"All of you are overreacting!" Henry piped up, his ears standing at attention, "You guys are acting so cynical about some stranger, if he really wanted to do something, would he have not done it already?" The Rabbit +Anima was quite furious now, who were they to judge one person, and hide behind mostly empty threats? They were no better then the people who looked down upon them when the +Anima were alone. "Force is not the solution." He mumbled, trying to take a righteous stand on things, but could not for being courageous just wasn't his strong attribute. Crossing his arms, he began to pout, in the most childish way one could imagine.

Whistle covered what little distance there was between himself and the blind man, and looked him over. "You're a liar, first off - but we'll get to that later. If you intend no harm, then just what do you intend? As you haven't made your intentions clear, how is it that you find us so flawed in thinking that you might be a threat? Simply being blind is not an admission of innocence...." He smiled, and continued. "After all, your partner isn't blind - is he? If he was, then I doubt he would fly so very far from his home. Blind birds don't live to fly on."
Davey sullenly pouted at the pouting lagamorph, and stuck his tongue out, tail still puffed up like a bottle brush. He was, after all, still only and 11 year old boy. Not much else could really be expected of him at this point.

"Partner? You must be mistaken. The birds of this forrest are my friends. The few i have. and i sir. am no liar." Taking a few steps backward to put some distance between himself and the menacing man, Ryu spoke, "The village up ahead is my home, few now travel this road. I was lounging in my favored tree in the forrest there." He said as he pointed toward the said tree, "I heard your group coming down the road, i wished to welcome you to the village, but you come at me with accusations and vemon laced words." Ryu spat out this last statement. "Do you want proof, do you want some from of symbol to prove i mean no harm." Ryu began to remove his jacket as he spoke, "I too have been hunted like i know some of you have been." Folding his jacket over his arm he turned his bare back to the crowd, revealing several scars and his +Anima tattoo.

"You have been following us." Mari said it without any doubt. She had felt the presence she felt now, and it was his. Perhaps she was getting it confused with the bat girl who was too shy to introduce herself, but she didn't think she'd make a mistake like that. "Yes, we can see your scars. Point made, you've been attacked. That's not an alibi, you know. Now cover up your back, you look like a fool. And you're going to get cold." Mari crossed her arms. This man, so eager to prove his innocence, had forgotten that it was really quite cold actually. And she didn't want him to die of hypothermia. He reminded her too much of her older brother. "So? You said something about welcoming us to your village? Are you in a forgiving mood?" Her tone was emotionless and unreadable. She was throwing him a bone. All he had to do was take it, and she would be on him like a master on a disobedient slave.

"My good miss, you must be mistaken." Turning around to face the group once again Ryu spoke, "I was not following you. I have never felt the spirits of any of you before. As for the cold, i must thankyou for your concern. But i quite like the cold." Taking a long deep breath Ryu centered himself for a moment. "Right, seeing as many of you do not trust nor believe me, i suppose it can't be helped. Come, i will give you lodging in my village." He turned around and began to walk toward the gated of the village, replacing his jacket and blindfold as he did so.

Henry stopped pouting and looked towards Mari, "That was very manipulative of you, but I guess we have shelter now." He whispered to her, caught between being grateful and being angry. He ran ahead and caught up with the stranger. "Sorry about my friends, they were acting a bit unreasonable, or at least I would think so." The Rabbit +Anima apologized quietly, unsure of his own sincerity. His steps began to slow down, so he was in the middle of the group again. Henry wanted to introduce himself, but he realized immediately that the number of people in this group would reach eight. Eight is not as lucky as seven, and we all need as much luck as we can muster.

Aisha felt a bit bad about the way the others were treating the blind man, but she didn't want to say anything that would make the others get angry at her. Looking at Henry and the way he could build enough courage to apologize made her feel good and she now felt she could say something too. "T-thank you for letting us stay with you.." It wasn't much but she said what first came to her mind. For a second she remembered that Mari said he wanted to do dirty things to her and her being in his house would only make it easier wouldn't it? She gulped and really really hoped that Mari was wrong about the mans intentions.

