Raiden gives a weird whinny/hiccup and reverts to...almost normal except for the huge rainbow pigtails.
KUJAKU!!! You're one of Yokoshima's minions?! Why? Why would you work for someone so horrible?

"Haha, I would say I told you so.....but it occurs to me I actually didn't" Corbenik scratched his head as the group was suddenly shackled, then turned around "Woah, hey....waoh....dude. You look even more emo than Kokujo, or you would be if you didn't lose so many points for smiling" he said as he squinted at Kujaku.
"Hmf....are you another one of Yokoshima's ridiculous minions?" asked Kokujo in a none-too-pleased tone "I should have known something like this would happen.....tch". He threw a sideways glance at Raiden. From what this Kujaku person had said, he apparently knew Raiden somehow.

Kujaku shakes his head. No, I'm no minion. Yokoshima called on me at one point and asked me to set up a trick room for anyone who might wander in here some day. He said he didn't care what it was, just to set up whatever kind of trap I felt like. Sounded like fun to me, so I took him up on his offer. I have no loyalty whatsoever to that "being".
Though...seeing as you're here, it would be an awful waste of good planning to simply let you proceed. Instead I'll tell you how to remove the shackles. The game is called...Truth or Dare! It's very simple. I ask one of you a question, and you have to answer truthfully. If your answer is false, the magic in this room will detect it and a creature will be released for you to fight. Oh, and your shackles will be removed for you to fight...but your companions will remain bound. It's your choice whether you are honest or not....but if you answer un-truthfully, your companions will know that you're lying. ((For this part of the plot, when you respond to Kujaku's question, indicate in parenthesis whether your answer is true or false xp I need to know so I'll know whether to have creatures attack or not)) My first question is for Kyla.......were you entirely happy when you were expecting your first child?

So...that's the game. I...of course I... *Kyla glances at Kold, then looks away, ashamed* No...I was not entirely happy. I was afraid. I truly wanted to see my child's face. But I was terrified at bringing a child into a world threatened by Yokoshima. I said nothing...but the fear lingered. And then he...he stole...it's my fault! My fear held me back! If I hadn't had those thoughts than maybe...maybe I would have been strong enough...and... *Kyla can't hold back the tears. She keeps herself from breaking down entirely, because she refuses to show Kujaku the extent of the pain she is feeling*

*Kold looks to Kyla.*
"Kyla....so that's how it was. That's what was bothering you all this time. I'm sorry I didn't understand."
*Kold simply glares at Kujaku. He tries to be patient to get this over with, and perhaps make him pay for this.*

Kujaku seems satisfied enough with this answer. He snaps his fingers, and Kyla is released from her bonds. Oh, and please no attempts at angry vengeful counterattacks please. I have no intention of fighting any of you myself, but any attempt to attack me will simply re-activate those shackles and make things so needlessly bothersome. Now then, my next question...hmmm...Kokujo. Take a good look at the three of your traveling companions. In the hypothetical situation that they were all in mortal peril, and you could only save one of them, or let them all perish, which of them would you save? Ah...and no tacky answers like "I'd find a way to save aaaaaall of them." I just hate obnoxious responses like that.

No Kold...I should have been honest. And rationally I know that it is Yokoshima alone to blame for what happened but... *She flexes her claws and tries to calm herself down*

Kokujo seemed to seriously consider this seriously for some moments then seemed to snap back to reality. He affixed Kujaku with his dull gaze, apparently having made his choice. ".....I would save Corbenik...." he said simply, his usually super serious voice carrying a mocking tone. He clearly wasn't even trying to tell the truth or even hide that he was telling a lie. It seemed his choice was to avoid the question entirely.
"I knew it!" exclaimed Corbenik "I really am more important than anyone else here! I think it's time I gave Kold and Kyla the in-your-face dance....I'm not sure when I'll stop. PREPARE YOURSELVES!" Corbenik celebrated....apparently not even considering that Kokujo might have chosen Raiden. He proceeded to perform the oddest mix of popular dances ever witnessed, inclusive of random hip thrusts.
((Blatent lie xd ))

Kujaku laughs and wags a finger at Kokujo. Tisk tisk. You choose a lie? Well I suppose your..."friend" there is in enough denial that he'd never realize it. Well played...though now you pay a penalty! He claps his hands and Kokujo is released from his shackles. Two creatures appear in front of Kokujo. One is a small blue salamander which scuttles away quickly onto the ceiling. The other is a huge red lizard creature armed with an axe. It charges at Kokujo and swings with the axe. It also swings its tail occasionally, which is long and tipped with poisoned spikes.

"Hmf, alright....let's get this over with...." Kokujo said, flexing his wrist as he was released from the shackles, and eyeing his 2 opponents. He decided it might be best to concentrate on the quicker blue salamander first, it seemed like it would be irritating should he try to fight the red one.
Kokujo quickly turned and leapt onto the door he had just been shackled to as the red lizard approached. He ran up the stone surface, flipping off it to avoid the axe swing, landing on the creatures head and jumping off that - hitting the ground running on the other side. With any luck he could outrun the red one for the time being as long as he avoided getting cornered. He took his shuriken from his back, skidding to a stop for a moment to hurl it with some force towards the blue lizard on the ceiling, taking off running again, starting to reach out to the abundant shadows in the room.

The blue salamander squeaks as it's quickly squished by Kokujo's weapon. It drops from the ceiling. The red lizard runs over to it and plucks its corpse from the ground. A single tear rolls out of its huge yellow eye. It points its axe at Kokujo and snarls something angrily in "lizard" before vanishing. Kujaku nods. Not bad...didn't expect you to go after the blue one right away. The red one was a complete bluff you see. Anyhow...two down and two more to go. Let's go with...Kold. Tell me Kold...what is the thing you regret most in your life? The people you slaughtered as an assassin? The wife you were unable to save? Or perhaps something else? Something you never accomplished? And I'm not talking about one thing you regret, or something you feel bad about. No. What regret do you try to push out of your mind but are unable to fully escape?

*Kold thinks for a moment*
"Sorry, but no dice. I am unable to answer your question. Even if I wanted to, I can't recall the exact reason for this stinging regret in my heart. You can try to accuse me of 'backing out', but it's the truth. Although I can say that is none of those things.
The thing I regret most must be pretty bad, as I'm literally unable to recall what it is."
*Kold waits, unsure how the room will respond to this.

For the first time, Kujaku scowls. Liar. You have a regret. Oh yes...it harbors within you. You say that you can't recall it...but somewhere in the depths of your marrow, some shred of you remembers. And someday that small shred may just rise out of wherever it is burried and consume you like a wicked flame. He points a finger at Kold. I will not subject you to a fight however, because your penalty will be that you will someday realize that regret, and keeping that regret from eating you alive will be a battle in itself. ((This isn't like a curse or a hex or anything, it's just Kujaku saying "whenever it is that you realize it, that will be enough of a "punishment")He waves a hand in front of his face, and his sneaky grin returns. And finally Raiden. My question is really quite simple, though it will no doubt confuse your friends. Tell me Raiden...who is it that you love more than any other? To whom would you give your heart?

*Kyla frowns at Kold and thinks*
::Something Kold regrets so much that he can't remember it...well...whatever the past, it's the future that concerns me most::
*She shakes her head in confusion at Kujaku's question to Raiden*
Who Raiden loves? What kind of question is that? It's Orion! At least Raiden's question wasn't quite so...troubling, mew mew.
