.
