Seth started his way back down the path "On it, lets go." They had been walking for a mite when Seth said. "So, it would seem that Kirai and Edward's army will not be enough to take down Avarice. I don't want our Salazar going off on a suicide mission, we need to think of something we can do to tip the scales in Kirai's favor. We do that, we get less bloodshed. What do you think?"

"It's a tough problem to crack. Although maybe we should look into more...unorthodox methods. I tell you my idea later, it is never safe to speak openly around here." Seth said as walked down the fork they had came from. "Once Avarice is dead we can make our move and rise to power. We're working for Kirai because if we killed her then Avarice would be the other faction. As you can see he is quite the power and we would be crushed. So what is important is that when we 'recruit' we do so for our faction. Then we have them fight for her for a while. When the war is over we will have a good supply of members. That is the plan."

"All I hate is why it is fought." Seth said as he finally made it to the cave exit. "Well, either way there is work to be done. Lets head on back to the castle. We can work on not setting everything on fire when you use it." As he said this he smiled and started back to the castle

Banshi rested her hand on Mercy's back. "Ready to go?"

Seth arrived at the summit of the mountain with Lily. "He should be here." he said as he looked around for him.

"And I am." A voice from behind them said. "So I suppose you're here to kill me.

Seth looked at Salazar. He was unarmed and in a new set of clothes. "How very interesting." He thought as he began to walk towards him. "Not if you do as we ask."

"And what is that? Come back to the castle and be Kirai's puppet? I don't think so mate."

Seth stood facing him. They were only inches from each other. "I need your help Sal."

"Don't call me Sal." Salazar said glaring at him.

Seth ignored him and continued. "Here in a few hours me and Lily plan to enter the Demonic Realm. We need your help Salazar, me and her can't do it alone."

He scoffed at this proposal. "Why in god's name would I want to do that."

"Because you wouldn't let me die in there. And because it will give you a chance to fight Edward without any interruptions." As Seth said this his face remained unchanged. Stone, cold, emotionless.

Salazar grinned at the thought. Then something else occurred to him. Kirai was without a soul, if he could kill Edward in the Demonic Plane and then have the demon possess Kirai, the war would be over and he would have won. "You win. I'll go."

Seth smiled back and said. "Good, I'm going to need you to also get a prisoner for the human sacrifice needed. Think you can do that?"

"With pleasure." Salazar said as he started off on his hunt. "I'll be to the castle shortly."

Seth watched Salazar walk off into the distance and sighed. "We can't let him kill Edward, got it?"

Banshi watched the others in the cave, listening in on them from a safe place in the distant darkness. What? Salazar turned on them? From what that man said, Salazar is planning... Clinching her fist, she sent the thought to Michael, Michael, I need to hurry to Vaclav. I'm leaving you in charage of finding our man until I return. There are two others in these caves, I'm ordering you to avoid them as much as possible for the time being. Hurring silently out, Banshi's black figure, her ripped trench coat flapping, ran out into the white snowstorm outside the caves, following the man in the direction of Vaclav. I'll be back soon.

Michael simply nodded and walked into the cave, avoiding the other group. "I need to wrap this up pronto. She wouldn't leave unless it was urgent." The cave seemed to go on forever, the only lead he had was from bursts of light that seemed to come out of nowhere. Eventually he came up a dead end where a man was sitting, occasionally throwing balls of lightning at the wall. "Mr. Black, I would like a word."

Vesuvius remained silent and continued to light the cave up with his bolts. "You from the Asylum?"

"No. My name is Michael, I'm a Crusnik."

Vesuvius scoffed. "And what do the Crusniks want with me eh? Do they wish to study me like a lab rat?"

Michael walked forward and said. "Not at a-"

When Michael stepped forward Vesuvius immediately shot his hand forward and sent a bolt of lightning into his shoulder. The blow knocked him back onto the ground. "First, off." He said getting up to stand over him. "It's V. Secondly, I want to meet with Banshee, not her b***h."

Michael's immediate reaction was to kill the man where he stood but he went against it. "I better get more than a pay raise for this mission" He thought getting up from the ground. His shoulder had begun to heal a bit, but it was still pretty messed up. "You're a good shot, I admire that...Listen, I'll take you to her but if you so much as take one step out of line, I'll kill you."

"Just try. Where are we going?"

Michael started out of the cave. "Castle Vaclav."

V rushed up to Michael and grabbed his arm. "We're going my way. I don't want to risk an ambush." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Energy started to swirl around them and then exploded in a flash of light, teleporting them to Castle Vaclav.
