Rhys was nearly ready for Fortify--Isadora's scream gave the signal--but then he noticed Sister Victoria off in the distance about to do the same thing he was doing. Since Jyoti was close by, he decided to defer to let Victoria do the healing. The other Bishop could definitely do the job with that staff.
The glow on the red Fortify gem faded, and he instead turned to Jyoti as... Who the heck is that? Gray wings? ...Weird. And how does he know Jyoti?
Never mind. Such thoughts didn't matter right now. He walked over towards the Valkyrie, allowing her and Loch to banter as he got close.

Octavio remembered Ashera's words... He couldn't be afraid. This is something he has to do.
"Fine. You want it?" He raised his staff... Thought he'd get right to the point. "Aesir!" The spell caused the whole room to flash. There was thunder from out of nowhere. Octavio smiled. This spell is powerful... Dark clouds formed in the cave.
Suddenly lightening came out of the clouds, striking around... Balls of energy began to circle the evil man...
A huge bolt of lightening shot out for Loki.

John stood up with a lil more energy poured into him he pulled his broken steel bow up and tossed it aside. He grabbed a nearby archer morph and socked him as soon as the morph hit the ground took his bow from him and stomped his boot into the morphs face and shot an arrow into it for good measure. It was a silver bow. It was nice and smooth but no time to care now. He saw the one who cast the spell in the first place and took out 4 arrows which he luckily still had and pulled back as hard as he can and let loose but at the last second a morph bumped into him and he sent the arrows flying into another morph.

Madriana was ecstatic when she saw Neros bring Mika down... She watched as she fell to the ground.
"Soren... Soren please protect me as I heal her..." She said to him.
She knelt next to Mika and brought out her recover staff.
A white light surrounded Mika as Madriana put an arm behind her back to hold her sitting up. "Mika... Mika... You'll be ok..." She said.
Mika laid, weak, nearly unconscious... Madriana was taking care of her... A smile crossed her lips...

In the end......finally you will realize shame... _____________________ "Gah!" She was fazed for a split second, dropping the girl. She quickly composed herself, however, and grabbed her opposite shoulder.
But she was finished. She would have dropped her off, but Neros had his own business with the girl as well. He snatched the druid from her grasp, pulling her off to the ground below.
Vika was sated. With a cry, she fluttered on to the ground. _____________________ In the end, no one will hear you cry.

"HEEEEY!" Ed shouted, kinda like an overdone Navi call as she headed straight into the morph reinforcements that had fallen upon Leon. She wasn't really able to waste her breath on talking so the most she could do was knock some of the reinforcements over to help (and then stab one while it was on the ground).
She kicked another morph while it was down, but they recuperated fairly easily and she started swinging through them. She couldn't dance that well! She supposed she'd just have to switch to brutality. She slashed through the morphs, but when they got too close she shoved the flat of her blade into one to knock a few back over. Ed started stomping on one in frustration until another crossed blades with her.
"This — is — really — tiring —" she gasped, trying to keep up. Thankfully she'd only been tangling with the morphs so far! Maybe a few scratches here and there, but she had yet to use a vulnerary or elixir~

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤"Stop."
Jyoti full on twitched at the sound of the voice, way too familiar for her own tastes. "Loch..." The valkyrie hissed, snapping repeatedly to let the two Antarams that were going to finish up. Her eyes fell on his tome, Thoron. She remembered that spell... it was the one that he had in his hand when he told Lance to stop.
... Psychic? Her eyes turned and she glared. That woman again? Why? Why?!
She bit her tongue slightly, ordering herself to focus. Too much going on to lose that focus. Those who she attacked were healed and that male bishop was coming at her and Loch had Thoron and--
The valkyrie what she had to do. Would she have the time, though?
... Only one way to find out. Again, the words were read, and again, the tome glowed, and again she said those key words to get the spell going: "Thousand petals, blowing... swirling, eternally... Antaram!" The spell formed and split, some petals around Rhys, some going to Sue, but most around Loch.
Her message was clear. "Bring it on, Loch."¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.

