Waffle was still cradling the orb in the towel. The prismatic glow long disappeared, but it still had some trace amount of magic left. Knowing that, Waffle was still careful, even if the rest of her was in a reverie of unknown sorts.
She looked up at Zombi and didn't bother laughing.
"Yeah.. about that...can we leave now? Or are we still waiting for something?"

Luciano reached into his vest for his flask then he said "Yes. Please? Can we go home now? I want to go to sleep!" He took a swig of the liquid and then he let out a soft burp "Pardon me."

Somehow, even though she had been in the room, she had been overlooked for the mission, she figured perhaps, she was a tad bit too forgettable. " Yes i know no one else is here. Stuttering, after noticing that everyone was waiting on her, "y-yeah, sorry. Was just, y'know, putting stuff away." She stood up, and started to walk in the direction of the base, but stopped suddenly. "So...who wants to help me write the report?" She asked, looking behind her.

By then everyone in the group returned home, exhausted. Waffle and Luciano were both tired in particular and needed sleep.
They both headed to their respective rooms for the night.
On the way, Waffle noticed that Twi and Shandrel were talking to each other about food and such.
How cute.
When Waffle entered her room, she walked over to her bed and passed out for the night.

Gilles scoffed and just tried to appear busy. He wasn't used to having so many people in his work area, but as long as they were helping he didn't have anything to complain about. But he wasn't Emeril - he was never good at this whole "people" thing. But by the looks of it, neither were the other two, so he didn't sweat too much over it.
"Just putting on the finishing touches here. How about over there?"

"i've finished the appetizer Gilles, and evn cleaned up. i had time to make myself a snack. dinner looks delicious, i'll enjoy it when everyone else is ready."
he led Shandril up to his room, and showed her the portal he was working on. he just had a few more pieces to assemble, and the null fragments to install, and then he could start the thing up and 'program' it to his main portal. "this thing is almost don realy, but it could take all night on my own. lovely, ain't it?" he asked her, showing off his love of gothic arches.
