Kira stood slowly and stared carefully at him. She then glanced over her shoulder to where Nemia had been. She was gone. Probably playing in the woods. Kira moved slowly over to him and nodded, her eyes questioning as her face appeared indifferent. "I am not worried about concern. Your unhappiness disturbs me because I am an Animal Linguist. I am connected to them and so I am connected to you somehow. Since you are a dragoon. And I understand alot more than you might think." Kira looked back and made sure wings were situated right. She saw the few feathers and quickly picked them up. "To lose one's wings is the most painful part a person can survive. I should know. I watched my Aunt lose hers right before she died." Kira moved forward, tucking the feathers into her bag as she lifted it. She glanced back at him. "So where to?"

Kira bowed her head slightly. "There is a way to bring them back you know." Kira moved toward the door absently. "No. Nevermind. let's go."

He moved into the taining with Lena not far behind. He had been here once or twice and knew the area fairly well. He glanced around at various people training and took in a breath of the air around him.

From the first time he saw Lena, even though she was out cold, he tell there was something about her. In fact, the same thing seemed to apply to everyone at this school. They all excelled at something. It was like the entire human race had evolved or aliens from outside had invaded. He dind't really know what to think. Besides that, he was probably archaic compared to machinery of this century.

He turned around and looked at Lena. "Ready when you are.", he said, taking a few steps backward.

Lena's eyes had turned hard and cold. They were anything but what she had shown to anyone. The reflected death and she held it within her. One look in her eyes usually had others trembling. She almost knew that it would not be the same with Taern.

She crouched somewhat as he turned. "Ready when you are." A breif flash of bloodlust flashed through her eyes. She immediately lept forward, going for his legs. She didn't bother with her weapons. She paused in midstep and lept up into the air, intending to kick him in the head.

Lena didn't quite catch his fist coming at her. She managed to catch sight a bit too late and tried to dodge it. In the end, it glanced off her hip, leaving a bruise that she knew would be painful. She didn't pause as she whirled around and sent her fists at him, not bothering to check her strength.

Midori leant against the wall of the training hall.
it had been a while since she had wandered in here. it was hard to believe
that so much time had passed and she had done nothing but read in her room.
Her purple hair had now bellowed down her back and her, her figure still lean.
She walked over to the mat which had been creased with marks of many feet.
she looked ahead at the blank wall and cletheched her fist,
moving her hand in a straight line she moved with a force.
It was time she trained again.

Of course he was surprised. He was being cocky and that's what ocky gets you.

When he saw everything happening, he figured saving his back was more important. He let the leg seep catch him, but fell with skill so that he landed with his ands, parallel to his shoulders. From here, he rolled backward onto his feet, and faded out, taking a defensive posture.

He was enjoying himself and wanted this fight to last long enough for him to get serious about it.