Lance's eyes widened as Annis turned around mid-air and charged at him, with her daggers drawn and anger in her eyes. Wait, what?! Is she going to attack me for yelling at her!?
Lance wanted to bring up his arms to guard, but his aching body couldn't react at the same speed as his mind. Lance braced himself helplessly for the impending pain. Instead of pain, he had a voice calling out to him. "Watch out!"
"Eh?"
The winged woman crashed into him, sending him flying, but kept on going past him as he hit the ground. Lance stared in amazement as the woman tumbled and wrestled with a morph that Lance had failed to notice. As she finished off the morph, she turned to face him, glaring daggers. Did she just...save him?
"Uhm...ah, tha-..."
Lance's gratitude was cut short by the woman lashing out at him. Lance would've retaliated if he didn't, in hindsight, agree to what she said completely. What he had done was stupid and rash, and he nearly paid it with his life, if not for her. This was a completely new experience for him, though. Sure, Finn had given Lance a fair amount of reprimandings, but they were friends! This was a woman he had never met before, but she just saved his life, and then went on to lecture him about his own stupidity. Lance was left speechless, this had never happened before. For a moment, he said nothing as he stood up. He didn't really know what to say. "...yes. You're right. What I did was completely senseless, and if not for you, I would've been a goner. But I can't really help it! Whether I like it or not, my mind functions like th-...!"
Lance stopped talking as he noticed the woman bleeding from her stomach. Curious...from around the same place as me. "Wait, hang on...did you...? Stay there. Don't move." he motioned for Annis to stay put as he approached her quickly. He rummaged through his back belt pocket, and took out a cyan colored coin. He fastened it to his right hand's palm, as he kneeled down as started praying. "I pray to thee, Tymora the Gourd-Bearer, lend me your power. Restore this unfortunate one's body for your loyal follower." As he finished his recital, the coin lit up and started glowing with a soothing light, as Lance places his hand just above Annis' stomach, being careful not to touch her. He slowly moved his hand around, making sure to cover every spot, as her wound started closing up. It was still red of blood, but at least it didn't bleed anymore. The coin stopped glowing, and Lance removed the coin again. "Hm...not bad. Been a while since I used one, and it's not quite the same as a real Heal staff, but it does the trick. Thank Tymora it was a shallow...wound?"
Lance felt something wet along his own stomach. Aw crap. He touched it lightly, and winced at the pain. From the impact with Annis earlier, Lance's own wound had opened up. He smiled sheepishly at Annis. "Ah...this doesn't look too good. I only had one Heal coin, and it takes some time before I can re-use...it. Well, at least I helped you out, didn't I?"
He didn't feel like mentioning that it was probably her fault his wound opened up. Especially since his vision was getting blurry.

"...Yes, Madriana."
How long do you think you can withstand being called the wrong name? That is my name. Hahaha, you would lie to yourself? Even the goddess agreed to it. ...So? Her word doesn't mean anything. But you don't feel that way. ...Look over there.
Neros glanced into the battle and saw a brightly robed figure scrabbling around for his tomes. He sucked in his breath, trembling again with fury.
He's here! He's here!! What is he doing here!? Isn't it obvious? They're fighting Loki, Ashera's enemy. He shouldn't be here!! And yet he is.
Neros stretched his wings, standing between Madriana and enemies of the Heroes. He didn't want Madriana to see him. The real Soren. Sitting all the way over there. He couldn't let it happen. Even if Soren had changed too, that didn't mean Madriana wouldn't recognize him. Neros bristled and growled lowly.
What are you hanging onto anyway?
----------
"Soren" hadn't really noticed. He managed to get a grasp on the Elwind tome and too slipped that into his robe. He examined the skies for a sign of the raven he and Fa had been occupied with, catching his breath, feeling over his skull for injuries.

Madriana finished healing the weakened Mika. "Poor sister." She said. "Thank you, Soren." She looked at him. "Now I must... Keep Mika safe... Because she's unconscious."
Those feelings... Those feelings of being so real. She couldn't let that go away. Fear. She liked the fear! Even though it wasn't a pleasant feeling... it was a feeling. She hugged Mika. This was a better feeling.. A much better feeling...
"Soren... we must keep Mika safe!"

Seeking hope in an unknown land......within the despair all around... _____________________ Antaram...such an exquisite spell. "Bring it on, Loch.""As you wish, fair beauty." He leapt up through the petals. They stung, but they would not cause lasting harm. He flittered around her. One hand summoned a globe of crackling energy. It charged, grew...and then he hurled it at her. It struck the ground a few paces off from her - intentional. It was a warning shot. The energy stuck to the ground for a split moment, then detonated into the full fury of the Thunder God himself. It rocked the earth, it shook anyone nearby it - Loch and Jyoti were the closest. When the dust had cleared, a fair-sized crater remained in the earth between the two. Loch hovered motionless in the air, watching her. "Your move, m'lady." _____________________ I search for happiness, whatever it takes.

