LT set a big bowl down full of Ramen with some rice dumplings. 'Now i know this is a late dinner, so once your done go to bed, well train tomorrow"

"yes sir!" tod says and begins to wolf down the food giving very little time to even breath. once done Tod sets down the bowl. "Ok wow that was really good thank you" Tod stands up and after putting away his dishes say " good night sir see you in the morning" and then promptly heads to bed.

Sain gets up and begins to exercise in order to keep his body in shape "cant slack on the first day" he mumbles to himself

Tares clone appeared and talked to Tod, go the the library and learn everything you can from the scrolls in the library.

Tod returned and went stright to his room them pulled out the copy of the scroll and began to practice the water sword
1/6 Tod draws out the water into his hand and takes a swing but the blade falls apart and splashes to the ground
2/6 Tod draws the water back into his hand and tries again but this time shortens the length of the blade for more control. and it holds for a little bit then falls apart
3/6 Tod calls the water together again and this time focuses it on keeping the blade together. the blade holds. tod swings it and it still holds
4/6 tod lengthens the blade and does the same thing when it still holds. he swings it at the walk with a little effort and when it still holds Tod smiles
5/6 repeates the process and makes it bigger then swings a little harder
6/6 Tod makes the blade the size of a regular katana and swings full force and the blade holds.
even though Tod learned the move he keeps practicing to master it

Tares came home put the groceries away. Then he cleaned up the house and headed out.

Tod stopped practicing took the scroll tore it into bits and burned them and hearing that his teacher was home went to help him. While he did he said "sir i went to the library and began to learn but as i was not accompanied by you the Anbu almost took me but another ninja helped me. so i came back here and learned the water sword jutsu." Tod was still wondering if it was a test and if he had passed by still gaining information. but before his question was answered tares was gone. so Tod went back to training

Tod packed all the stuff he would need to get to the exam in his pack, left a note for his teacher and left

tods teacher probably was not there. that was ok it made what he was going to do easier. tod made a note saying "teacher i have failed you and i have failed the village. i must improve my skills before the next exam. i must go off and train by my self." he signed the note and left it on the kitchen table. then after gathering what he would need tod left

Tod ran up tot the logde. the weight on him was now getting heavy. he still practiced his taijutsu with his bamboo rod. the distraction still worked to keep his mind of the pain. but then it failed the pain in his arms was too great to keep with full speed. he let it drop for a second and his rod drooped and his the ground. to tripped over it. as he was flying threw the air he used the rod to push down on the ground, send himself into a flip. "that was close" he said "i have to stay focused" he then looked at the house and remembered his teacher. "i must not let him down" that one thought gave him vigor to keep running. and so he moved on now heading to finish up at the tower.
