Ok, Well, My Names Jason, I'm from London, And i steal water when no ones looking... Well, i try to... sweatdrop As you've just guessed i try to make jokes alot, Sometimes i pass, sometimes i fail, i like to leave that down to anyone elses oppinion.
Umm, Well, about my personal life... I'm generally easy going, i like to roleplay, as anyone on the o/m has seen. I got two dogs, I live with my Nan, and My girlfriend lives in Switzerland, because her parents decided to move, and she had to go.

Hi, all! I just got here. The Doctor Who Guild has been my only guild for some time, but it's gotten pretty quiet now the new season's done so I've joined 3 more guilds in the past couple of weeks! smile I'm here because I love the British Isles & things that come from there. Started with Winnie the Pooh (the original books) when I was little & worked my way up through Ruyard Kipling, Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, Terry Pratchett & (of course) Harry Potter. I got to go to London in 1991 for a week; I was so jetlagged & already insomniac from job stress that I spent most of the week lying in til 11 am then walking down to the British Museum every day & exploring til they shoved me out at the end of the day, then wandering down Oxford Street. I hardly saw anything else except for a day trip to Wolverhampton by coach to see Colin Baker in "Privates on Parade". That was great! rofl Wish I could go back but I doubt I'll ever be able to afford it again. sad
I am an artist, though not by trade (I work in a textile mill). I live in NC. I've got sample pages of a Doctor Who parody I'm gradually turning into a webcomic in my Journal.
It's nice to be here! xd 3nodding

it's nice to have you here, welcome biggrin
it's quite quiet here too sweatdrop we have nearly 90 members, but there are only 4/5 of us who post regularly gonk
i LOVED the last season of Doctor Who, me and Alleria both watched it avidly 3nodding
i'm a big Terry Pratchett fan too, i've just started reading Maskerade again, which was the book that introduced him to me.
i'm glad you like the UK so much, but i understand the financial strain of visiiting here, it's a bit embarrassing that it's such an expensive country for tourists redface but it's always fun to visit London, did you visit the Palace and wave to the Queen? xd

Thank you! smile No, I was staying with a pen-pal who was strongly discouraging me from acting like a tourist & doing the touristy things such as Buckingham Palace, the Tower, etc. The museum has so much wonderful stuff in it however that she didn't seem to object. She lived in Granville Square & we would walk around the non-tourist parts of central London, which was very interesting, and she took me to a great fish & chips place near--I think it was--Exmouth Market. I got Scampi & Chips... xd heart The first day I was there she took me to eat at a regular little meat & 3 veg place in Finsbury, on Rose-something Ave. I got a plate of grilled lamb chops & veg, which was fantastic! heart heart I had milk to drink, which seemed to perplex people. Also the fact that I was with my pen-pal, a definate Londoner. smile Did go to Hyde Park Corner on Sunday. Very unusual place. xd
Have you read Going Postal yet? I haven't got that one yet.

This looks like a good place to start. Well, my name is Rene (To rhyme with bean, people have difficulties pronouncing my name) and I'm a 22 year old woman living in West London with her fiance. I'm getting married late this year and I'm both looking forward to it and a little scared of it (When you get married transformation from child to adult is almost complete gonk ). My main hobby is reading, and I love Horror/Thriller, Sci-Fi and Fantasy book, but that in no way means I'm limited to just those genres. Basically I'll read almost anything you put infront of me (Except romance and westerns --Shudders--). I'm a raging coffee addict. I love my coffee. I think that's about it. Ask if there's anything you want to know, I guess. 3nodding
