Kaitlyn giggled, he seemed to be in the zone when it came to that ice cream. Her eyes rolled slightly as they made their way over there. She pulled out his chair and allowed him to sit down first, making her way to his side, sitting down on his leg.
But now she was at a loss for words, really, what can she say to him? Nothing really, she picked up the spoon, getting a decent amount on it. She took a little bit of it herself, and gave the rest to landon, allowing him to eat.
Kaitlyn had every intentions on feeding him, but that cherry was so hers, no matter what he said. Reaching over with another hand, she picked up the cherry by the stem, and placed it in her mouth, pulling only the stem back. "Hmmm, that was really fresh..."

Move along, move along like I know you do.. Haha, she said no, but she seemed way more ok then she did before. Much better, and her attitude didn't seem so forced now.
Although, he hadn't noticed the difference until now when it had improved, clearly.
Of course, James' eyes couldn't help but be drawn to her breasts which the towel no longer covered, but he was still paying attention, really!
Anyway, she pulled herself up on his hand, which he kept steady, feet planted.
Then she pecked his lips, not leaving him with enough time to respond, before she had moved away again and was asking him about dinner.
"Hm? Oh! Yeah, I got a reservation all set up, sooo, we're ready as soon as you are." He said smiling, and dipped in to kiss her lips, briefly though, because then he moved back over to the open suitcase on the bed. From it, he pulled out a black button up shirt, "That should work, right?"

Stephanie smiled as he kissed her gently on th lips. "Awesome. Give me like, fifteen minutes." Right, in girl code that meant at least forty five.
She walked over to her suitcase, dropping the towel completely as she grabbed a white tank and a pair of pink plaid pajama pants. After she pulled those on, with a matching set of lacey black underwear, she turned to look at her boyfriend, who was holding up a black button up shirt.
"I always love that shirt on you," She turned around again, picking up her actual outfit for that night and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her this time.
She dryed her hair first, and it only took about ten minutes. Yeah, only. That was too long in itself. But after she finished that she pinned it up in a lose bun, just until she finished her makeup.
Stephanie covered her face in coverup, then blush. And some black eyeliner. She put on a skin toned color, for her eyelids, just so that the eyeliner didn't decide to paint her upper lid too. Next, she applied some bright red lipstick.
With a smack of the lips she pulled the rubberband from her blonde locks. She piled it up, styling it on the top of her head and slightly to the left side. She pinned a black accessory in it before hairspraying it together.
She carefully undressed, thirty minutes later. Then pulled on an off white lacey dress. Then she tugged on the jacket, which she would remove later for sure.
When she looked in the full frame mirror her eyes ran over every single part of her body. That jacket, was one she had gotten from Landon. One of the only things she didn't box away from him. Everything else was in the back of her closet, hidden from the light.
But that black jacket had been a present, one of those things that you see in the mall, but never have the money for. And everytime you saw it in the window, you just wanted it more.
And then Landon had ended up buying it for her. She was thrilled. And it was just simple and cute, and literally went with everything she owned.
But she didn't want to think about Landon. He wasn't in her life, at least not in the way he used to be. Only part of him was, her daughter. Which was, his. And that was something he, and nobody else, could ever know.
Stephanie shugged off the jacket and sighed, scolding herself for even thinking about him like that, and she walked out of the bathroom, black heels on and completely ready, exactly forty four minutes later.
Hey! At least it hadn't taken her an hour!
"Ready babe?" She smiled, only half way forcing it.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James just smirked in amusement when she told him 15 minutes, because he knew it wouldn't be. Which of course, he had accounted for when reserving the seats at the best restaurant available at the resort. Only the best, of course.
"Oh good, because I didn't pack a tux" James replied, sticking his tongue out on her, then started working on getting the shirt on, slipping his arms in first.
He was able to get a glimpse of the outfit she would be wearing as she went into the bathroom while he was still buttoning the shirt up. Still, he had no idea what it would look like on her.
And well, then he was basically just about done. He grabbed some socks, slipped his shiny shoes on and that was it. So, he spent about 10 minutes combing his hair- yes, a whole 10, but hey, he wasn't quite as bad as a girl. Still, he liked his hair to look good in general.
After that, he just sat back on the bed, without resting his head on the pillow, and waited patiently, if somewhat anxiously.
Finally, she was out, although he did have the passing thought of- we might actually be early!
But the thought was extinguished the second he really saw her.
"Yeah! And you look great!" he said, hopping up off the bed and going over to her, he stopped and grinned down at her, "Shame we're going to dinner, you look so sexy in those clothes, I just wanna rip them off" but instead he just kissed her again.
"Right, let's go!" ..And even when your hope is gone

