Shepard floated with his wings behind Alyassa. " Your power is impressive. Even though your half of a whole your power is not weak. you just can't use it. But still your powers are amazing for a half-bred. To bad you where not a chaos vampire. You could easily become there female champion" he said smiling.


Gordon smiled. " No way he could surive that. He was caught right in the middle. " he said giving the peace sign and smiling.

Kai crouched down beside Kaori, tapping her lightly on the shoulder to get her attention. "Hey, you alright?" he asked quietly, eyes narrowed slightly. He reached towards Kei and renewed the patch of ice over the dragon's wound. Then he glanced up at Gordon, but then quickly looked away as he recalled their earlier encounter.

Kaori watched him and smiled slightly, petting Kei softly. She glanced towards Kai and nodded. "Yes, I'm fine. Just a headache from using too much at once." She frowned slightly, realizing she'd have to train and increase her powers if she wanted to survive in this place. It wasn't exactly like she'd expected and this was a bit much for her first day.

She looked up at Gordon and smiled back, nodding. "Good," she muttered as she gently touched the patch of ice over Kei's injury. She then placed both her hands over her head again. She'd decided to forgive Gordon for insulting Kai earlier but wasn't sure if Kai had decided to or not. She sighed softly as she glanced back at the victorious male. "Congratulations on your win," she said softly.

"Y-Your father?!"she shrieked in surprise, her eyes wide with amazement. "I heard about the war and your father. I also heard that you all carry amazing amounts of power and some still has not been recognized."

Alyssa brushed her blonde hair away from her face and dug her heels into the ground to stop the swing. Once there was no motion, she jumped into the air and grabbed hold of the bar Shapeard was sitting on. With a soft grunt, Alyssa pulled herself up and sat next to him curiously eyeing him.

"If I had that sort of power...Well, it doesn't really matter to dream about it. Everything you all can do sounds amazing."Alyssa rested her hand on an open palm of her hand dreaming of the things she could do if she were a purebread. Alyssa looked down at the sand and flicked her wrist in an upward motion carelessly, watching a small line of sand fly up into the air. "Well, I enjoy my abilities." The sand began flying in a helix as if it were describing the design of something. Her eyes were dull with uninterest.

" It's easy for others to say they wish had. Even I do sometimes. You want to see a trick? It was the first thing I learned." he said smiling. He reached into his cloak and pulled out a clump of coal. He put it in his hands and squeezed it as his hands glowed a blue color.

" It takes many years for this worthless piece of coal" Shepard said as he squeezed harder and heat generated from his hands. THere was a small flash and Shepard smiled " to become a diamond. But with the right stimulation it can gain it much quicker. Maybe thats what you need. Something to come along and unlock what is hidden" he said smiling as he held a glowing diamond in his hand. He gave it to her and smiled. " For you. To remind you that all life has hidden power."

" To discover hidden power doesn't have to be from a fight. it could be many other things. i used to think it was fighting. I used to push myself hard. Near death at times but I realized one day I might day and all for a lousy new power. i realized it wasen't worth it but i am still guilty pushing myself to hard." said Shepard remebering to the past events of two years ago.

Jo's march from the gates of the school was unrelenting as she solely concentrated on finding her only freind, Julia, to relay some pressing news. This facility is filled with strangers and dangerous ones at that she thought to herself Though, knowing my freind as well as I do, am willing to place money on the prospect that at least a few may already recognize her name.. Her hands were stuffed into her zipped jacket's pockets, concealing her Desert Eagles as her face was hidden by the large scarf and a stray bang of white hair. One partially shut ruby red eye guided the body accross the campus.

A small group of young students were milling about near the playground as they seemed to be in a state of post-conflict. It's a sight that Jo could easily recognize through her combat instincts, making her aware that they were most likely fatigued and worried about rest before another fight. Jo approaced noting a frail girl bearing an extremely large blade [Kaori], a dark brooding girl [Alyssa], and a plain looking guy [Gordon]. Jo came upon the trio, taking a breif glance around the general area before speaking. "Do any of you know a woman named Julia," Jo said with a deep yet completely emotionless tone, "She's a freind of mine..." She felt nothing as she witnessed their conversaion and Alyssa's kiss, quietly waiting for a reaction.

Alyssa turned to the newcomer and shook her head, her face still a pale pink color. "No, I'm sorry but I have not seen nor heard of a girl with that name." she replied with an apologetic tone. Alyssa knew what it was like to lose a friend..Kaida. Suddenly, memories of her former best friend appeared in her mind. Alyssa lost all contact with her once her father passed, but she missed Kaida suddenly. "I understand what you're going through though."

She then peaked through the hair she had used as a barrier to sheild her blush from Shepard. She noticed he too was red in the face, causing her to laugh quietly, almost a giggle. She doesn't giggle though..she never had before. Why now?