Ryu merely nodded to aknoledge he heard what the other boy said. This is not what i thought would happen. These people must have been in some sort of trouble to not trust another +Anima. He thought, "It is no trouble at all." He said to the girl who had spoke so quetly even he had a herd time hearing. "This way if you please." Ryu led the group to a large building in the middle of the small town.

(( Flan, I love you XD
You've just listed me as "Run While You Can - Is having difficulties with life."
How very accurate.
Although, even after ALL THIS TIME, you haven't put up the banners I made for you. Alas, the world turns its cruel back on my SUPAR-AMAZING-MS-PAINT-SKILLS once again.
So, I'm back! Pippa's been hiding in the shadows...
There's a hell of a lot more characters now, I'm going to have to do quite a bit of catching up >.> ))

(( Okay, all caught up!
There was a particularly lengthy trek - involving lots of flirting and quiet aggression - through the city of the Princess and eventually away from it, where you entered the woods as a group of seven +Anima (although I could have sworn there were more; it feels like there's an army). Mari had a short internal monologue about the imminent threat of strangers raping people's babies, the group realised they were close to a road and therefore an inhabited area. Without warning, you suddenly met a strange +Anima who has been accused by Mari of following the group. After a quick exchange, the stranger has then led everyone to some sort of refuge in the centre of a neighbouring village. If any of that's incorrect, please do fill me in, but based on that, I'm going to get stuck in writing.
Hello everyone, by the way =3 ))

I Suffer Mornings Most Of All I Feel So Powerless And Small By Ten 'O Clock, I'm Back In Bed Fighting The Jury In My Head... The hours had not been kind. Drawn out and laborious, Pippa found herself tripping carelessly over discarded branches and stones as she focused relentlessly on the tiny mane of white hair bobbing thirty yards ahead of her.
In hindsight, Pippa had realised deep down that her plan was not a plan that she had thought out thoroughly, but she did not allow herself to believe it. The group constantly changed; it stopped, started, stopped, started, as various people quarrelled and cuddled and ran sharply away from the group with seemingly no provocation. Her knees and palms were scraped and streaked with blood after the many times she had thrown herself to the floor, afraid she might be spotted by a casual turn of the head. Even as the journey wore on, her eyes began to sting as the air grew colder, and her limbs ached more and more with every step. It was a sensation unusual and unpleasant to Pippa; she had never had any cause to suffer real fatigue before, being a nocturnal +Anima. In her head, she hazily recalled her cozy alcove, deep in the darkness of the castle's wine cellar, where she would have spent this day dreaming contentedly of moonlight and nightingales until the sun had set and her work could begin... There was no joy in remembering. Even as she longed to sleep, Pippa knew that somewhere in the castle, her tattered velvet blanket was being thrown onto the fire, and her alcove filled with empty bottles as the King celebrated his triumph.
Distracted by her mournful longing, Pippa realised far too late that the group had halted; she was less than ten feet away from them. With the tiniest of yelps, she scrambled clumsily to the side of the road and ducked behind an overgrown hedge.
"I was not following you. I have never felt the spirits of any of you before..."
Someone had stopped them. Pippa cupped her hands across her mouth and tried to slow her breath; thin clouds of mist rose slowly from inbetween her fingers and melted away in an instant.
"... Come, i will give you lodging in my village."
They were moving away. Pippa leapt up to creep after them, wiping her mud-encrusted hands over her now even filthier dress. Her eyes scanned the heads franctically until she saw a glimpse of white hair, almost swallowed by the tall figures of the group, and concentrated upon it. It took her a few minutes to realise they had entered a small village. The buildings were squat and thatched, and there were few people on the streets. Pippa did her best to stay concealed, ducking around walls and abandoned carts to avoid being caught in the open.
As the +Anima reached their destination, Pippa felt a small wave of horror rise up inside her. A situation she had not forseen had occured; the group were being ushered to a lone building, built larger and sturdier than the others. Surely now there was no way she could follow them without being seen - but what if she did reveal herself? The swan girl would not discard her, surely; but if the others did? What if she was left alone? Her mind was melting into a fog of panic. As she urgently tried to decide what to do, the white-haired girl approached the door of the building, and in a moment of desperate madness, Pippa burst out into the open space of the road and raced towards her. It was only after a few seconds that her fear caught up with her. Skidding to a halt a few feet from the group, Pippa froze, her head filled with a thousand different decisions, none of which made the slightest bit of sense. It was all she could do to keep her eyes trained on the white-haired girl's head, silently pleading her to turn back.
(( Sorry it's so long - I've had a long time away, my fingers were itching to type ^^ ))