Stephanie couldn't recall ever seeing James in a tux. Sure, he always looked nice but never tuxedo material.
James was instantly at her feet and she tossed the jacket behind him, on the bed. Her hand actually stinging from releasing it.
"Thanks," She mumbled. "Then that would defeat the purpose of me spending forty minutes getting ready."
She smirked, really forcing her cheery mood through.
God, why was it so hard to be herself? She hadn't had this much trouble in high school with it!
"Be careful. I don't want smudgy lipstick." She chuckled, wow. That sounded pretty snotty. Though, there was sarcasm in her voice.
And anyone who knew her best, knew every other thing she said was usually sarcastic.
Even Hayley used sarcasm!
"Right," Stephanie nodded, grabbing her purse as she was pulled out of the room. They headed towards the resteraunt and she was hand in hand with her boyfriend.
They looked like a million dollar, perfect couple. Why did she feel so insecure about their relationship?

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James watched the jacket she had just had fly from her hand and onto the bed. Which he thought odd, that she would need it, but the fact that she had gotten it out, and it did go really well with that dress....
Actually, he thought he recalled seeing her wear that jacket quite a lot, one of her favorites.
But whatever.
"Yeah, but... still... Its very tempting." he replied, emphasizing this by running his hands all over her body, and even tugged at the material a little, careful not to mess anything up. All of this just to teas her.
Ah, and then about the lipstick! It made him laugh though.
"Ok fine miss priss" joking, "Is this better?" he asked, leaning down more and kissing her neck.
But they did need to get going, so he lead her out, leaving her just barely enough time to grab her purse, then they were outta there.
On the way, he thought about the brochure he had looked through before calling.
This restaurant was like any other fancy one, but it had a stage in the middle and entertainment.
What kind specifically, he wasn't sure, but he thought it sounded interesting. Probably dancing or singing of some kind.
James said his first and last name to the host at the entrance, and then both of them were lead to a table near the stage- good seats of course, just for two.
"Here we are darling" he said in a dramatic voice, pulling out her seat, and waving his hand for her to sit. ..And even when your hope is gone

In the mentality she was in right now, thinking about her ex and all, it was easy for her to resist temptation with James back in the room.
Now, they were out at the resteraunt and he was pulling out her chair. "Why thank you kind sir," She sat down and scooted forward, crossing her leg over the other gently.
"Can I interest in you Screaming Eagle?" Her grandpa had been an expert in wines, so in turn her grandma was too. Screaming Eagle was one of the finest and most expensive wines in the world.
"Actually I'll have a Strawberry Margarita." Anything to get her mind off Landon.
This was her weekend with JAMES. Her boyfriend.
She wasn't even gonna have to see him.
"Make it really strong too?"

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James sat down across the table from Stephanie after she had and looked around, then at the stage. No one was on it at the moment, but it had like scheduled times or something, one of which was coming up- so it was perfect, around when they would be eaitng, or maybe still waiting. Something like that.
A piano was set in the middle as well, so that probably had something to do with it.
James looked up as they were asked about Screaming Eagle, oh that did sound good.
But Steph asked for a Margarita instead. Interesting.
"I'll take a bottle" he he said with a nod, still sounded good.
Then Stephanie added that. Which made him wonder as to why she apparently wanted to really get drunk. But then he realized, oh, duh. She was probably still worrying about Hayley, so that would get her mind of worrying and more on fun. Sounded like a plan.
"You ok?" he asked though, just to make sure, even though he didn't really want to bring up that subject again... he still wanted to know, make sure it wasn't something else bothering her either. ..And even when your hope is gone

Stephanie looked at him blankly. "You do realize that a bottle of Screaming Eagle can run up to like, 18,000 right?" She bit her bottom lip. Funnier thing was, Stephanie rarely drank. And now, out of the blue, she was asking for a hard drink? Odd.
Though, James didn't seem to notice. Ah well, not suprising.
Oh piano. Neat!
She loved music, so this worked out pretty perfectly. And since her favorite thing ever was the keyboard, piano sort of fit in that catergory.
"What? Yeah, I'm fine." She looked around.
"Do you know who's performing?" Stephanie looked down at her menu.
Yeah, she was hiding the truth yet again. And avoiding it too!
What was she supposed to say?
'Hmm. No I'm not okay. Suddenly, or not so suddenly, all of these thoughts about my ex keep popping up and its pissing me off.'
Oh yeah right. Maybe she should just tac on, 'oh and by the way, Landon? He's my baby's daddy.'
Haa...riiiiight.