Chaos, screams, shrieks..you name it, it was here, anything chaotic it was here. It was either dealing with Morphs or one of the heroes. Ephraim spun his heel and pierced a morph near him before. One seemingly very notable out of the crowd, had an axe flying toward him.
Taking this chance, Ephraim followed after it which lead to a man with an afro. Now wasn't the time to question, objective, take down whoever and whatever at the moment.
((Rushed, I read all post, too lazy to acknowledge for the time being X_x ))

Loki raised his head to watch the clouds forming, then lifted his arm suddenly as the lightning cracked down upon him! The power was incredible, illuminating the room, and culminated in a violent explosion directly on Loki himself! It certainly appeared to destroy him on the spot, which is what the spell was designed to do.
So why, when the smoke cleared, was he standing, ash on his cheeks, which healed over smoothly as his hair smoked, right where he was?
"Quite a display," he laughed, "But let me show you the true power of a god." He held his arms out to the sides, wrists limp, then turned them in a circle-- a full circle. His shoulders simply migrated across his back and chest to let it happen-- and then a vertical circle, just the same way. In their wake, they left red, runed circles hanging in the air, which swung and spun around him wildly before lining up together vertically behind him.
"My sons, rise up and devour! Strike down the filth of Order and destroy the lands of my fathers!" He spread his arms and brought them forward to face Octavio... and then he shouted, "Bjarkun! Snaptun!" he shouted, and at last invoked his spell: "Gylfaginning!" Enormous pillars of magic shot from the circle and cross the room, turning and sweeping down, curling around and in toward Octavio from the sides! On the right, a slavering wolf's jaws opened wide, made of magic and breathing fire, while on the left was a serpent's head, dripping venom and breathing smoke!
They collided around Octavio, and crushed hm with unbelievable dark energy!

Annis flicked her weapons to the side, casting off the excess blood. The yellow-eyed man seemed to be all right. That was a good sign. She pushed the weapons back into their scabbards, folding her arms over her chest as he spoke. Her stomach continued to bleed, and she barely held back the wince, one hand moving to press over the injury.
"...yes. You're right. What I did was completely senseless, and if not for you, I would've been a goner. But I can't really help it! Whether I like it or not, my mind functions like th-...!"
Annis' expression had softened a bit while he spoke, looking down at her toes. Should she have rammed into him if he was going to be like this? Most people would've just started shouting at her about how they could've handled it themselves. She tossed her hair away from her face with a flick of her chin. "Well, in the future, you should probably avoid--"
"Wait, hang on...did you...? Stay there. Don't move."
Annis looked down. The wound stung in pain at that moment, making her take in a hissing breath. Oh. Right. His attentions forced her hand away from the wound, holding back the blood. Before she could argue, he was doing... something... but she was feeling less pain. "A-Ahh..." she breathed, watching as the wound slowly closed. What in Ashera's name is in that little coin?
"Hm...not bad. Been a while since I used one, and it's not quite the same as a real Heal staff, but it does the trick. Thank Tymora it was a shallow...wound?"
Annis frowned. A pause. Not good. She looked down, finally registered the bandages... Bandages. s**t.
"Ah...this doesn't look too good. I only had one Heal coin, and it takes some time before I can re-use...it. Well, at least I helped you out, didn't I?"
Annis took in a breath through her teeth, rubbing the blood on her palm off of on her shirt. It was bloody already, a little more didn't hurt. Without another word, Annis pulled Lance up like a bride, where he wouldn't have to move unnecessarily. "If you'd waited a minute, I think I have a Vulnerary with me... so let's get you where you won't be a nice, bleeding target." Annis' wings whipped at the air as she lifted off with the extra weight, moving into the trees before resting him down on the dirt. She glanced back at the fighting; they weren't coming after her. With that, she dug into her bag and found the brown bottle. She swished the contents, gauging how much was there before yanking off the cork.
"Just at your stomach, right?" she asked. "This stuff is salve, not potion, so... if that's the only place where you're hurt, I'll just remove the bandages there. Got it?"

No more.
No. MORE.
No more dodging. No more hiding, no more running, no more magic no more people no more LIFE! She'd kill them. Kill them kill them kill them. They wanted to hurt her. They wanted to hurt Jyoti. HER Jyoti. They wouldn't touch her. They didn't dare touch her. If they touched her they'd have nothing left to touch with. The woman shot at her; it hit her side, but the angle was off and it got caught in the metal. Damn it damn it DAMN IT. This was NOT HOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. They were supposed to WIN.
... But...
...She was tired. Tired of all this. She didn't want it. She wanted Jyoti. She didn't want to fight anymore. But she had to keep fighting. She had to keep on going. If not, it would be just like before... SHe would be kept away from Jyoti again... So she turned, Isadora's spear denting the chestplate of her armor inwards, and raised her blade to counter, knocking Isadora's back. If one looked deep under her armor, one could see her eyes, filled with a strange sadness. She accepted her fate... as long as Jyoti was there with her. As long as she could be with Jyoti forever...
