 Alec shook his head, "Uh, no. I just couldn't sleep, too many things running through my mind at the moment." He knelt down, brushing his hand along the cool grass. With his previous chain of thought broken, he might as well chat with Anne for the time being. He turned around, avoiding eye contact by staring at the ground.

Anne felt some coldness inside her. Immediately the water people popped and she flew in the air. "I can leave if you want. You seemed to be busy.."She said, turning and gently flying away.

Alec looked up, and his chest tightened as he saw Anne moving away. "It's okay, I forgot what I was thinking about...you can stay if you want," He knew he was lying when he said he forgot. Confusion about Anna and Aurelia still ran through his mind, but he still wanted to talk. He'd confront Talus about his predicament later.

Ashley sighed and walked toward the tiger cage. She opened the lock and slipped in. She knelt down and picked up a baby tiger. She smiled softly and walked out of the cage with it. She put the baby down and it ran toward the forest. Shaking her head she ran after it. Tripping she cut her hand. "Ow" she mumbled under her breath. She looked up and saw a lone figure. Shrugging she called for the little tiger. "Shiba" she called softly.

Anne nodded and stayed at the top of the tree. She didn't want to upset him, and she felt the past anger he had towards her. "Are you still mad at me..?" She asks, the kitten purring softly.

((The figure, is that Alec?)) "I'm not mad at you," Alec replied, "Just...confused." The fireballs that danced around him flickered slightly, further enhancing his point. They continued to circle the boy. ...Maybe he could talk to Anne about how he felt? No, that would just make things complicated. Really complicated.

Anne floated down beside Alec, having to sit very close to him for the fire not to hurt her. She looked at Alec and smiled slightly. "I can listen. I promise i wont put in my 2-cents.." She said, holding up two pennies. She giggled a bit and handed them to Alec, winking.

Alec took the pennies silently, putting them in his pocket. He nodded to her, then began; "...Well, I don't know if I like you or not. I've been thinking about it, but I still can't figure it out. I don't know if my reactions to the kiss was the fact that I might like you, or if I'm just not used to...being kissed. Then when my mind was on crushes and all that...I just started thinking about this person I liked before I came to the circus. I also have mixed feelings, and I can't tell if I still like this person..." Alec finished his explanation and hesitantly looked at Anne for a response, reassurance, anger, anything.

Anne thought then nodded. "okay then. I understand." She said smiling. she petted her cat, thinking to herself. she wanted to show how Flexible she was, even if it was making her giggle inside.

((Giggle?! D: )) Alec gazed at Anne expectantly, this time he WANTED her two cents. Picking a blade of grass and twirling it between his fingers, his mind started to wander back to his predicament before it snapped back to reality. "M-Maybe...I should ask Talus for advice..."

Hesitantly, Alec got up and made his way to the water's edge. He gazed into it's rippling surface, seeing only his blurred reflection. Frowning, he concentrated harder until a faint silhouette appeared beside him in the water. "I see...something, but I don't know who it is. It's too faded," He turned to Anne, "Are you sure this works with everyone else?" ((Ahaha, I'm not telling. XD))

"ooh wait. Mittens?" Anne calls, as a big white wolf comes out of the forest. "mittens, be a dear and wake up the water crystals?" she asks, as the wolf comes over to the water and taps it paw into the water, making it crystal clear and visible. "What do you see?"

Alec edged away from the wolf cautiously and looked into the water again. Nothing but a slim silhouette beside him. Did that mean he's unsure, or did Alec have to find out the answer for himself? His wand splashed the water angrily. He got up and ran his fingers through his hair, mad at himself for not knowing the answer. "Dammit," he said, "I didn't see a thing. Only a shadow of a person."

"well, I dont know then. If it makes you feel better i can ease off you so you can date the carnival lady and I can be with Kiri." she said, standing beside Alec. All Anne wanted to do is make him happy. Even if it meant sacrifices.
