Sorry for the massive post. I felt it was about time Ethin and Esole interacted with the others. Sorry for adding the bit about Saldaea without discussing it here. I will gladly change it if it inconveniences either of you. And sorry it took so long for me to post. My girlfriend has been in town for the pas week after being gone in Japan for over a month without any form of communication and she is leaving tomorrow for college so I've been spending all the time I could with her. We said our goodbyes tonight so I may be in and out in posting. I'm really down right now but decided you guys deserved some posts from the ol' Inkers.

Nope, Saldea doesn't bother me in the least. If anything, it'll bring a more personal note than just picking any random old spot. Now we have somewhere to go when we're done decimating Cairhien. xd

Ok...so heres the tricky part...explaining how exactly Melthin got is taint and why he's coughing. Well I was thinking of the coughing fits to be helf his won falut form overuse of the power as Kiae hinted at and the other half due to the taint. Secondly...I was thinking of having the Taint be given to him through an item he holds dear, Anya's ring or something else significant. As to how...the taint itself would have transfered from the item to Melthin like a poison, growing stronger the longer he has it which would explain the even more sickness he's had recently. As to the how, I'm going with it being one of his servants working for the darkfriends. Not sure if that holds up....I need to start re-reading the series again to familiarize myself with their world. Is that adaquate enough Fubar?

Although your post was not addressed to me, I will respond anyways.
I think that that would work. It sounds very similar to when Rand and the party went to Shadar Logoth and Mat took the dagger from Mordeth and slowly was corrupted but its taint. Seems plausible to me. At least WoT-wise. It also provides a means of being healed from the taint as well. The overuse of the Power could be thought of as amplifying the taint from whatever item Melthin is carrying.
Oh and Foobykins. Not sure where you'd like things to go from here. Did you have anything planned for Kiae and Ethin? I'll wait for a response before I post as Ethin.

That works for me. Although it doesn't explain the voice - I told Melthin it was too similar to Rand for my liking, but it's up to you what he does with that, Inkers. I don't mind anything else in the post.
And I didn't have anything particular in mind, I was hoping you did for them...

The voice? I think I missed the part where they said Melthin is hearing voices. Perhaps something more original?
Uh oh. I didn't either. Just wanted a clarification. Kiae and Ethin are just friends, right? Hm, I'm really at a loss over what to do with them next. I'll try and think of something but I can't promise brilliance.

It's all in caps, telling Metlhin to kill Esole. I thought that was a bit over-the-top, especially since he can't even explain what's going on initially, then keeps adding stuff.
I hate that.
Well, you kind of seemed to hint Ethin has feelings for Kiae, when he said he was more upset about her than Esole when she got mad with him, but I wasn't sure if that was just him or not - since you said Esole was special to him first. It's up to you.
I'm so confused! gonk What about another fun encounter with Reider? biggrin

Hm, I can't recall but I'll take your word for it. That is rather.. excessive.
Oh, yeah I was hinting at that but I was trying to make it really subtle so if you didn't agree, it could still be him just caring. So it's up to you where you want things to go with that smile
That would be interesting seeing as how it's not just Kiae there biggrin