"Alright everone come now, in you go. This is Donzo's, the best inn this country has ever seen. Go right on in and tell Donzo you want rooms. He won't charge you." Ryu instructed. "Hm?" He sniffed once and turned toward the direction of the smell. "Why miss you smell like you been rolling in mud filled with blades. Are you alright?" He asked the girl who had just appeared. Ryu took a few steps toward her. "Would you like somewhere to stay?"

Whistle raised an eyebrow but didn't question the offer. After all - inside was as good a place to make a stand if something went wrong as out. The only thing he was wary of was the confining walls. It had been a while since he'd been in a real house.
It was only when the blind man acknowledged the girl that he even bothered to think of the possiblity of her being apart of the group. The last thing they needed was another girl, but he couldn't very well ignore her in the face of the fact that she'd endured this long. The thorns could be fierce.
"It's alright." He spoke up, looking at the girl in an almost soothing manner. "We don't bite. And you look like you could use a place to stay - someplace warm. And besides - if one has to choose between the possibility of a trap, and the surety of being eaten by wolves, I would think that most would choose the option with even a glimmer of hope."
Davey had squirmed out of Serrenedy's grasp and run in without thinking, jumping up to see the top of the counter and trying his hardest to think of just what the mysterious man's name was. What if getting a room depended on his referal?
"Hi!" He chirped, and jumped again, in vain.

I Suffer Mornings Most Of All I Feel So Powerless And Small By Ten 'O Clock, I'm Back In Bed Fighting The Jury In My Head... It was too late to turn back; the other +Anima were beginning to notice her. Now that she had a close view, several of them looked quite alarming. Pippa could hardly help shrinking away slightly when the tallest of the group began to approach her.
"Are you alright? Would you like somewhere to stay?"
She recognised his voice as the stranger from the wood. Inside her cloudy mind, the two questions fizzed and twisted around each other; torn between answering yes and no at the same time, Pippa could only stand in the same spot, her mouth hanging slightly open.
"It's alright."
Another voice had spoken up. Pippa's eyes swept across to a tall, spindly figure, dressed in darkened colours. His hair was a shining blonde, and it glistened slightly as the sun lowered in the sky.
It was now or never. Letting out a slow, deep breath, Pippa took several tiny, tentative steps towards the group, her muscles tensed and ready to start running if they should change their mind.

"You poor thing." Ryu said on a conforting tone, "Here let me get a look at you, don't be alarmed." Taking off his blindfold Ryu activated his +Anima, not alarmingly, but slowly so his wings sprouted slowly from his back and hugged it closely. "Ah to see again." Ryu said to himself as he blinked his eyes to adjust to the light. "Now let me see. You poor girl, you are all cut up." Ryu took an adventurous step forward and gingerly took one of the girls hands. "Don't be alarmed i just want to have a look at them."
Donzo had been working in his office when he heard a commotion outside. When he walked out to the counter to see what it was there a small boy straining to see over it. "Well hello little master, welcome to Donzo's, the finest Inn for miles. What can i get you?" Donzo asked as he leaned over the counter to see the boy.
