Adrian blinked in surprise at the pokage. "Um.. well, you were making fun of me.." He started, with a faint blush reaching his cheeks. "Well...Not making fun.. Laughing."
If it was possible, Alivia's blush darkened even further. "I don't look nice..." She said under her breath. "My name's Alivia." She mumbled. "Most call me Livvy, though... Because Alivia's too long." She explained dully. "May I ask you what your name is?" She asked. "Are you hungry? Do you want to go lunch hunting with me?"

"I just find it amusing that you don't know what any of this stuff is." Kat gave the elf a reassuring smile. "I did the same thing when I went to Lynwood for the first time." Just as she was about to say something else, she heard David speak from behind her.
"Here ya are!" The redhead was holding two trays, loaded with both their plates and drink.
"Thanks David," Kat chirped as she took her tray and sank into the nearest booth.
Gavin heard what Alivia said under her breath, and it made him frown. "Oh yes you do," he retorted, argumentatively. However, when she introduced herself, his face brightened considerably. "Ah. What a lovely name. Livvy does seem to suit you." He nodded, with an air of finality which seemed to make his statement unquestionable - at least, in his mind. When she asked him his name, he smiled, so widely that he closed his eyes for a moment.
"It's Gavin," he answered, then reopened his golden eyes. "And I am starving! Let's go!" Without waiting for a reply, he put a hand on her arm and spun her around to face the school's entrance. Then, fingers still around her forearm, he gently tugged her out the door and onto the sidewalk.
Once they were outside, he dropped her arm and put both hands on his hips. "Now!" he exclaimed, then paused to take a deep breath as he gazed up and down the street. He nodded, as if he'd just made a difficult decision, then turned to Livvy, "my nose says to go this way!" His right thumb indicated the road that could now be seen over his left shoulder.

Stasia was strolling along the corridors, her headphones streaming a constant river of music to her ears. Sure, she should have been in English right now, but come on! She had better things to do....like wander around aimlessly. That was more productive then some old English class.
Of course, she wasn't paying attention to where she was strolling, and walked right past the English room. Uh-oh.

Ben narrowed his eyes. He stepped outside his classroom and walked over to Stasia. He stayed in step with her, until he tapped her on the shoulder. His left eyebrow raised, he looked like the English teacher you didn't want to mess with.
"I'm sorry I have to do this--I know Zee was planning on taking you somewhere later today. I'll have to give you..." He looked pained, as if he regretted punishing his friend. "Detention."

(( Marina on teh mule-ness ))
Stasia paused her music as she was tapped, looking up at Ben. Crap. She listened to him, and didn't look the least bit phased. "Okay." she said, shrugging. "Do as you will."
Why was she so calm? Well, nothing to worry about if she had no intention of actually going. And as long as Zee didn't find out, everything would be hunky-dory.

"Oh.." Adrian looked relieved. "I'm glad." He looked to David, thanked him and took his tray. He ate one of the yellow straight things, as he didn't know what they were. His eyes grew to the size of saucers as he sat down. "These are good!" He said in amazement.
Livvy smiled at Gavin, before blushing. "You think so?" She asked. "I like your name too." She willingly would have followed him, but he seemed to give her no choice anyway. Once they were outside, she gave him a playful grin, something she'd picked up from her sister, and nodded. "Let's go then." She said.
Ben wrote her name down on his tablet of detentioners. "Oh, by the way. I'll be informing Zee of why you won't be going on the date tonight." He said.

And that's when she lost her calm. "No! I mean, no, I'll tell him, okay? You don't have to bother, honest." she said, waving her hands in front of her. Crap, Ben couldn't tell on her! He just couldn't!

Ben grinned. "You'll be there then? If you come early, I'll let you out before your date." He promised. "Come on, you're missing my class. It's more fun then you'd think--and I've got some fun work for you." He handed her a packet on Pixies. "Be sure to show Matth someday." He winked.

Kat smiled at his reaction. "Yep, I told you you'd like fries!" She picked up one of her chips, dipped it in some ketchup, and popped it into her mouth. Once she'd swallowed she said, "hey, you should try one of these. They make them right here in the deli so they're really fresh."

Brandy ✖ Jean ❝ Locking the class door, Vate opened the window, and let Thali out first before leaving. Shutting the window behind him, he turned around to see the outdoors. "So," he began. "Where to?"❞

Adrian looked at the chips for a moment, before shaking his head. "They look gross." He commented. "Like dried potatos, gross." Yuck. At least the fries were good. He ate another.
Thali shrugged. "Where do you want to go? Anywhere's fine with me--maybe to get lunch?" Her stomach rumbled.

Brandy ✖ Jean ❝Starving as well, Vate liked the sound of Thali's idea. "Sure thing." he replied. Grabbing the car keys out of his pocket, he unlocked his car, and opened the door for Thali. Driving is probably one of Vate's major accomplishments since the last time he has seen Thali. ❞

Thali blinked in surprise. Vate could drive? Wait, he could drive when he didn't know how to use a computer? She looked up at him as she got into the car. "Are you sure you know how to drive?" She asked. "We could always take my car."

Brandy ✖ Jean ❝ Vate understood the glance he got from Thali. "I practiced for a long time!" he said defensively. "I've never seen a computer in my life!" Turning on the car, and shifting it to drive, he backed out of the parking lot. "See?" he asked. "I can do this." He turned the wheel so he could get to the main road, but bonked the front of the car onto a tree that was standing nearby. "Ignore that!" he told Thali before she could say anything.❞

"You've done a lot of research then." Thali said, with a mock nod of approval. Inside, she was laughing. Vate, driving? That was the funniest thing she'd ever heard of. "You know..." She said, grinning at him. "You really suck."
She teased him for a moment, before thinking about where she wanted to eat. "Oh, go left. There's a restaurant I think you'll like. My treat."