But then she went over and actually pulled his chair out, change of pace there, but he went with it and sat down- ah, then he saw why, because she sat down on him. Of course. And he didn't mind one bit.
Only one spoon came with it, but there were also the ones that came with their food that he hadn't needed. But he wouldn't need it now either. Katy saw to that.
She took just a bit from the spoon herself before presenting the spoon to Landon, so he leaned forward and took the creamy delight into him mouth.
"See. Yummy."
But then she took the cherry! Not cool!
"Aaah, is there only one?" he looked down, yup, their had only been one cherry.
So he plucked the stem from her hand and stuck it in his mouth.
Took him about 10 seconds flat, and he stuck his tongue out with the cherry stem on it still, but it was tied in a knot.
Yup. Mad skills right there.

Smirking as she looked at Landon, he took the stem, but she still had the cherry. "That's really sexy, just so you know." She picked the knot off of his tongue. It really was impressive, she wished her tongue was that talented, maybe she just needed more practiced.
She wrapped her arm halfway around his neck, pressing her lips to his. Maybe he can get some left over cherry juice. Of course she had to be a tease. It wasn't rough, but very soft and gentle, and only for a few moments. Before she pulled away, smiling at him.
Turning back to the ice cream, she got another spoonful, with a small piece of banana this time. Looking back at him, she offered him the spoonful. "Would you like some more?" She asked, blushing. Her mind was running off with many things. With things such as, when was the last time they were intimate? And if they can get more cherries? When exactly are they going to leave? And what are they going to do tomorrow? Hmm, yes.
But still, she liked being there, on his lap. Before she sat down, she should have said wide load coming through, beware, may be bony. But of course, that always happens to her. What she should of done a few moments ago, but oh well, it was funny in her own mind.

Landon smirked, "They say it means your a good kisser, what do you think?" he asked after she took the knot of cherry stem off of his tongue.
Well that was a good enough answer for him, as she wrapped her arm a little ways around his neck and pressed her lip to his, a sweet cherry filled kiss. At least he got a taste. It was soft as well, and didn't last nearly as long as he would like, but of course, they were still only out here.
Landon took the spoon from her then and comically stuffed his face with a huge spoonful of ice cream. All of it made it's way into his mouth, but then of course- brain freeze.
He squeezed his eyes shut tightly and shook his head. Oooow!!!
Landon blinked a few times, "Ow, maybe you should keep doing it..." he muttered. But hey, he like, hadn't wanted the ice cream to melt or anything!

"I thought I'd splurge a little" he said, but then he couldn't help the chuckle that escaped through.
"There was one complimentary with the deal I got on our trip, Special deal, but only one. I thought I would have one sent to us after dinner tonight, but this worked too" he said with a shrug, now grinning.
Well... this whole thing was a lot more expensive then Stephanie new, but he had wanted to make sure she would do it. Best keep the exact number vague.
Hmm, but at least she seemed alright, said she was anyway, and there was no reason, that he could conceive, for her to keep anything from him. Spontaneous perhaps?
"No, I'm not sure, but I think they have someone scheduled in around 10 minutes or so to perform." It probably wouldn't be anyone they knew of or anything, but judging by this place so far, they'd probably be really good at what they did.
Their drinks arrived right after that, the bottle only being set down in front of James, while Stephanie received her Strawberry Margarita.
Without wasting a moment, he nodded in thanks and waited for the bottle to be opened, so he could pour it himself into the wine glass.
"Do you know what you want to eat yet babe?" he asked, looking up as he took a sip. ..And even when your hope is gone

Stephanie looked at him causiously but went with his excuse. She, normally, was completely against drinking in general.
It just led to stupid decisions and horrible outcomes. And god knew what else!
She had swore it off after she found out she was pregnant with Hayley.
And James ...knew that. But it didn't matter. She shrugged it off, especially once her drink arrived. She took a small sip from it. The alcohol actually burned her throat. And with the next drink, a bigger one, it stung her nose too.
Seh squinted but recovered soon there after.
"Yeah," She commented, knowing it was rude to drink right away like that. But it felt good, despite the stinging. "I'll just have a uhm," Well, she was actually starving.
Salad?
Screw it.
"I'll have the steak. Well done. With a ceasar salad." Mhm. Sounded good.
"And for a side?"
"Hmm, loaded baked potato?" She was just guessing, hadn't really looked the menu over..
But it seemed okay with the waitor. Shocking order, but okay. She looked over at James, his turn.
And she took another small drink.
Hey, it didn't burn near as muhc.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James thought Stephanie didn't seem to happy with her drink, and he again wondered about her reason for getting it. But, well, the reason he had come up with before seemed to be the only thing to him. Still...
He frowned only slightly, looking at her curiously as well, before wiping it off again with a smile.
James took another sip of his wine and looked up as she ordered, then had to think a moment about what he wanted himself.
"Alfredo pasta with garlic bread" he said simply, raising an eyebrow at Stephanie in amusement. She sure had ordered a lot of food, which he just thought was kind of funny. Could she really eat all of that? ..And even when your hope is gone
